The Mysterious Game: 1: Library Solo Mystery Closed

The library was bustling as usual. People gathering books, doing homework, both students and lecturers could be seen coming in and out of here. The librarian would often be seen here and there, managing the books, or keeping an eye on the students. The Professors usually prefer to be seated separately unless some students come over for help. The students at times sit in groups, gathering materials for their homework or simply exploring some books. For me, the scent of books was addicting enough to pay a visit here as often as I could. I freely browse through several sections of the library, Quidditch related books, charms, defense against the dark arts, hmm...should I check this out?

I am quite unsure of the heavy words written on these books, as I have just graduated to the second year. I realize perhaps these heavy books are in fact too heavy a read for me. I try my best making out for some easier book when I stumble upon "Notes For Defence Against The Dark Arts". If I am right, this book is technically an incomplete book, but I head there are all sorts of notes written here that may help with my homework. Well, I guess I can find a way to ace my homeworks now! I slip the book out and get seated at a desk, flipping over some pages hoping to randomly stumble upon some fun jinx or something. As the book was slightly tilted to ease the flipping, something slipped out of it and landed on the floor. My eyes immediately shifted at its direction and realised it seemed like an old, quite crumpled, letter.

A letter? Well shouldn't this be at the owlery? Why is it in this state inside a book?As I pick it up, I could make out that it was something that's quite old, though I couldn't measure as to how old. I realise it was still sealed, and it wasn't addressed to anyone. Quite weird, is it not? I decide to open it, perhaps it seemed the better judgement for my curiosity that seemed hungry to know of its contents. As I unseal it, and remove the folded paper inside I could see it was a carefully written letter sourced anonymously, {by a certain Miss.W} and sent anonymously. I started reading the letter...

Dear player,

If you have found this letter, consider this to be your luck! I am someone you have never met and perhaps, shall never meet. But for now, I am your game master! I invite you cordially to be part of a game that shall have a reward for you if you are to find success.

The reward? I am not going to specify. Let your imagination run wild for a while!

The game, I ensure you, is not dangerous. You don't need to fear loosing a limb or your life in this little game. Trust me, I am a good witch!

Now, dear player, if you wish to proceed in this game, solve the given riddle and find the next clue! Oh, you might wonder, how many clues am I talking about. I ain't spilling that now! You might just have to find out as you play along.

If you wish to proceed, solve this riddle. Else, fold this letter and slip it back inside that book. Are you sure of your decision, dear player? Very Well! Here's your riddle!

I am suffocating inside
it's quite smelly and cold
The ticklish feathers,
might give you a runny nose!

Oh fear not to know,
what color I am,
the first one's death,
reveals the next one's light!

I am not that good of a riddle master, dear player. But I trust you can figure this out. So, until next time.

Yours truly,
Miss W.
