Why do you want to be a mentor?: Well, both IC and OOC, I love to help out people who have a hard time and struggle. When I first joined the site, I was incredibly shy and was scared that people would judge me for threads. I didn't even know that there was a mentorship program and I basically figured everything out on my own. By becoming a mentor, I can make sure that people don't have to figure things out on their own and will have a reliable person for help the moment they need it.

I remember how confusing can be those first days at the site, it is very well organised but for someone that just arrives it's easy to feel lost and not know where to start. It's my normal attitude to try to help and share the knowledge I have, even if it's not much I always try to find ways to give adequate answers and information. So as I'm grateful for those who always helped me now I feel that it's my turn to help others finding their way through Hio.

why do you want to be a mentor. Having amassed some experience on site, I
ve decided that I want to do something with it. I often see newbies struggling to learn the ropes (especially character setup and the ency business, that's always tough) and I want to guide them, and make their experience more enjoyable.

Why do you want to be a mentor? As a successful graduate of the mentorship program when I was new, I know how valuable the program is. Hio is an amazingly complex environment and knowing that someone is available to answer questions and provide guidance was a key to success. One of the things I loved best when I first started is how active and helpful so many of the staff and students are towards new members.
