Every year between Christmas and New Year's the LeDames women host a grand ball for a VERY exclusive list of guests, those guests being the French wixen of purest blood. This year Matriarch Genvieve LeDames is opening her daughter's doors to a wider guest list in order to find a suitor for her eldest granddaughter, Emmeline (EmmaLee) LeDames.

All eligible, pure-blood men 13 and older are invited to attend with their families.

While this will be a ball, I am looking for a short-term suitor for EmmaLee for her to meet at this ball. It will involve a betrothal announcement, maybe a couple of "date" threads, and a thread where EmmaLee will break off the betrothal. So if you're interested in that, let me know.

Otherwise, I have fun stuff planned, like party games. :3

- This will be PURE BLOODS only. (EmmaLee's extended family is very elitist and will not consider anything less than pure. I will make an exception if your family BELIEVES they are pure and acts as so, but technically you are not.)
- Purebloods from any school are welcome to attend. (While Genvieve would prefer a French Pureblood match, she does not believe her "runaway heir"'s daughter will bring that favorable of a match, so she is opening the ball to entertain other offers. Every high-status wixen in France would know that the next LeDames Matriarch had been missing for eleven years after running away with Nicholas Insomnieux, another pureblood, then she resurfaced in America married to Victor LaChance, an American.)
- The age of the suitor doesn't really matter to attend the ball, as the LeDames don't care about age gaps, but for the actual betrothal, they have to be between 13 and 17 as EmmaLee will be 3 months from 14 at this point and yeah....
----------The betrothal will not be officially made/announced until both characters are 14. This is more a "meet up and the guardians will talk behind the scenes".
- This is an invitation-only event IC, so it is assumed that your family is at least acquainted with the LeDames, even if you are from outside of France.
- For my sanity, I will accept 10 suitor families plus 10 other guests from France who would have attended other LeDames Christmas Balls. (OOC: Each player character counts as one "Guest" XD)
