Around the world, there are always those trying to create the next best thing, sometimes in solution to a number of problems, at any given time. Ignatia Wildsmith invented Floo Powder, which allows witches and wizards to easily travel between various locations. Merwyn the Malicious created many admittedly unpleasant jinxes and hexes that can be used for one's protection, and Bowman Wright created the Golden Snitch which helps to entertain the whole wizarding world! And yet, even when solutions are found to one problem, or something new is created for entertain purposes, there still remain so many more things to invent. Sometimes the solution for one problem may raise another question or problem.

In order to celebrate Inventor's day in style (yes, it's not officially a day in the UK or Britain, but who needs an official day?), it's time to put your thinking caps on! Choose a magical problem that needs a solution, and create a solution to that problem being as creative as possible! Optional task: Include a diagram of your invention (hand-drawn, or digital art accepted as long as it's your own original work).

Prerequisite: (if any) None
Word Count Requirement: 1000 words, OR 800 words and one diagram of your invention. The diagram must be hand-drawn or created digitally, as long as it is your own original work. You can be as detailed as you like or as simple as you like, as long as it's your own work. Here's an example. (Credit to ThoughtCo.)
