Welcome to the "Too Cool for School" Enchanted Exchange!

Embrace the winter chill in the midst of summer with our exciting crafting event, perfect for spreading a little magic and cheer! Whether you’re an expert wand-waver in the arts of crafting or a first-year newbie, this thread is for everyone who loves to create and give.

EVENT OVERVIEW

Sign-Up: To participate, simply sign up by replying to this thread with your name and a link to your ency page. If you don’t have an ency page yet, just add some information about yourself so your secret crafting buddy has some information about you.

Secret Crafting Buddy: After sign-ups close, you’ll be paired with another participant for whom you’ll create a special gift. You’ll receive their name and a little information about them to inspire your crafting. This will be sent by owl to maintain anonymity.

Creation Time: You’ll have almost two weeks to create your gift. This can be anything from handmade cards, artwork, or even a poem. The sky’s the limit – as long as it’s something you’ve made with your own hands (and a bit of magic)!

Gift Delivery: Once your creation is ready, send a picture or a description of your gift to the event moderator (Ruby Night) via owl. We’ll then post all the gifts in a grand reveal thread, ensuring everyone’s creations are seen and appreciated.

Reveal and Appreciation: On the designated reveal day, we’ll unveil all the wonderful creations. Participants can then leave comments, share their appreciation, and celebrate the creativity and generosity of their fellow crafters.

Originality and Effort: Please ensure your creation is original and made by you. The effort and thoughtfulness behind each gift are what make this event special.

Respect and Kindness: This is a friendly and inclusive event. Let’s keep the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect alive in all our interactions.

Have Fun: The goal is to enjoy the process of creating and giving. Don’t stress about perfection – it’s the heart and effort that count!
