It was Paige's second year back, and she was more excited than ever. Although she didn't have too many friends at Hogwarts, she was thrilled most of all to start her classes again. Not that she was starting anything new this year, that would all happen in her third year.

The platform was bustling with students, some were accompanied by their parents. The noises were buzzing in Paige's ears. People chattering amongst themselves, the steam from Hogwarts Express, owls hooting, cats meowing. Even though Paige had already done it once before, it didn't feel right walking directly through a wall. It was almost like an illusion. This time, however, she had her cat, Asteroid, with her - a gray mackerel tabby. He was sitting in her cradle-like arms, purring loudly in Paige's newly pierced ears.

All aboard! Paige waited a while for the crowd to shuffle onto the train. She could hear the screeching of shoes on the steps. People pushed each other out of the way in order to get the best seat. Paige stared from the distance. A boy, around her age, with curly blonde locks trudged into the train, and Paige decided to go after him. By this time, most people were already on board the steam train.

It was exactly how she remembered it. Along the corridor, numerous rooms were positioned. Most were already taken, filled with students from all year levels. Paige searched far and wide for a spare room, preferably one that had nobody inside. However, as she was walking, she tripped over something. A foot. Asteroid went flying in the air, hissing as he went, luckily landing on his feet. He fled, escaping the situation. Paige readjusted her circular glasses, taking a look at what she had tripped over. There stood a girl with curly bright orange hair. "I am so sorry," Paige said, fixing the arms of her glasses which had slightly bent during the fall.
