Yeah, follow your heart and I suggest you take some online courses from Coursera, EdX, and sites like that to find out if you are really interested in the subject Some of them cost money, but there are also many free resources! My specific area of Engineering, Environmental Engineering, specifically built environment and sustainable energy, was actually recommended by my dad, and after reading some books and articles related to that area, watching an online course related to that subject, and completing a research project, I found out I am really passionate about that area, and I am excited to study that at Uni!
I just turned 18 this December (my bday is the same day as Rita`s), and suddenly I feel like an adult...
especially in America where the legal drinking age is 21 and the rest of the adult population don't even really consider you as an adult unless you can drink
i mean obviously you don't HAVE to move out as soon as you hit 18 but then you still pay TAXES which contribute to a bunch of stuff you couldn't give a flying fig about

Oh, I had Literature last year but our Literature teacher sadly left the school last July, so in our final year we are required to do research into whatever area we are interested in and submit an 3000-5000 word article by March 1oth, probably preparing us for college-level research. Guess what my research topic is?
