Myles is usually seen with spiked hair and is usually dyed black or blonde, depending on his mood. His hair covers his eyebrows, and often gets in his green eyes. He applies a thick line of eyeliner around his eyes - the classic punk style. He stands at 5'3", above the average height of others his age. His wardrobe consists of black t-shirts, spiked jackets, and graphic tees.

Myles definitely wasn't an introvert. He often went too far when it came to social events. He is known for his corny jokes and often says them at the most inappropriate of times. He enjoys punk rock and alternative rock, and is often seen wearing a pair of black headphones around at home. During his free time, Myles practices on his guitar. However, he is not the most studious.

Myles grew up with his parents, Billie and May Garrett, in Boston. He has a younger sister named Ada (9), who often stole his musical instruments. They didn't really see eye to eye, so Myles would often avoid her and spend time in his own room listening to rock music. Honestly, he didn't leave his room that often. It was his safe haven. A place nobody would bully him. Bullies were very common to Myles, mostly for his punk style and eyeliner.

The four of them lived in a large house with two stories and a gigantic outdoor pool. At an early age, Myles started guitar lessons, and he performed his first concert in a hotel when he was eight. His parents always saw talent in him.

Myles' first instance of magic happened one afternoon during a concert he was playing at. The speakers were faulty, and the audio wouldn't reach the back of the stadium. He was frustrated, so frustrated he almost smashed his guitar onto the stage. However, just as his friends in his band began to given up, the speakers coincidentally fixed themselves. It all made sense to Myles when he arrived home to find a stained letter.

Myles was never too sporty, but as soon as he was called to Ilvermorny, and saw the broom racers flying past, he knew that was something he would be interested in. Putting his guitar practices aside for 3 days a week to make room for broom racing practice, Myles ensured he would be ready for whatever the races threw at him.
