I am trying to join the sites discord server but I don’t understand how to do it. I don’t have the downloaded version but the link from this page won’t allow me to do it without downloading the app. Is there a place I can find help with this? Thanks!!

I can help you out!

Copy the invite link, or the url from that page. Once in your Discord browser, there should be a plus button on the left, in which to add servers. Click “Join Server,” at the bottom of the pop up, and paste in the link to the box that says “Invite Link,” from there, you should be able to join the server.

If you're joining on the phone/mobile device, you will need to have the app. I do not know about ipads, as I don't use discord on one, but I assume the dimensions are large enough to allow it to be open in a webpage rather than mandating an app, but it's also a mobile device so.. lol.

If joining on the computer, there is a website (which I use) and the app (which I know plenty use). If you have the app downloaded, the invite will open in the app rather than the website. Just click accept, and it will put you in the server.

We cannot really control how a discord link opens, all we can control is whether the link is a valid link or not.

It shouldn't be a problem or secret, so yes! Especially those who grew in the wizarding world :)

Actually, I join fron the web browser on my phone. I'm just faster than the time it takes for the log in button to realize it's web

FAQ — Questions
Hi! Bit lost since i seemed to have missed a lot. I noticed you can now make inpc accounts. How does this work? Must the inpc be approved before making the account? Or do we just register the account and make note somewhere that it is an inpc? Additionally, I noticed the transfer system. I was wondering if it was possible if we could use an old character as ours as our inpc if we dont have an inpc registered? For example, could I use Reena Delgado as an INPC and say she transferred schools? I'm very confused and curious.
Thanks!

Basically, if you don't have a pre-existing iNPC, it will be approved. Same for already existing ones too. How this works is you post in this thread with the outline it provides. Eventually, your application will be approved by a staff member. Once it is approved, you will create your account, but make sure to specify you PC name, iNPC name, and iNPC school in the area you will put their info. You also must have your PC's name in the signature of your iNPC. Once you have done this, you register like normal. Make sure to still put in both mental and physical descriptions as well as the history and FIOM. If you iNPC is just being created, this process will take the normal amount of time it takes to register your first ever account. Once you have been validated, you're all good to go except for one thing. You must post with a form in the school your iNPC will be in, so spells and potions can be added, as well as the necessary permissions that need to be given. Also, make sure to have both your PC's and iNPC's names in your PC's signature, so everyone knows who is who.
