MALLARY

The Mallary family is a French-English, half-blood wizarding family. Ever since the family moved to England many decades ago, they have all attended and graduated Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; a mix consisting mostly of Ravenclaws, but also some Gryffindors. The family values intellect, loyalty, and wit. Although the family used to be pure-bloods, it wasn't until recently that a muggle was chosen to be the next Mallary.

The Mallarys have cared for magical animals of all sorts, and also muggle pets for decades. Not only do the Mallarys have numerous pets, they are also know for "fostering," as the muggles say, animals such as possums, dogs, cats, bats, and many more. Although this has only been quite recent, it has seemed to grow on the family.

If one were to look into records of the Mallarys, they would discover the French name pattern that was up and going until quite recently when they decided to name their next child after a British princess. This was most likely because they migrated to England. Nowadays, the Mallarys are culturally similar to other wizarding families in England but have kept some practices such as teaching their children French and eating baguettes daily.

The exact locations of where the Mallarys live is not something to share, however, it is believed that when they moved to England, they renovated an old shed and turned it into a beautiful manor [☆] on the outskirts of Whitechapel, London. This is known, funnily enough, as 'Mallary Manor.' It is known for its blossoming gardens that welcome guests. As one of the family's most beloved residences, Mallary Manor has been passed down in the family ever since its development. It has always been positioned in front of an aqua lake, as well as tall oak forests. Out the side of the house, the hundreds of animals are positioned, feeding and sleeping. Although most wizarding families have repelling charms for Muggles, the Mallarys believe their mansion is tucked far enough in the hedges that nobody will wander into the property out of curiosity.

Whether he is still alive is a mystery, but even so, Eugéne Blanchet, Paige's grandfather and father's father, was (or is) still the best example of a Ravenclaw in the family. After his time at Hogwarts, it was said that he moved on to work with the dragons. The whereabouts are still unknown. 1949 - unknown

xxxxHer grandmother is Camille Mallary. She is the only Gryffindor in the Mallary family. Camille was the one who inherited Mallary Manor. She is the wealthiest of the Mallarys, but doesn't hesitate to share some of her money with those in need. Camille is now retired, however, after her divorce with (unknown person), she went to work in the Ministry of Magic. Her title was unknown as she preferred not to mention her work life. 1951 - living

Diana Mallary was a brilliant witch during Hogwarts, however, she did tend to break the rules. xxxxTheodore Mallary, or more commonly known as Theo, is Paige's father and first muggle in the family. He fell in love with Diana whilst on a trip to Paris, where she also revealed that she was a witch. Although it took Theodore a while to adjust to this, he still decided to marry Diana. Nowadays, after their divorce, Theo works back with the muggles in his office in Stratford where Paige visits him every second week whilst she isn't at Hogwarts. 1977 - living

He used to be a Professor at Hogwarts who specialised in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Now, however, he is fascinated with learning about history and does so happily at his manor in his own time. Although he was sorted into Slytherin, Paige believes he has more in him than a dark wizard. He has a pet snake named Deuce and has been studying how to understand Parseltongue, yet can't speak it unfortunately. Nate specialises in potion-making and believes that he can one day become the potions professor. 2010 - living
