Pettely Knots wrote: 11 Jan 2025, 00:55 I am terribly sorry for posting a lot on this category for no reason, but ummm... anyway, I see people with like 2000 posts when they are in only first year on this site. How? Do these people post that often? And are they actually that active? Or are there ai on hogwarts.io that is designed to post a lot and interact with human beings? I am not trying to be rude at all to people that posts and is very active on this site, I think it's great that people get really attached to this website RPing and interacting with other human beings instead of spending all their times watching brain-dead social media. But still, 2000 posts in first-year is kinda mind blowing to me, is there an explanation for people with that many posts?

again, not insulting, just curious.

I am sure that we don't have bots here. We also have a team to filter anyone who sign up to this site, making sure that everyone is a human. Your doubt is understandable but we have ooc forum, including the games one which is usually very crowded. People can post short there. Some of the games even just need a letter or two. Not to mention that some people being competitive in games forum, making them have a rapid increase in the post numbers.

So rest asured. In here, you are interacting with humans.

FAQ — Questions
Hi, just wondering if there is somewhere you can study with other students? Like actually help each other with homework, not just rp that. Or would that be considered cheating? (Obviously not telling each other answers but maybe just discussing, ect) Thanks!

Hi Lousia, as it stand OOC HW does not require studying or discussing hw mainly for two reasons.
- All your answers for questions are in your specific lecture itself, if otherwise, it is stated in lecture.
- Homework is kept anonymous to make sure there's no bias or allegations of bias. This in turn with no sharing of answers results in organic original answers from different users from what is essentially the same resources provided to everyone. I strongly encourage to read your lectures if you're having a hard time or are confused at something, there's FAQ sections for all subjects too where either Professor themselves or a student answers your queries and helps you know the general direction you should be going.
- Discussing that answer not only risks taking away that anonymity but also makes everyone answering it be tunnel visioned as thinking of what they discussed being the only right answer.

Tldr: In end, HW is just another part of Hio experience and need not be taken too seriously. Try posting in FAQ sections of those classes if you're stuck

Lyanna Oak wrote: 11 Jan 2025, 01:10 Hi guys, I've actually got a question too!

How do O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s axtually work on hio? I've never really heard anything about that and only seen it on my report card so far, is there already an explaining thread?

Thanks!
Like how you get access to the next year's homework once you graduate the previous year, OWLs become accessible when you reach your 5th year. You would complete them like any other homework on site, and the NEWTs would be the same (only completed in your 7th year). The previous lessons are still accessible so you can reference them for any information that might pop up in your OWLs or NEWTs.

Completing them and doing well in them allow you to access certain career options for when your PC graduates, like Emily said. Which career paths require OWLs or NEWTs can be found here. Hope this helps!
Oh ok thanks!

FAQ — Questions
Hello there! I have a quick question to ask and this is the first thread I saw.
So basically, what is the time interval between the appearance of one every flavor bean to another? It has been quite hard keeping a track of them without knowing when they are supposed to appear.
Another question, after how many minutes do they disappear?

They move to a new location every six hours.

They disappear for two reasons: 1) you didn’t collect it during the six hours ir was there, or 2) you clicked on it to collect it.

If you want to figure out at what times these beans appear, find out what time it is for your time zone when France has its midnight, 6am, noon and 6pm)
