The Beast Master ability is currently only for RP flavour. It might be useful for moderated threads like balls and summer camp activities where dice rolls are done and you want to use your pet's action for something, but otherwise they have little (if any) use in sports.

Hi! I've been inactive on the site for like two years or so now, and I was recently reintroduced by a friend. (thankfully I still had my login saved haha!

) Anyways, I was wondering, I wanted to reindex but the thing is I never really got around to using this character, as in I never actually roleplayed with her. So, would I be able to reindex and just push her birth year back like she's always been a first year? I really don't want her to be held back and it would be hard to write up a reason why especially since she never got the chance to be used much less developed. So could I do that or would I have to deactivate and make a new character?

As you never roleplayed at Hogwarts last year, that should be fine!

Do we have any stats about owl flight speeds? Obviously school owls would be slower, but is there like… 100 miles per hour type thing? I was wondering how long a letter would take to get from Hogwarts to Mahou and vice versa

hi hi, Eonaria! Most of the info, would be in your welcome letter, where Harry Potyer graduated in 1998, so 26 years? because the present year is 2024, the year we are in. Experienced people, please, please correct me if I'm wrong or would like to add!

I'm not experienced but I do know where to find the backstory!

There are two places you can find the backstory. The first is found in the encyclopedia in the area titled context. The other (much easier) way is to pop down to the ground floor where there is an area titled timeline. That shows the entire main story timeline of this RP up until about 2 years ago. Not updated I guess.

Hello Eonaria, the backstory of HiO can be found in the Timeline section of the dropdown. There, you can find links to most of the Main Story we used to run consistently. HiO is set to real-life, modern time, so it is currently 2024 (almost 2025), a few decades after Harry Potter's story.
