I'm turning 20 in September and it's really hard to wrap my head around that. It feels like I'm still a teen but with a lot more responsibility

Yeah, Rhys, follow your heart and I suggest you take some online courses from Coursera, EdX, and sites like that to find out if you are really interested in the subject Some of them cost money, but there are also many free resources! My specific area of Engineering, Environmental Engineering, specifically built environment and sustainable energy, was actually recommended by my dad, and after reading some books and articles related to that area, watching an online course related to that subject, and completing a research project, I found out I am really passionate about that area, and I am excited to study that at Uni!
I just turned 18 this December (my bday is the same day as Rita`s), and suddenly I feel like an adult...
Yeah, I agree it is hard to guess the age, I still cannot believe Kim is nearly 40...

I think it's wack that you turn 18 and then all of a sudden you're financially responsible to go off on your own and expected to not die

especially in America where the legal drinking age is 21 and the rest of the adult population don't even really consider you as an adult unless you can drink

i mean obviously you don't HAVE to move out as soon as you hit 18 but then you still pay TAXES which contribute to a bunch of stuff you couldn't give a flying fig about

You know, I just finished reading some books by the famous Japanese author Haruki Murakami, specifically the Forest in Norway and 1Q84, the books themselves were brilliant, but they should definitely be rated 18+ since there is excessive mentioning of sex. And when I was reading those books, I get the feeling of "I am 18 now, I can read the adult stuff"

Yeah, I feel old but my brain is like a little kid's hahaha
