We are happy to announce that @Cassius Eden will be taking over for @Delilah Stewart, a tenured duelling moderator for the Ravenclaw Team. Hello everyone! The first stage of the new duelling season is almost upon us, and this year we are doing 3 vs 3 duels!
Stage 1 is set to start between the 30th-31st of October. The new patch information should be out within the week. Trunks and Rosters will lock October 28th so please have your new spells and abilities ready by then! Remember that there can be a delay in getting spells added so please apply as soon as possible! Pairs/Matches will be announced on the 29th, using the new pairing system described by Lear here. Because of this new system, which is intended to be as fair as possible, there will be no team-switching once pairings are announced.
More information about the new pairing system, 3 vs 3 duels, and some new balance changes, will be coming soon. But we wanted you to be able to get a head start on getting your spells/abilities before the season begins.

Quidditch - Fall Games
Fall Games are up for quidditch. Quidditch being one of the most violent sports in the wizarding world, with bat-wielding beaters and enchanted leads balls (bludgers), quidditch was designed for its violence. This isn't even one-on-one violence like a boxing match; it's an inanimate object verses a human being and the crowd.
Feel free to bring your character and cheer your favorite team on. Please be aware that spectators cannot directly influence the game but their shenanigans can be noticed (as long as they do not effect the game itself) and you are able to monitor the action of the quidditch game in this spectators thread.
Quidditch Players - please be aware of deadlines. You have exactly 5 days (down to the hour) from the mod post to post in the game. If you fail to post within this time period, your action(s) will be post. Multiple missed rounds of posting can place your position on the team in jeopardy. Due to the varied nature of deadlines (as the mods do not post at the same time), the mod team will not be able to individually remind you or your team but if your captain or teammate does happen to notice that you are approaching a deadline for posting, they may reach out. It is recommended that you set up a personal reminder or alarm if you fear that you will loose track of time. If you have time constraints, such as a busy workweek, it may prove beneficial for you to prepare and save your post to drafts so that you can simply find a minute of time to post your completed draft.

Broom Racing Patch
Broom Racing has a few new patches. There have been clarifications on the effect of Ashwinder Eggs, the term woods and forest as well as the order of operations. Further, we have added two abilities to broom racing: Death Defiance and Rapid Reviver. More information can be found in Project Announcements.
