He has a short straight brown year with bangs, looks pretty adorable with his piercing green-grey eyes, big ears, and pink thin lips, and has a light complexion. He is sometimes mistaken for a little girl, and he takes it as praise for his cuteness. He often wears comfortable red, brown, and blue clothes when he is not wearing the school robe, because red is his favorite color, as it demonstrates his strong wind.
PERSONALITY
Reducio────────────────────────────Andy is a quite introverted person and is quite shy and nervous when he is in a social situation. However, as soon as he knows someone better, he can be quite talkative and friendly to that person and is willing to share more of his personal feelings with them. Despite being a pureblood, he doesn`t discriminate against half-bloods and muggle-born wizards, as he is taught by his parents that everyone is equal in the wizarding world and should not be judged by looks, blood, race, or sexualities. Besides, he is a small boy with a strong will. He is willing to fight against injustice and does not dare to risk his life when it comes to saving his friends and other people he cares about. He dreams to become an Auror in the Ministry of Magic (By Ministry of Magic, I mean the American Magical Congress which has the same function as the British ministry of magic, and all the Ministry of Magic below means the same) just like his dad. By the way, his mbti personality type is INFP.

ReducioAndy is born on September 9th, 2009, in Los Angeles, California, America, to Bruce Menton, a pureblood Auror in the American Ministry of magic, and Alice Menton (Birth name Alice Sapphirus), another pureblood wizard. He is the only child in the family, so he is well-educated and loved by both of his parents and has a happy and comfortable childhood. He has a younger cousin on his mother`s side from Hogwarts called @Daphne Sapphirus, because his mother Alice is the younger sister of Daphne`s father Graham Sapphirus, who later married a veela called Lexia Sapphirus. The reason why Andy`s mother Alice attended Ilvermorny instead of Hogwarts like her elder brother, Andy`s uncle and Daphne`s dad Graham, is that Alice`s and Graham`s paternal grandparents live in UK and their maternal grandparents live in US due to marriage and migration. Andy actually doesn`t care much about blood status despite being a pureblood who is usually seen as "snobby", and he does not discriminate her younger cousin being part-veela.
Due to his blood status, Andy is home-schooled by his parents before he turns 11, and his parents told him he should never be proud of his pureblood and treat other wizards nicely regardless of their blood.
His first experience of underaged magic was on his 7th birthday when his parents cooked a birthday cake for him, put the seven candles on, and put the cake on the table to celebrate his birthday party. They lit up the candles, sang the birthday song, and as soon as Andy put his face closer to the candles and opened his mouth to blow the candles out, the cake was cut into several pieces automatically. Andy was a bit confused by that, but his parents were glad, and told him, "Dear, that is a sign that you are a wizard just like us, and as soon as you turn 11, you will go to Ilvermorny just like us, where you can learn about magic and make new friends." He was always eager to turn 11 from that day, and on his 11th birthday in September 2020, he received a letter from Ilvermorny by an owl, as expected. He went to the school next September and was sorted to Thunderbird. By no, he has made a few friends and is gradually trying to overcome his shyness by interacting with people.

Andy is definitely considered pretty for his age. With his straight brown ear with bangs, piercing green-grey eyes, pink lips, and clean white face, he looks extremely adorable and is sometimes mistaken for a little girl by others when his parents took him out for a walk on the streets, but he generally doesn`t mind and take it as a praise for his cuteness. His father Bruce takes pride in his charming look, saying his son inherited it from him since he is known for being a handsome Auror in the American Ministry of Magic, and often takes Andy to the ministry to meet other Aurors to show off how pretty his son was. As an introverted boy, he is extremely shy when he meets his father`s colleagues, but he also takes pride in his look and is glad that he inherited it from his father.
However, his charm does not only include his look. Some people may be considered good-looking but are not considered charming. Although being an introverted and shy boy, he looks at the person with his piercing green-grey eyes when he is truly interested in the person. The person can tell he is interested in what they are talking about. Besides, as long as he gets to know a person better, he treats that person nicely, always tries his best to help that person when they are in need and does not discriminate against people according to their race, gender, and blood. He also tries his best to overcome his shyness by trying to interact with different people and make new friends with people around his school and other magic schools. He also tries to balance out the masculine and feminine sides of his personality, such as being serious and strong at times, such as when it comes to trying to help and save other people, but he also has an innocent and vulnerable look to make people take pity on him. He can act as a natural leader sometimes, but he does not seem proud of his leading position and does not seem to be bossy to people by always telling people what to do. Since a young age, Andy has developed a habit of caring for others and putting other people`s needs before his. His parents have told him that even though he is a pure-blood wizard with a dad who is an Auror in the American Magical Congress, he should never discriminate against other wizards and muggles that have different statuses and backgrounds from his. Instead, he should care for other people, try to help them when they are in need, and not be afraid of risking his life when it comes to helping people in need, whether they are related to him, or are complete strangers to him. Andy`s parents` decent education of him turned him into a small boy with a strong will and a kind heart, who is not afraid of difficulties, always reaches out his hand to help others, and is not afraid of risking his life to help when other wizards and muggles find themselves in difficulties and need for help.
There are loads of examples of Andy trying his best to help others in need, such as trying to heal his friends when they accidentally hurt themselves or feel sick by buying some medicine or quickly sending them to the hospital. One example of him trying to help others happened one-afternoon last year when he was walking back to his dorm with his friend after finishing his homework in the library. Unfortunately, they are chatting delightfully so his friend did not pay much attention to the road and accidentally fell and hurt his knees. At that time, most of the people at school are enjoying dinner or spending some time outside or in their dorm room, so there were not a lot of people on the street, and no one noticed them when this event happened. Andy did not bring any personal medicine with him, so he just took some water to clean the wounds from the nearby tap, and quickly took him to the school hospital to let the doctors there use some healing magic on the sound to let the wound heal. Luckily, the doctor was a quick healer, so they healed the wound quickly by magic immediately, just in a matter of seconds after Andy sent his friends to the hospital. The doctor also praised Andy for taking his friend to the hospital quickly before things might get worse. That small incident proves that Andy is a warm-hearted and thoughtful boy who is not afraid to help others in need and tries to heal people when they are sick or hurt themselves. (427 words)

Andy might be seen as a boy that is kind of shy, but that does not stop him from having a lion`s heart, and that is probably the reason he was sorted into Thunderbird when he first joined the school Ilvermorny. This soon-to-be 14-year-old little boy dares to do anything to achieve his goals and help those people in need to get out of danger. Whether it is something small like risking to break some small school rules to save some classmates from getting hurt or prevent the school property from being damaged by, say, fires, or it is something giant like risking his life to save his friends and family in need, he is always there to do that.
Probably one of the best examples that illustrates Andy having a lion`s heart is when he dares to risk his life to take part in the extremely risky hex-wizard tournament, although currently being put on the wait list. As a pureblood kid, Andy has heard of the risks of the early versions of this tournament, particularly with the infamous death of Cedric Diggory in the late 1990s. Quite obviously, when Andy told his parents about Ilvermorny going to take part in another hex-wizard tournament with other schools in that magical school in Scotland called Hogwarts, his parents was afraid of that tournament and advised their only son not to participate in that tournament since obviously, his parents did not want to lose their only son from that risky tournament, even think about the existence of that possibility is risky enough for his parents to prevent their only son from participating in that tournament, however small that possibility is. At first, Andy himself was also somewhat afraid of that tournament since he also did not want to risk his own life on a single tournament. Afterall, he is only 13 years old, and there is still a long way to go in his life. After a careful thinking, however, he decided that bringing back the glory of Ilvermorny and becoming Ilvermorny`s pride was probably more important of risking his own life. Therefore, without informing his parents, he secretly signed up for the tournament and now had his name listed on the waitlist for the Ilvermorny`s Hex-wizard team. When Andy`s parents later did find out their son had signed up for the tournament, they of course were a bit furious at the beginning for their son`s decision to risk his life for a single tournament. However, when Andy later convinced their parents that he was doing this for Ilvermorny`s glory, his parents gradually began to understand their son`s firm determination and began to cheer for their son as his parents were once students at Ilvermorny as well.
