Having received one of Amanda’s letters, Kaitlyn’s blue eyes sparkled at the invintation to a sleepover on the campgrounds. She had squealed in delight. ‘I guess I may not be as unapproachable as I thought,’ she thought, as she gathered some supplies. A tent, a sleeping bag, and a container of fresh cookies that she made. She brought her bag with her to help her carry everything, and to bring her sketchpad. Just in case. She wanted to get in the habit of bringing it around with her more. She felt so bad when she saw something nice to draw that she couldn’t due to lack of supplies.

After getting ready, the young Slytherin skipped out of her common room and headed for the Hogwarts grounds. So far, Kaitlyn only saw one tent outside, assuming it was Amanda. ‘I hope I’m not too early. Hopefully other students show up, and it’s not just me,’ she thought. With a shrug, she headed over to the one tent, recognizing Amanda inside. “Hi Amanda,” she called out to the Hufflepuff, as she set her supplies on the ground. “Thank you for inviting me,” she continued. She took out the container of her fresh cookies and handed it to Amanda. "Would you like any?" She asked.

"Hey I'm glad you came I'm glad we got to get out of the castle and have some fun outside for a night its amazing out here i was just watching the sun setting" *I take a cookie* "thanks for the cookie .. I brought some board games and the best thing that no camping trip is complete without .. I brought everything needed to make smores" i say happily. "is the any creatures you hope to see tonight?" I ask "I hope to see some mooncalves it's a full moon out tonight and I'd love to see them dance. I hear it's an amazing site to see mooncalves dance under the moonlight .I really hope we get to see I tonight don't you? I know this is definitely going to be a great campout at first I didn't think the headmaster would allow it but I'm really glad he did. what is it you want to do first tonight? we can do some exploring or tell some spooky or regular stories before we gather the stuff to make a fire? I talked to the fat friar today he really knows his way around the castle and gave me some tips on how to avoid peeves."

Paige felt a bit awkward. She hadn't exactly been personally invited to the campout, but instead noticed a few people were going. She decided to tag along. But first, she wanted to ask her boyfriend, Kai, so that she could have a little extra company in case she didn't find the others as amusing as him.

She found Kai and was prepared to ask him. She had never actually been anywhere outside of Hogwarts with him before, so this was going to be a new experience. She waved to get his attention, and he quickly walked over to her. "Hey, so I was thinking..." she began before looking into his green eyes. "There's this campout this weekend and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me?" He grinned before nodding his head, "I'd love to go with you!"

The two of them packed their gear - pillows, sleeping bags, a ginormous tent for the both of them, clothes, marshmallows, the list could go on! It felt like they were packing for months, years even! Several bags were filled up to the rim, mainly with clothes. Paige didn't know how cold it would be, so she decided to pack extra. Probably too much...

The two of them secured their bags, and Kai offered to lend Paige a hand with hers. She blushed and handed him her heaviest piece of luggage. Together, they marched to the campsite, noticing that people had already set their tents up. Paige waved slightly at the girls. She had spoken to them before, but wouldn't consider them proper friends... yet! She hoped to make more friends, being quite lonely herself. "Hello!" she exclaimed, dropping her tent beside theirs. "I hope you don't mind that I brought Kai? This wasn't a girls only night was it?" she chuckled nervously.

with the glow of the sunset. the two girls that were already there stopped talking when they heard some new arrivals coming, and I stood up to greet them

"No, I don't mind. You brought him with you. The more people there are here, the more fun we are going to have on this campout. My name is Amanda, and this is Kaitlyn. I was just asking Kaitlyn if there were any creatures you were hoping to be able to see tonight. I want to be able to see a moon calf. I hope to be able to see them dance under the light of the full moon. I also brought a variety of games for when we feel like playing a game some like gobstones and exploding snap and some I brought with me from home. I also brought stuff to be able to make smores. I personally don't think a camping trip would be complete without making smores. It's always been my favorite part of camping. That and scary stories or just regular stories but I always found camping to be amazing since the first time my parents took me camping. This will definitely be a different experience since there are magical creatures."

Kaitlyn giggled and nodded to Amanda’s statement. “I’m happy too. Aw, the sunsets are amazing … I like to draw them sometimes,” she recounted. “You’re welcome,” she smiled, happily. “Oh, smores are awesome! I cannot wait to make some!” she continued.

Thinking about Amanda’s question, Katie shrugged. “I don’t have a favorite to see … I’ll just be happy to see a creature,” she giggled. Truthfully, she knew next to nothing about magical creatures. “I’d love to see the mooncalves,” she agreed, as she bit into one of her cookies. “How about explore first? I think it’s more exciting to tell scary stories over a camp fire … in the dark,” she suggested.

At the sound of two newcomers, Kaitlyn looked up and saw a girl and a boy that couldn’t be much older than her and Amanda. “H-hi,” she greeted them, shyly. Thankfully, she didn’t need to try talking more, for Amanda and started to talk. She gave a small wave, then Amanda introduced her, thankful her friend talked for her. Her blue eyes dropped to the ground from her anxiety, nodding her head with Amanda’s ideas about what to do for the campout. “All your ideas sound amazing,”[/color she responded quietly to Amanda. She offered the plate with her cookies to the girl and boy.

Paige gently smiled, and waved again to the two girls. "I'm Paige, and this is Kai," she said, pointing to her awkward boyfriend. She could tell he already felt a bit uncomfortable by the fact that he was the only male. Paige took two freshly baked cookies off the plate, and gave one to Kai, biting into the other. She immediately gave them a thumbs up, and devoured the rest of the cookie. "We'd better get setting up," she said, looking at the now-visible moon, "don't want to have to pitch a tent in the dark, heh."

The two of them walked away with a large bag containing the tent. It took around half an hour for them to set up, but afterwards, they were ready to relax. Paige packed a small backpack with jumbo marshmallows, books, jumpers, and a magical candle. Perhaps it would come in handy.

She followed Kai out of the tent, her backpack thrown over her right shoulder, to the main area. "I've brought some extra things," she said, piling her items up on a log. She then took a seat next to Kai on a wooden seat around the campfire, and waited for something interesting to happen. "Scary campfire stories when it gets darker?" she grinned, mischievously. Paige was always the best at telling scary stories, mainly because she believed in the supernatural. However, she had never told a story that wasn't muggle related, so that would probably be a challenge for her.

James is ready for campouts. He loves to be out in nature, breathing in the fresh air. He has all his camp gear ready to pack and ready to go. All he needs to do is to find a place to camp out. So, he got several of his Hogwarts friends from Hufflepuff and spent time with them. So, one of his friends told him about a great place to camp out for the night. One of his friends, Mallory, told him that she always liked to set up a campsite, by the lake that surrounds the castle. So, I told her that I was fine with that. I am willing to go wherever they want to go. So, we went by the lake and camped out. That night, we stayed up until midnight just talking and telling jokes about our families. We all got along with each other like family. The next day, which was Saturday, we all slept in late, it was a great night to camp out, there were no clouds in the sky, and no rain pouring down on us. I had a great time spending time and learning more about some of my fellow badgers. Again, I made several new friends along the way during this night out.
