The struggling continued for Hufflepuff, but Ravenclaw continued to dominate. At this point, are all of the benched players even needed? He looked over to his other benched team mates, Ophelia. Hey Ophelia, is this really what you do all game normally? Just sit there? This is my first time being on the bench for this long. On my first game I manged to play for a decent chunk of the game... At least it was not cold like Andy's last game in Febuary.

Stting atop her silver arrow, Charlie watched her team. She spotted Lavinia, their star chaser scoring point after point after point! "Yes Lavinia! Go Ravenclaw!!" She screamed. Charlie was distracted, watching Lavinia score so she didn't see the blunger barreling right at her. The blunger hit her, and she yelped screamed in pain. While screaming, she gripped the handle of her broom tightly mainly because of her major fear of falling off. Luckily, she stayed on the broom and didn't know who hit her. She let herself panic, but weakly centered herself in from of the hoops, praying she could hold on and make more saves. Her thoughts were occupied with not falling so she didn't see Aly, who spotted the snitch.

"Yes Tesla! Perfect! Get them — oh bloody hell, your broom — wait, nice revenge shot!" Tesla's broom shattered under the opposing bludger, but she still managed to absolutely nail the enemy beater with her backbeat. Both beaters plummeting to the ground in mutual destruction, delivering what was undoubtedly the match's most spectacular moment. Without realizing it, Mamori had somehow launched himself off the bench, shouting alongside the crowd like some overzealous fan he'd normally mock. The brilliant beater duel had completely erased his awareness of their team's predictable losing streak, or that only one of his three desperate prayers to whatever deity might be listening had been answered so far. This was exactly what he'd been waiting to see from quidditch — not the defensive & rather tamed gameplay they'd been subjected to earlier, but this raw determination to take down the opposition even with their last breath.

Landon let out a cheer as Atlas was returned to her broom, followed by a gasp as he watched Tesla get knocked off hers. This was yet another rough match for Hufflepuff, but still winnable. If Daphne could find the snitch before getting knocked off her broom they could still win this. Especially if they could stop Ravenclaw from scoring. He felt a familiar worry in his gut as he watched the game unfold.

With Ebony knocked of her broom, Aston joined the game as a beater. He was planning to block Daphne's vision, try to stop her from getting the snitch. Sure they were in the lead right now but if Hufflepuff get the snitch at this point its still over for them. Unfortunately he got distracted. Aston wasn't aware of what was happening, just that he was looking at the Hufflepuff seeker and next thing he knew he ended up by the opposing team's keeper, Atlas Reid. Aston gave his head a shook and got back in the game, determined to not let something like that happen again.

Even if blanching was a bit cool, the Hufflepuff had to pay its price: the dreaded penalty lap. She looked around as the game commenced, her slow speed allowing her to notice that the Ravenclaw seeker had spotted the snitch, that they were way in the lead with points. A foul from the other team that was caught, but they all had a price as they lost two great beaters, while Ravenclaw lost Jorah. Even Stevens. But they were to play and Eugie was finished. Act Two begins now.

This was getting out of hand really really fast, between being punished for thought crimes and Lavinia being the absolute wrecking ball that she was.

While being thrown from her broom was never a pleasant experience, she was thankful that she had been caught before reuniting with the unforgiving ground below. As Jess navigated her back to her broom, Atlas' competitive edge continued to build. She hated being taken temporarily out of play. She knew she would need to quickly get herself back into the game. However, there was a part of her that did appreciate a few moments to breath without a bludger or Ravenclaw player hitting her.

Moving back onto her broom, Atlas immediately adjusted herself and took in the chaos around her. After gaining her bearings, she lowered herself and reclaimed her position. Still fighting with lingering soreness from the earlier bludger, Atlas kept her faith that their team could pull out the win.
