Yes!" June watched her spell aim true, pulling Bloom backwards. If only she could do the same to Paige...

Never mind, the young Ravenclaw racer was now lying on the ground, unconscious. June heard a thud behind her. Uh-oh. Turning her head around, she found the youngest basilisk also collapsed on the ground.

Dropping like flies, they were. Hopefully this wouldn't turn out as bad as June's second race. No, it couldn't. It wouldn't.

Frustration made its way into Ari's mind to accompany the worry. Just as his wand has done the work of lifting Paige, the next spell he cast didn't follow through. He wasn't happy with that, but maybe the worry was affecting his concentration. And it affected him enough to be blinded by the light (an event that brought to mind the popular muggle song by Manfred Mann's Earth Band).

His eyes took a moment to readjust as he flew through a patch of heat, causing sweat to begin to appear beneath his long spiky black hair. These next obstacles would prove to be a challenge, and with as much as Slytherin was doing to hold back Bloom, that worry that was growing grew even more. He hoped she'd be okay as he kept his eyes steeled ahead.

Bloom felt like she was zooming easily through the units when all of a sudden, she felt herself holding back. But how could that be so? She then realized that it wasn't on her own, someone else was holding her back and she saw herself go back three units and an opponent get ahead of her. And not only that, she got hurt as well.

ABILITIES: Lovely Creature & Muggle Condition

She was in the lead, but the lead meant nothing for her team given she was only inches from passing out. She just had to keep on racing, and not let it get to her, and hope that her team continued to do their job and knock out the other players. Colin seemed to be doing well at that, she would’ve noted if she had turned around to see his violent racing style.

As she continued to fly through the race, she couldn’t help but wonder how much farther was left, and if she would even make it to the end conscious. She may have been in the lead for the moment, but in a broom race you had to know to stay on your toes.

----Ahnd once more, Vale feels the familiar taste of dirt in her mouth. She rubbed her head, gravely confused. First, she was flying at grand speeds, and now she wasn't. Maybe she was suffering a heat stroke. That is not very good, at least not in this moment.

whoa.. what was that... Bright, too bright to her liking, illuminating her eyes like a phone with full brightness in the middle of a dark bedroom. There’s nothing like the wind in your hair as you go top speed on a broomstick. Wyatt was in that moment, and he felt himself speeding through the race until all of a sudden, he was trudging along at an excruciatingly slow pace. Slowness, he thought, might have been the worst thing he’d faced in a match. Even arrows to the back and falling from insane heights were less painful than this. Ah well. Onward!
