The rustling of leaves echoed around the forested area, the soft crunching of Isadora’s feet making contact with the hard earthy terrain seemed calming. As the sounds of the nocturnal life echoed a symphony around her with the soft glow of the village's flames seemed to linger from her vision softly. The moon hung high up in the sky full in contrast as its soft glow lingered down towards the girl slowly breaking through the leaves of the trees.
Isadora knew she was not allowed out late at night especially during full moons, but the young girl was curious and decided to sneak out on this particular night just to explore and investigate the nocturnal life that existed. The girl was full of curiosity that brimmed to the edges. Of course this was not the first time she has snuck out she tended to sneak around at night sometimes with the other village kids just to feel some freedom.
As her footsteps seemed to quicken a bit the young girl continued her little trek the same trek she would take whenever the young girl had trouble sleeping. The forest was always peaceful and had an ambience of mystery and subtle silence besides the night's symphony sung by its orchestra.
With the soft crunch of twigs breaking under the girl's sandal covered feet she seemed to feel safe as the night air caressed her cheek softly as she kept walking aimlessly through the forest pathway. Out of the corner of the young girls sapphire blue eyes a mouse scurried by quickly across the girls path quickly darting underneath a root of a vast tree nearby.
Isadora stepped back slightly startled by the quick dart of a mouse that just scrambled past her. Her heart raced quickly as she placed her right hand across her chest, calming her breathing. The young ten year old near not to be so startled of such a small little prey like that mouse, but it spooked the girl as it darted out of nowhere almost being crushed by the young girls petite feet. A wary sigh escaped the girl's lips surveying her surroundings once more.
Besides the small mouse disturbing the peace of the night Isadora began her journey once more time glancing upwards the path the young girl noticed a dark silhouette of a creature. The young girl froze slightly in her path. At first the young girl's mind seemed to think quickly. The creature seemed large in stature compared to the rather petite girl. First glance she thought the creature was a black bear. It was rare to see one now and then but not unusual on a humid night like this.
As the creature that was a good length away from her arched its head upwards letting out an ear splitting howl that echoed around the forest pathway. Isadora felt her heart pounding in her ears. Her sapphire blue eyes widened like saucers, Isadora stepped back quietly, her foot landing atop of a loose twig a snap resonating among the young girl and the predator that was in front of her.
Sapphire blue eyes meeting the eyes of the creature that stood above the pathway locked. Turning on her heels quickly Isadora bolted through the forest quickly, the wind lashing at her face as she continued to sped down the dirt terrain path. Her heart pounding loudly hearing the thumping of the creatures paws slamming into the ground a game of prey and predator pursuing among them.
Isadora could feel her breathing grow heavy in panic as she glanced over her shoulders, noticing the gap between her and the large canine-like creature slowly closing in between them. Gritting her teeth the young girl tried to speed up her pace as fast as she could. The soft glow of her family's village illuminated her vision. Looking over her shoulder once more Isadora felt her heart drop as the monstrous creature was closer the pungent smell of earth and dirt drifted around her. As if her life depended on it, the young girl let out a blood curdling scream that bounced around the village.
As Isadora continued to sprint quickly as her life depended on it the girl was successful on one thing, hearing the scream of the young girl Luciana and Makaria heard their daughters bloodcurdling scream both mothers burst out of their home quickly searching for the source of the cry for help. From the corner of Luciana’s eyes she noticed the small speck that seemed to grow closer to the village being chased by a rather large canine like creature wand in hand Luciana began to dash towards her daughter with Makaria in tow both mother’s shouting loudly for help gathering the attention of the other villagers.
Isadora kept running, breathing quickly and ragged, looking behind her shoulder a couple times to see how the gap continued to grow closer with each step the creature took. The lanterns of the village glistened dancing in the girls sapphire blue eyes the village was closing in closer but the predator that towered behind her grew closer to the petite girl. Her heart raced quicker, the pounding in her ears blasted around her, the blood drained from her face. Home was right there just a few more sprints she could make it. She was edging closer and closer as the rush voices of the adults sounded closer as well. Everything looked bright but as things looked bright a sharp pain came across the girl's back letting out a sharp scream of pain as knife-like fangs digged into her soft golden skin. Falling over from the sheer shock of pain Isadora toppled over in a ball landing onto the ground face first. While the vast creature retreated as the Villagers chased it off.
Makaria rushed forward towards her petite daughter picking the young girl up as her heart raced the older woman glanced around before rushing off to Sarai's home. If anyone knew how to help during a medical emergency it would be Sarai at least that was what Makaria felt.
As the young woman rushed into her sisters home with Isadora in her arms shouting for the woman tears streaming down her face she saw Sarai rush forwards as the young woman took the girl and began tending to the girls injuries to stop the bleeding and stitching them up.
If special race/ability, how did they join the school?
After Isadora was attacked by the werewolf that turned her the young girl's mother decided to homeschool her for the year instead of her attending Castelbruxo because she was not only a danger to herself but others around her which made the young girl more anxious and insecure. The fear of hurting her family and village always laid heavy on the girl's shoulders; she never felt this unknowing fear until the accident.
As Isadora enjoyed her homeschooling the next school year came around that was allowing special cases to attend as her maman explained it to her and her muma of course both her mothers were enlightened to allow Isadora to attend Castelobruxo it was the girl who was against it she was terrified of being around other people not only that the fear of harming someone laid dormant inside her heart.

“If I tell you my darkness? Will you still look at me Like the moon?”
Isadora Toussaint-Vilaça
History/Background Story: Luciana Vilaça and Makaria Toussaint-Vilaça had everything that they wanted; they lived a happy life in their quaint village within the mountains of Chaîne de la Selle. But their lives were missing something a key part of themselves. As the happy couple wanted more a family of their own they discussed ways and solutions of trying to have a child of their own even discussed adoption at one point in their conversation. As days rushed by then months of going to medical professionals to discuss options a faithful day came by when they were blessed with a donor.
Makaria took this opportunity to carry Luciana and her child. Once nine months had gone by quickly Isadora was born to the happy couple the young girl seemed to have glowing golden skin her light auburn brown hair shimmered in the light while her sapphire blue eyes were doe like and innocent. The wives were thrilled to have their daughter in their grasp; she was a gift chosen for just them.
As Isadora’s first technical year at Castelobruxo was not going as planned,
Makaria Toussaint-Vilaça feared that Isadora was not fitting in very well at Castelbruxo. Along with the upcoming arrival of Sarai Toussaint-Fleischer’s third child. The woman was concerned for her sister as well. While her and her wife Luciana held a discussion the both agreed the best thing was to ask Sarai to watch over Isadora and be her guardian during the school year. While Isadora will also be helping Sarai with simple household chores and with the baby if Tantie needed the help. Makaria spoke to Sarai about their plans once the woman returned home for a little bit. Once everything was set in stone Makaria and Luciana sat down to speak with Isadora. Though Isadora could speak English fairly well besides her strong creole accent. The language was second nature; she had been learning it from a young age like many children in the village. At first Isadora was not fond of the idea of being transferred to Hogwarts. After all, the school seemed to have a fiery history so far for the girl, but she had to admit it would not be a bad idea. She would be close to her family and able to watch over her Tantie and her cousin to be. Not only that she supposed she could make some friends at Hogwarts she did have Matthew Campbell so she was not entirely against the idea of attending Hogwarts. Wary of the idea of course but not against it. The girl knew English so communication was not a problem though her accent may seem hard to understand some days. But of course that was not entirely her problem, at least she could communicate with others and understand the professors. Isadora agreed to the idea of staying with her Tantie Sarai during the school year; it gave the girl a chance to learn more from the woman as well. Of course Isadora would miss her mothers during the school year. She supposed that writing a letter and sending it by owl would be useful. Not only that, a new opportunity seemed to be always knocking the girl supposed she could stay at that dreaded town of Hogsmeade. But then again she did not mind too much because she was closer to at least one of her few friends that the girl had. Hogwarts would be a new adventure while the girl would leave Castelobruxo behind her.
First Instance of Magic: It was a nice humid summer afternoon. Isadora was enjoying her time alone like many young seven year olds. The young girl walked across the forest grounds, her sandals making a soft thudding sound as she worked her way through the windy path ahead of her. The girls like auburn brown hair was pulled back in a ponytail, her loose strands of curls framing her soft golden face with every step she made the more she grew curious. Noticing a medium sized tree nearby the young girl grew a wide smile sprinting over slowly clambering her way up the tree careful to not fall. Of course with the young girls luck she lost her footing half way up slowly falling to the ground closing her sapphire blue eyes. Isadora awaited the shockwave of pain that never came. Opening her eyes the young girl blinked slowly, noticing how she was on the ground unharmed. Tilting her head in confusion the young seven year old shrugged it off as a mere coincidence or luck. She had no idea that her body ended up bouncing slightly like rubber when she had fallen due to her eyes being closed the entire time. Just one of many incidents to come for the young girl.
