Small request: Would it be possible to change Mila's residence from Bristol to Durham? This is because Bristol does not go with Mila being related to Emery and her mother's job. I did not realise this before, as I don't know a lot about the geography of the UK.

Seers weren't uncommon on her father's side of the family, with two of her cousins having inherited the special ability. The rumour of a powerful seer in the Woodland family had been going around for generations. However, most considered it a fun bedtime story for children and did not think it was true. In the stories, the woman's abilities had been greatly exaggerated but still, the tales contained a bit of the truth. Mila's dad, Charlie, only believed the stories when his sister informed him that her eldest daughter, Addison turned out to be a seer. A couple of years later, the family learned that one of the twins, Emery, was a seer as well. While the eldest daughter of her aunt used her gift to advance her career, Emery tried to avoid using her power. They studied hard and ended up becoming a nurse, even working at Hogwarts for a little before having to return home to take care of their sick mother.
Despite the obvious presence of the gene in their family, Mila's parents never seriously considered it a possibility for one of their children to be a seer. Being a muggle herself, Mila's mother knew nothing about the magical world, let alone anything about seers. However, her husband explained that the chance one of their children would become one was very small. They might be carriers but the chance that they inherited a recessive seer gene from their muggle mother was small. However, unbeknownst to anyone, the gene had persisted through multiple generations of muggles for almost a century. The last wizards that her mother was directly related to lived around 120 years ago. The couple, consisting of a young seer and his wife, gave birth to their third child fully expecting the girl to be magical as well. Too preoccupied with their other children, they only realized their daughter was a squib after years. The young girl had tried her best to hide it, filled with shame, which continued to haunt her for the rest of her life. As a young adult, she decided to move to a different country, leaving her magical past behind, and ended up marrying a muggle man. Much happier with her new life, she never spoke about the magical world to anyone. After a couple of years, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Mila's great-grandfather.
Even though Mila is still unaware of her special talents, she won't be disappointed when she learns about them. Growing up, she has always looked up to her older cousin. Unlike Emery, Mila thought being a seer was super cool and loved her cousin's white hair. Emery had always thought Mila was an adorable kid but after one of their seeings, Emery spent even more time with the young girl at family events. In the vision, it had seemed that Mila's hair had turned white. Emery had never been the strongest seer and they often struggled to remember the whole vision, so they didn't share what they had seen with the family. Still, Emery made sure to look out for Mila, just in case it turned out to be true. Their shared love for nature made it easy for the two to get along. Mila herself didn't notice much about her powers yet. She still thinks that the strong intuition she has is nothing more than luck and fast reflexes.

On the 11th of November 2012, Colby and Dario met their baby sister for the first time. The boys, 7 and 9 at the time, hadn't expected to get another sibling at all and neither had their parents. Despite coming as a bit of a surprise, Mila was incredibly loved by her parents Davina and Charlie Woodland. The rest of the family, from her grandparents in Colombia to her cousin Emery Featherstone, were all very glad to have the new addition to their family. Most of the family on her mother's side lived in Colombia since that's where Davina grew up. Many years ago, Mila's mother had left Colombia to start her studies in England. At the end of her master's degree, Davina fell in love with a charming young man with the most infectious smile. Her knowledge about the English man named Charlie was minuscule but enough to spark her interest. Over time they started dating and the relationship got serious enough for Charlie to share a big secret he had been keeping. At first, Davina, who believed in science and facts, refused to believe that her boyfriend was a wizard. In the end, she managed to wrap her head around this news and accepted the truth. Despite the differences in their worlds, the two got married and started a family together. Most of Charlie's family welcomed Davina with open arms, only his grandparents had a bit of trouble accepting he was marrying a muggle woman. With the help of his sister and her family (Featherstone), Charlie manage to convince his grandparents to be more open-minded and give Davina a chance. From that point on, the whole family was a great support to the newlyweds who soon would welcome their first child.
Growing up, Mila was mostly exposed to the muggle world. Going to a muggle school led to her having mostly muggle friends and interests. Through her mother, she had even more connections to the muggle world, which is how Mila met one of her closest friends. Davina had been working together with Andi's mother over the past years, leading to the two children growing up together and becoming super close. There is a slight age gap between the two girls, but it was smaller than that with Mila's brothers. As her brothers grew up, they went to Hogwarts and their house would slowly become filled with magical items. Their father had limited his use of magic to allow his wife access to electronics for her job at the university, As time passed and their oldest son became an adult, Davina would move her work outside of the house so magic could be used more often. While her brothers were at Hogwarts, Mila loved joining her mother on her trips to nature reservoirs for her work. During those long weekends, she would learn all about the nature in the area where they were staying.

Everyone in her family had been looking forward to the first signs that Mila was magical, except for her mom. Davina found the idea of a child not knowing how to control their magical powers terrifying. One of her brothers had managed to create a small fire when he was younger and furious that he wasn't allowed to have a slice of cake, so the fear made sense. However, much unlike her oldest brother's FIOM, Mila's actually protected herself. Being a curious little 5-year-old, Mila had taken it upon herself to follow the little bug that flew by her as she was playing in the garden. The small creature zoomed passed her and landed on the big tree in the middle of their yard. Mila's tiny legs carried her to the tree as fast as they could. Standing on the tips of her toes, she tried to get a better look at the bug but it was too far up. Determined to get a better look at the animal, the little girl started to climb the tree. Her focus had been aimed at the bug, so she could make sure it wouldn't fly away, and was lacking where it needed to be; her climbing. As she reached for the next branch, the animal flew away again and her attention was completely gone. Her heart started beating faster as fear filled her body. She could feel her feet start to slip away and could only think of how much it would hurt to fall from that high. Before she realized what had happened, her fall had turned into floating and she landed safely on the ground. Dario, who had been reading outside, had heard his sister scream in fear and hurried towards her, only to see the little girl grin widely. She just did magic for the first time!

Character Backstory: Lev’s family is huge. He has 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 2 parents, both whom are muggles. Lev’s childhood was relatively normal. Sure, sometimes weird stuff happened around the boy but it was always chalked off to coincidences or simply a trick of the mind. Other than that, Lev was a cheerful and sunny boy, who easily made friends. His family was loving and kind and cared immensely for the young boy. Lev’s parents weren’t perfect, of course, but they always tried their best and even though his siblings could sometimes be annoying, when the time came they all cared deeply for each other.
It was on a warm and humid summer day that Lev got his scars. He was only 8. His parents didn’t watch him much since they had his younger siblings to take care of. That meant Lev could do whatever he wanted, so he took the opportunity to go bike riding with his friends. He and his friends had a particular hobby that they loved: exploring abandoned buildings. And that was what they did on that day: explore a large wooden house that had been inhabited for a while. A mysterious fire had started and when Lev had gotten stuck, his friends had abandoned him and left him to his doom(today, Lev didn’t really blame them anymore. They had been scared. Lev knew he would have done the same). He had eventually managed to escape but not with scars both physical and mental.
Lev was never the same after that day. He had always been slightly anxious but this was the turning point. He started isolating himself and became more and more withdrawn. The same thoughts plagued his mind: who had started that fire? And why? After multiple years of the same paranoia and fear, Lev’s parents realized that this new personality was here to stay and that their old son was well and truly gone.
That was why they were incredibly surprised when a wizard came knocking on their door. He explained that everything about the wizarding world and how Lev was apart of it. They didn’t believe it at first and even when they did, they were somehow reluctant to send their fragile son to such a place. But eventually, after much discussion, his parents realized that perhaps it would be good for Lev. Help him finally get out of the carefully crafted cocoon he’d built around himself.
First Instance of Magic: Lev was 6 when he first experienced magic. His whole family had taken a trip to the beach. As Lev was splashing around in the waves with his older brothers, he suddenly got pulled away by a strong current. He could still see the heads of his brothers in the distance, but the space between them was much too large. Lev started to panic. His feet couldn’t touched the ground and as he tried making his way back to the beach, wave after wave after wave smashed down onto him, filling his nose with salty water.
Lev genuinely thought he was about to die. His lungs were burning and he simply couldn’t hold on anymore. The boy inhaled, but instead of water filling his mouth it was clean and delicious air. He greedily took it in and then opened his eyes to see a strange bubble around his mouth. Confused, he tried touching it, but he suddenly felt two strong arms around him and his brother took him out of the water, hugging him tightly to his chest. The bubble was gone as quickly as it had came. When he got older, Lev still didn’t understand what had happened. Eventually, he’d simply made himself believe that he’d misremembered.

STATUS: Pending, Sereia, July 15
Your final paragraph regarding what happened in your FIOM is very unclear; it seems like Lev teleported back onto the shore, which is not allowed since we don't classify teleportation/apparition as an instance of magic. Please clarify what is happening.
STATUS: Pending, Sereia, July 16
Please do not remove these pending notes from staff as they are important for our records.
I don't see anything magical about a stingray suddenly popping up from underneath you and bringing you back to the shore. There is no spell that would alert animals of danger aside from sparks charms (which Lev hasn't presented and would probably scare them first) or compel them to save someone. Please read this page to see what qualifies as first instances of magic: Character Creation Assistance. Please remember to put your FIOM in your encyclopedia.

Describe why this fits your character:
This night held quite the challenge for the young DeSantis. It was a quiet night, save for the occasional sound of a wave splash, and yet Viviana couldn’t sleep. It wasn’t that this was an uncomfortable night, quite the opposite actually, today was part of the month she would be spending on vacation with her parents and siblings. They were housed on a beach in Venice, with the lapping waves ahead of them and relaxing surroundings, that drowned out any ounce of worry.
Viv decided to get up out of her bed, perhaps she could relax on the shore, watch the sky maybe? She’d find out on the way. With pajamas on and a sneaky stance she slunk away and out the front door, looking around for her parents before moving onto the beach to chill. Of course, she sat in a chair so that the sand wouldn’t ruin her pajamas, it was a success, and yet, she wasn’t out of the water yet.
The night was quiet, exactly as it should be, and yet that quiet began to feel less luxurious and more unsettling… Viviana took a moment to pause and then look around, nobody would hurt her, right? This was a safe place, no dangers would lurk among the DeSantis’ lodging! It just didn’t make sense, sure enough, as time went on the unsettling atmosphere got thicker, feeling more sinister… dangerous… imminent…
She was grabbed!
Sharp nails held onto her, reinforcing the grip that subdued her, directly after, she felt a sharp pinch in her carotid arteries, the pain was intense, and was nothing compared to the feeling of being drained. She struggled and called for help, waiting on a response….. any response! Please…. She was losing a lot of blood, and her mind wasn’t able to focus… it felt cold…did it? With less blood being able to carry enough oxygen, thoughts were harder to form. It was almost guaranteed that this would be the end
She was almost ready to close her eyes, with fighting becoming more difficult, yet a bright light shone like a beacon, everything around her shone from the fine point of a wand, and though she was too shocked to hear what was actually yelled the vampire surely knew what is was and it’s weakness to light based spells caused it to reel back. trying to avoid the damaging flash, it let go immediately, cowering in fear at the luminescence. As soon as the save happened, it was over, the vampire (in a weakened state) made its escape, with some of its blood hitting Viviana’s face, survival wasn’t guaranteed. Viviana rested there, dead and not all at once. Her skin turned a pale grey, her eyes remaining green but the grey became accentuated, her lips were more red than before and her upper canines fell out almost immediately, Viv weakly spitting them out, as to not choke and then licking her lips that some of the vampires blood happened to hit. It was unfortunate that her family had to see her in this condition, but she was still kicking, even if she happened to appear dead. Despite her survival however, she was weak and soon had passed out.
She awoke again, her body aching from the rapid physical changes that she underwent, she woke up in her bed, with her brothers keeping a close, hawk-like stare at her. It was all a bad dream, right? The gaps in her teeth said otherwise… she stirred to signal that she was alive. Like reflex, her brothers came over and showered her with relieved affection. Doting on her like never before. Her parents came soon after to console her, after which they lightly scolded her for doing something so dangerous.
Viviana had gained a lesson that day, her status didn’t make her invincible, and yet it wasn’t like the lessons she read in books, quite the opposite really, her curse would not be lifted, she would be stuck like this forever, and eventually she’d have to go back to Birmingham forever changed.

Biography:
Reducio
Physical Description: Viviana is a squat, pale-olive skinned girl of about 11 years. She possesses large ,greyish-green, eyes with a striking stare gifted to her by her father. Housed in the middle of her face is a pointy, be-speckled nose and atop her head is brunette wavy hair that she takes care of herself, taking great pride in it. She has a noticeable Italian accent that comes from it being her first language and the primary one she uses with family. Some say her voice is somewhat melodic no matter the mood she’s in, being higher in pitch with fluctuations in tone.
Mental Description: Viviana, much like her name would suggest, is lively, but only lively around those she loves and those she dislikes, anyone who is “ambiguous” to her usually isn’t paid much attention, like side characters to her. once you do befriend her she can really start to live up to her name, being very playful and silly, in some cases she won’t even shut up.
Biography: Born in Sardinia circa 2012, Viviana was brought into the world by a fairly well-off family, living in a household with her mother’s parents, mother, father, uncle and 2 older brothers. The family crammed in together when they moved to Birmingham with their money. Viv’s father and uncle were men of opportunity, and decided that they would both move up the social ladder in the British ministry to get high paying jobs to continue providing (It was their belief that England would be a hotspot for moneymaking) and so Viviana and her siblings would have to assimilate in this new country while the guys worked their magic.Viviana was very close to her father but due to the change, her father would be working extra hours to prove himself useful, meaning Vi would see him less and less. She did have other family at home of course, but her father was incredibly important to her, they were extremely close, having spent a lot of important memories together. And now here she is, at the present day, Attending Hogwarts with less than joyous expectations about her future. An average day in Viviana’s life usually consisted of time spent inside the house, she would read books, mess with her brothers and gossip with her mom about little things she heard. She typically didn’t have much to worry about until her Dhampirism, the family tried keeping it a secret from Viviana’s grandmother, as she was very religious and would not tolerate a Dhampir sharing a home with her. Other than that, her turning didn’t really affect her lifestyle, to curb it Viviana wasn’t allowed around injured people, no matter how much she wanted to help. Finding out that she was going to go to a huge school without someone to guide her was scary, to think that she could bite someone without really “wanting” to, she could hurt someone, or ruin her family’s name. Regardless she did have a bit of excitement for the coming days, perhaps she’d meet someone who would guide her, maybe keep her out of harms way. Viviana would kill for a friend, yeah, she’s had friends before of course, but, being a kid, they were just friends half the time and bullies the other half. She couldn’t really rely on them for much other than being fun, and her money made coming by them much easier than is likely normal. Despite all of this, she isn’t aware of these friends being fake, thinking this skewed friendship is what it’s all about. Viv’s relationship with her parents is very healthy, she can come to them for help, answers or guidance, and she really looks up to her father for his ability to provide for such a large home, since her mother doesn’t work, Viviana can spend a lot of time with her, and they do, with the two usually spending the most time out of anyone else, they talk, Viv helps with cooking, they discuss the latest happenings, she wouldn’t prefer it any other way. When her dad is back, or when he is with them, on break, Viv talks him into a headache, it makes up for his usual absence, to the point where she will memorize patterns in his day so she can talk to him as many times as he’s available. Her relationship with her brothers is joyous, majority of the time they aren’t all together but when they are they all have playful fun, getting louder and more energetic than usual, sometimes even accidentally breaking things in their way. To summarize, they seem to get almost dumber when they’re together.
First Instance of Magic: Viviana found herself in a bit of a pickle, a party was to be attended and of course that meant getting dressed, a hat that she felt was fairly uncomfortable was ordered to be worn by her grandmother. She sat, pouting to herself and sighing. Soon her mother would enter, coming to put the hat on her, Viviana tried dodging the hat a few times to avoid it, but when it didn’t work out she knocked it away. Soon after hitting the ground, it began to burn, almost as red as Viviana’s frustrated face. Once her mood cooled so did the combusted hat. Her mother was not necessarily surprised at the expression of magic but that it happened. She was afraid that the little three year old would become a squib, but this changed everything! Though she should have been mad about the destroyed hat, she couldn’t help but applaud her daughter.

Thank you for all those edits! A small note about your Dhampir application: can you please remove the mention of Lumos Solem? While, yes, your parent could've learned that spell from their education, we don't allow NPCs to use spells, potions, and abilities that you (as the player) don't have so that it doesn't give you an extra advantage compared to other First Years. A bright light of any sort is fine, just keep it vague

First Instance of Magic:Mamori was raised in a small family unit of three: his father, mother, and himself. His mother is a pure blood descendant Hit Wizard currently working at the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol; his father on the hand, is a Muggle born Japanese Magizoologist passionate about studying both Japanese and British magical creatures.
His parents' love story began at the at the Quidditch World Cup when his mom was cheering for England and his dad for Japan. It led them to each other despite their language barrier plus cultural disparities because both had a keen interest in magical creatures and Quidditch. They kept contact through owl mail which further nurtured their relationshipᅳ and after graduation, they got engaged and chose the UK as their forever home where they still reside till date.
Mamori was brought up in a bilingual setting as a result of his English-speaking mother and Japanese-speaking father, who also made him well-versed in different magical cultures. Yet that was not the end of it all; the nature of his parents' professions brought even more thrill into his life. His mother would often narrate thrilling ᅳ sometimes bone-chilling ᅳ bedtime tales that were based on her real-life experiences as a Hit Wizard, his father worked with magical creatures in controlled environments, sometimes bringing him along to magical reserves and Ministry-approved sites. Mamori frequently aided his father in caring for injured or distressed beings, picking up the skill of gentle and cautious approach. He acquired patience and empathy by observing the subtle signs from their behavior, which taught him how to respond with tenderness. Meanwhile, his mother's bedtime stories subtly shaped his ideas about the future, inspiring his dream of becoming a Hit Wizard.
As a wizardborn, Mamori lived his pre-Hogwarts life entirely within the wizarding community and had very limited knowledge about the Muggle world except what his father told him through his stories. Yet despite this lack of exposure, he finds interest in Muggle technology ᅳ particularly phones and social media ᅳ even though he does not have access to these technologies at present.

Mamori first instance of magic occurred when he was five years old. It happened on a hot summer evening in July, his father was engrossed in his research inside the house while Mamori played with his beloved kitsune toy in the storage room next door. As he stretched his arm to reach for a teacup on the shelf, the kitsune toy unexpectedly tumbled off the table, about to fall into the miso kame (味噌甕 / みそがめ, a traditional Japanese ceramic jar used for fermenting and storing miso). The fear of the toy getting dirty and polluting the miso drove Mamori to lunge instinctivelyᅳ only to find the toy floating back into his hand. Mamori screamed and immediately ran to his father to told him about the magnificent moment: he was able to use magic!

-I am double checking whether we have kitsune lore.
-Your father would not be able to smuggle magical animals and keep them in your backyard without authorities knowing. Please edit this.

Since Corvinus was little, she had
little contact with her parents
who worked as aurors in the
ministry.
Despite not seeing them
often, she saw them as really cool
heroes she wanted to be like when
she graduates. Since they
didn't have much time on their
plates, they entrusted Corvinus
to her aunt to compensate for
their lack of presence.
Her aunt is strict, but
also kind. She raised her more in
the wizarding style of life (because
her aunt is pureblooded), and
treated her with care. Their bond was
quite strong, with Corvinus often
making her small paper crafts as
a child.
Corvinus was six when she first went
to school, a muggle school. It was
her mother (a half-blood) who suggested
it, not only to prepare her for Hogwarts,
but to get her to talk to other kids as well.
It worked, but just a bit. She didn't really
know what phones and digital devices
were, and had a hard time understanding
slang terms her other classmates used.
Eventually, she did adapt, but ended up
with just a friend or two.
The muggle curriculum was okay for her,
and learned it just as any person would
have.
Sadly, as time passed, she eventually
graduated and lost contact with her friends

It was a completely random situation. Corvinus was 10 at the time, just two months after her birthday at her house in Birmingham. She sneezed and accidentally turned an apple into a lemon. Her nanny saw this and was absolutely proud, her parents were also incredibly happy when they found out she wasn't a squib.

The Gabriel family have, until Marcus, been a pure-blood family, though they don't take much stock in bloody purity. His father is a pure-blood, while his mother is a half-blood. He was raised on a country estate outside of Hardwick, Cambridgeshire. A number of wizarding families, though maybe not quite as well-off as the Gabriels, also called Hardwick home, so Marcus spent his early years with good company. When he was four, the family welcomed twins—a boy and a girl. The subject was broached early on whether all the children (from the other families, too) should be homeschooled, but ultimately it came down to them wanting the children to experience childhood properly and not in an isolated room with a small class size, and with the way the wizarding world was heading, they wanted them all to be able to socialise with muggles, so they were sent to the local primary school, Hardwick Community Primary School.
Due to being the oldest child, he acted older than his age due to a self-imposed responsibility for his brother and sister. He loved to read a good fiction book, but he also took to going and exploring his family's estate and the surrounding countryside. While his explorations were usually done solo, he and the group of friends he belonged to would gather regularly to play games, which could consist of either football in the village (if playing with muggles) or quidditch (if all magical) on a small pitch on the Gabriel estate, using child brooms.First Instance of Magic: Marcus' first instance of accidental magic was when he was five. He'd been quietly reading his way through one of his books, his mother pottering around the ground floor's many rooms, his brother and sister, 14 months old, on the sofa entertaining each other as they usually did, when he'd noticed things had gotten too quiet. He had just glanced up from his book and noticed his sister, almost in slow motion, topple head-first off the sofa. Marcus raised a hand and cried out in alarm, and the large pile of decorative throw rugs by the side of the sofa slid forward on the hard wood floor. His mother had walked into the room at that same moment with her hands full, carrying the twins' lunch, as the little girl somersaulted onto the soft wool pile.

Irina had always been quite the eyecatcher. It was never a surprise to her when people would often look at her through enchanted lenses, as if she was something worth exploiting to them, and it never bothered her much either, well it made her feel very uncomfortable at first when she went into elementary. She never cared much for her looks, only believing in the loose words of everyone she ever knew over how unbelievably ethereal she looked, so she believed as such, that she was otherworldly beautiful nor did she ever question it since she liked the feeling, she liked the feeling of being loved, adored, wanted. It made her feel as if the stars would forever whisper her name, making her immortal. It was all she ever wanted.
However, there did come a time when she wondered why she was, the epitome of what people believe is beauty, she knew her father came from a line of wizard-borns but not much regarding her vanity or in other words, her mother. There were moments when her mother seemed otherworldly, not human, a being Irina couldn't recognize as her kin. From her mother, perhaps she inherited also her, fiery temper, and the anger that flared in her eyes when a maid failed in her duties she would sometimes see, but never to the point it would hurt them, no, she disliked her mother's tantrums, it taught her a deep lesson to bottle her feelings, just to spite her. In her eyes, her mother was fragile—so fragile that Irina realized one day that she was not, in fact, human. She would turn into a creature her father would tell her bedtime stories, like a harpee. It was then, one beautiful day when Irina finally asked him the story of how they met, he told her of a bedtime story of how her father met her mother, how while he was hiking and traveling mountains and villages in Europe, experimenting with woods and ways to improve their family's publishing empire, he met her mother by the river. A fiery woman who was so beautiful, yet often overshadowed by her soulless eyes, like a bird in a cage. From then on he would visit her often, it took some time and much effort, before her mother finally introduced him to her family. He knew the moment he saw Viviana's platinum hair and bluish-grey eyes as she danced around the river, that she was a veela. Hidden from the world to protect their blood purity but left with no choice as the land they lived in was being the subject of profits to many buyers who wished to buy it, not to mention the family's living conditions were not ideal as the parents grew weaker of age, with nothing left to leave for their sons and daughters. Lee offered to protect their land, in return for Viviana's hand in marriage. And so, the deal was done. Viviana was overjoyed, she had always wanted to explore the world but also knew of its dangers from her family's tales.
Her father ended the story right then and there, but of course, it was only a few months later when her mother would finally come home again, with more reasons than one to escape the ties she birthed, be it either by going out with friends or going missing for months, when she had the courage to ask. That joy her mother felt would only come back to haunt her in full circle into nothing more than what it always had been, a dream. Lee backstabbed them and while he gave them a new home, luxuries that one could only dream of he destroyed their land and soon had an affair with another woman much younger than Viviana, and in every way less of her, the soothing waters to her fiery temper. She will always be a bird in a cage, only alive as his servant, as the dutiful wife alive only for her children. So like many unfairly treated wives in a midlife crisis that she knew, she dyed her hair to be as black as they come. Despite all their resentments, Lee tried to uphold his family's comfortable life, going as far as to move to a peaceful and secluded place in Wales, his old home, and bring Viviana the one thing she loves the most, peace, just like what they named their youngest daughter.

Underneath the full moon on the 28th of January 2013, born the golden awaited daughter of the Cawthorne family. The long-awaited youngest girl, the most protected and loved. As a child, Irina had absolutely no care to prove, protect, or serve anything to the world. She was a vision of striking beauty, almost otherworldly in her perfection. Her jet-black hair flowed in silky waves down her back, with crystal-like roots that shimmered subtly, catching the light. Her eyes, a captivating bluish-grey, had an intense, almost hypnotic quality. They were like the eye of a storm, full of deep emotion yet eerily similar to an abyss. Her button nose added a touch of innocent charm to her striking features, giving her an endearing, whimsical look. Her lips, perfectly balanced in fullness, had a natural allure, curving in a way that suggested sweetness in every word she uttered. When she smiled, it lit up the world around her, spreading warmth and light. She was a living porcelain doll, graceful and elegant. She was as brightly radiant as the stars in the sky, but like all stars, they burn. She did not find any need to prove her life was perfect to others, she was just happy to be alive, with a family that loved her, and even though none of that has changed, Irina certainly did.
Irina had always lived her entire life in the wizarding world with satisfaction, she has no recollection and wouldn't trade her life for anything else. She received her letters for Hogwarts just right on her 11th birthday, her father was, despite being worried knowing all the deaths and supposed scandals the school has been over the few years reluctant to let his daughter go. Her brothers and him all went to hogwarts though despite their big age difference, they were rarely seen in the same building for more than a year. It was a new experience and a new generation for her mother and father in England, despite their renowned status. From her father's side of the family, while he himself is a pureblood he was aware that they weren't completely pure. Not to mention the fact that fascination towards the muggle-world runs deeply in the family, he knew somewhere down their grand ancestry there are most definitely traces of halfblood wizards in their family, nonetheless everyone in their house were aware of the opportunities hogwarts can bring to her, and can only hope for her to flourish more.

Irina's first brush with magic transpired in a moment of pure, unadulterated despair—a tableau of innocence marred by the cruel hand of fate when she was 6 years of age. It was a bright beautiful afternoon, just enough cloudy and sunrise to fill her with too much excitement for a kid. But like supposedly any other kid, Irina had a plan in mind to prank her brothers. In her young naive heart, she wanted to do something to bring her family together once in a while considering they never once ate dinner together, all the family knew was work, study, eat, watch the wizarding programs, play games alone, and the like. It was boring, the only people she could ever play with were her nannies or watch movies with her father which would always be the highlights of her day when he was not off dealing with something in their publishing empire (Cawthorne Publishing makes the best quality books, packagings, and everything you need related to boxes, mails, papers, in the wizarding world. She was dancing to Rick Astley 'Never Gonna Give You Up', one of her father's favorite song, it wasn't until she fell from the windows of her dancing room that, somehow when she woke up, was unharmed. For a moment she believed that it was due to the amazing power of Rick Astley, that he was truthfully magical. She told her dear father about it after getting nagged and yelled at by her parents, and brothers, that was when he reminded her of the fact they were wizards. She never once played any of Rick Astley's songs anymore due to the embarrassment it filled her with. If you ever see her near a rick-roll, she will most definitely leave and excuse herself.

Eliminate any mention of Irina's brothers getting anything from their Veela mother.STATUS: Pending - Maya, 25 July
- Wherever the family resides for first instance of accidental magic is where they go to school. If they have lived in England for a long time, then Irina and her brothers would be going to Hogwarts, not Mahoutokoro. If they were in Japan prior, then it needs to be stated, and Irina's first instance of accidental magic needs to be in timeline with it being done in England, Ireland, Wales or Scotland for her to go to Hogwarts.
- You stated that they are a new generation in England, but your profile states that your character's family is from Wales. Needs to be consistent.
- It is extremely uncommon for wizarding households to have a lot of muggle-related items from technological advances to transportation. Even if the father has a fascination with muggle culture, it would not be to the extreme to live like a muggle as they would not know how to do something like that and would not be equipped for it.
- Trunk contains more than 2 pictures. Only 2 pictures are allowed.

I can't seem to find your backstory in your encyclopedia. I could find your FIOM but it was shorter than the one supplied here. Please make sure both your backstory and FIOM match exactly what has been written here and are in your encyclopedia.
STATUS: Approved, Sereia, 16 Sep
Just a little note that while your family can be of some fame/riches like many other Pureblood characters, other players are not obligated to acknowledge it if they don't know you that well. Otherwise, it would be considered godmodding players' knowledge.

Character Backstory:ReducioEmily was a Halloween baby. She was the half-sister of Linda Ramirez.
Emily was born in 2013 while her half sister was born in 2011. By that time Linda's father is already married with Linda's mother, Linda would be,one and some months. As she's March 2011 and NPC older brother is older than Linda by 7 years, meaning he'd be 8. By that time both families are happy together and living in a mansion Linda's father bought for family. Father's line is Ramirez, mother's line is Blacklia. Emily was closer in personality in father's line grandparents and all those before them. Emily slent more time with them as a child and the Ramirez supported the dark side and following Voldemort during the war.
There's no drama in family, except the muggleborn woman that everyone forgot about and erased her existence..for a very short period of time Linda's father, well not too short, for 7-8 years, he was with muggleborn woman who gave birth to Linda's brother and to Linda, while giving birth to Linda, she died. So when Linda was about one, Linda's father married with pureblood woman which both Linda and her brother consider their biological mother because they don't know about another one. Her father, once married with pureblood one, was again welcomed back by his parents and the pureblood woman didn't know about the blood status of Linda's mom.
between Linda's father and this pureblood woman they all know as mother in their first year together. So this is why Emily believes she is a pureblood
First Instance of Magic:ReducioEmily was 5 years old when she first had her first instance of magic. She had been out climbing a tree when suddenly she lost her balance and fell to the ground with a scream. Miraculously, she landed on her feet unhurt. She told her parents and they were so happy that she wasn't a squib they threw a ball in her honor.
I would also like a blood status change to pureblood as Emily and Linda are half sisters
So, as for question why everyone Linda’s mom she died while giving birth to Linda
As for blood status, Emily is from second marriage which is between purebloods, Emily has no blood connection to Linda's mother,
- Your character's date of birth should be 2012 as a first year. We can make this change for you. Please be sure that it is updated on your encyclopedia and application.STATUS: Pending - Maya, 25 July
- According to your account, you joined the site in April, which means your character should have the birth year of 2011. However, you are unable to move up to a second year. With this said, we need you to provide a reason as to why your character got held back to be a first year again since you have already role-played your character as a first year in backtracked threads.
- The backstory of Linda's real mother dying at child-birth does not work. All muggle-related injuries and accidents can be prevented or healed with magic. You will need to discuss with Linda to find another reason for Linda's character's mother to die and for your character's father to remarry.
- Stats reach 30 points. As a human you need to have 35 points total. Add 5 points somewhere to your stats.
- Papertrail for staff: Linda Ramirez has done a re-index application to include Emily Ramirez and it has been approved.- Your character cannot be born in 2013. Your character must be born Sept 2011 to Aug 2012. You cannot be a first-time first year for the 2024-25 school year. You have already role-played your character as a first year, which means your character cannot be born again in a different year. Instead, there needs to be a reason as to why your character is a first-year again because your character was not indexed to move up to second-year.STATUS: Pending - Maya, 6 Aug
- If you are connecting with another player, your stories must match in what happens to Linda's mother for your character's father to remarry and have your character. You have not shared what happened to Linda's mother. She cannot just "die". We need a reason.STATUS: Pending, Sereia, Sep 6
- just a reminder in your backstory that Emily is born in 2011, not 2013. We still need an IC reason as to why Emily's been held back a year in this application
- a reminder that you cannot have any relatons to canon characters, meaning your family should not have been followers of VoldemortClosed - No edit in over 30 days.
I also verified that you CAN have family members that sided with Voldemort. You just cannot claim they were death eaters or had a personal relationship with Voldemort.

Elena was lucky enough to grow up in a loving family, surrounded by both her parents as well as many animals ; indeed, her dad, a muggle, is a farmer, and Elena grew up in his small farm just outside Edinburgh, in the small hamlet of Hillend.
She inherited her optimism from her father, Joshua, as well as her love for animals. On the other hand, her mother, Elisabeth, always taught her to do her very best, and gave her her creativity and sense of adventure, as well as her lucious red hair. She probably gets her clumsiness from her life-long bestfriend : her golden retriever, Toby.
As for school, she was home-schooled and learned the basics of muggle knowledge, such as reading, writing and counting, from her dad, and a little bit of history of magic from her mother.
Anyway, Elena could not be more grateful for the environment she grew up in. Maybe the only thing lacking in her childhood is a true friendship : she did make a few friends here and there but appart from her dog she did not build any meaningful relationship.
Elena always knew she would be a witch as it was not a secret that her mother, Elisabeth, was a witch herself, although she only used her magic for houshold chores and to help on the farm.
The little girl was still confused and amused when, two days before her tenth birthday, she tried her favorite sweater and watch it grow bigger and bigger, so much that in the end you could barely see her red hair stick out from the pile of green wool. Fortunately she was alone in her room that day and her mom knew a spell that made the sweater back to its original size. Since then Elena produced a few little magical incidents, mostly when she was too excited, but nothing dramatic.

Brooklyn was born June 19, 2013 in Edinburgh Scotland, to Rosie Megan Cortes and Francis Hugo Cortes II. As an only child of the Cortes's, Brooklyn was given any and everything she wanted. She was a very cheerful and kind baby. However Brooklyn’s world crashes down a few months after her fifth birthday when her parents get a divorce. The divorce affected Brooklyn greatly. She bottles up her anger but it becomes too much to bottle up so she begins to put her hate towards those with lower status than her, being muggle-born wizards and half-bloods. in the divorce Brooklyn decides to stay with her father in The Cortes Manor and to visit her mother sometimes in the. Having no friends, She becomes lonely only having a forest by her father’s home to play in.
First Instance of Magic:

Her first instant of magic being in that forest when she was seven, she had gone for a walk as always. She kept walking until she heard a sound from the bushes in front of her move. An aggressive baby dragon then walks out of the bush growling whilst walking closer to her. She starts to slowly back away from it but to her luck it had already spotted her. The now very close dragon tries to bite her leg. Brooklyn starts to panic, yelling for her father or anyone close but luck was not on her side today, no one could hear her cries out for help. As it goes to try to bite her again, she closes her eyes embracing what’s gonna happen. Hearing that sounds around her had been replaced by emptiness, she opens then and looks shocked. She was now back in her room.
- Trunk needs to be a separate post in your character's encyclopedia; not all in one post.STATUS: Pending - Maya, 25 July
- Character biography is currently 135 words. It needs to meet the 220 word count requirement. Please write more to meet this requirement.
- Why did Brooklyn's parents get a divorce? Even if Brooklyn does not know, we would like to know to ensure that it follows HP and HIO lore. Why does she pick one parent instead of the other? This is a huge decision for a child to make; typically divorces end with equal custody unless something needs to be explained. Please also provide what each parent does for a living.
- If dragons are known to be in the forest, then it is unlikely that Brooklyn would be walking in the forest alone at a young age. She would need a guardian of some sort with her.
- Teleportation is a very advanced magic and does not work for a first instance of accidental magic. It takes a lot of energy and magic to teleport. First instance of accidental magic is when magic is beginning to surface for the first time and isn't super strong. It can cause lights to flicker, glass to break, doors to open, small items to levitate and more. Please change your first instance of accidental magic to reflect this.
