This an impossible question but my favourite book is The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark.
For people interested in books/publishing I would also recommend John Sargent’s Turning Pages.

Book Recommendations for a True Ravenclaw
This is such a hard question! I don't read many novels, so I'm not sure what others will like, but one of my favorite books is XOXO by Axie Oh. But another really good book is Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust
Obviously, the Harry Potter series is probably my favourite full series that I've read. But also The False Prince series by by Jennifer A. Nielsen is really good as well.
Now, for manga, I usually read romance books, but my favorite has to be Honey Lemon Soda by Mayu Murata.

I admittedly have not read much recently. But, for me, I’ll suggest:
- The Lord of the Rings Trilogy / The Hobbit - by J RR Tolkien - I love fantasy and this is an awesome example of one! Now if only I can sit down to finish it. lol
- The Harry Potter series (obvious reasons)
- A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder (and other books in the series).

Book Recommendations for a True Ravenclaw
It's been a while since I properly picked up a book, so I'll throw up a couple of my favorites.
I predominately read horror and thriller (surprise), so my recommendations may not be everyone's cup of tea. I also understand that a lot of Kings works may not be for everyone, but they are the most accessible and identifiable for people wanting to explore the horror genre.
Before me, you rightly tremble. But, fear is not what you owe me. You owe me awe....

- The Dark Tower- Eight part adventure-fantasy series by Stephen King. Contains sexual themes and graphic depictions of fantasy violence.
- Cujo- A King classic about a dog that contracts rabies, and my personal favorite. Contains sexual themes, depictions of violence, and yes, the dog does die. I'd say spoiler, but it's pretty much over for him once he gets rabies.
- Christine- Another classic about a demonic car. Contains crude dialogue in reference to women and violence. I also highly recommend the movie adaptation by John Carpenter, beautiful score and the practical effects are very fun.
- Cell- One of the few King books that is acceptable for the younger reader. Contains violent themes.
- Edgar Allan Poe's creative works- "erm, Xai, liking Poe's stuff doesn't make you quirk-" shut your mouth, he was a wonderful writer for his time. Read everything, his horror stories, his poems, his mysteries, his comedies. He's mostly known for his poems and work in horror but his mysteries and comedic short stories are severely underrated and overlooked. Don't look at his stuff as highschool English analysis material because it is so much more than that.
- Jim Henson's The Storyteller- A compilation of short fantasy stories that are great for all ages. They are actually based off of the 1987 television show of the same name which is a must watch, but for those who may not be able to find it the book is pretty much the same.

Book Recommendations for a True Ravenclaw
There's so many books out there that I'd recommend, but with each comes the flaw of whether or not you'd like it. And so I decided that there's bound to be one type of book everyone has got to love- A children's book.
Now this is Junior Fiction. And though I read the first book when I was way younger, I continue to go through the series at least once a year ever since. And yes, it is a series, but trust me it is worth it.
The Girl Who Could Fly -- By Victoria Forester. One would always say that the first book is the best book. In my opinion, all of the books were great books. Through both of the main characters, I've learnt boundless morals and have come to adore them, even going to the extent that I started writing a novel (that I have finished!!) Because of it. I really really love this book and I'd recommend it to anyone of any age. It's an easy read.
P.S if anyone does find themselves reading it please let me know, I'd love to talk to you about it and the fandom!

okay, okay, okay!! I love, love, love books actually so much and get ready for so many recommendations - eeekkk!
- The Beautiful Darkness books - series), written by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stoh - even though I haven’t read them all yet. Ughhh, you have to read it!!
- the memory book - Lara Avery- almost made me cry, but 100% recommend!!! you have to read it ugh, I wanna read it so much again!
- Harry Potter - J.K Rowling - ofccc but still if you haven’t read the novels yet, girl/dude lol, you’ve gotta go read them!!
- holding up the universe -Jennifer Niven - I mean if you love realistic fiction - you’ve gotta read this ughhh still one of my favs!
- another Jennifer Niven novel - all the bright places, that one is so adorable and sad, it also has mentions and scenes of suicide, but its still overall a really incredible book. I would have cried if I wasn’t in the presence of my family lolol.
- if you love hot boys and gangs then you’ll love the outsiders - written by S. E. Hinton
- when we collided - emery lord - amazing book ughhh I think this book made me cry too
- warriors - erin hunter - this book series is incredible, has made me cry so many times because the writers always make the characters die
- since you’ve been gone - morgan matson - so good 100% recommend
okay, what happened? so sorry I just started hurling up books lol, there’s a lot more I read a lot but y’know

Man, picking just one book is hard. Picking just a list is hard! I've seen lots of my childhood favourites mentioned, so I will go with a series that I haven't seen mentioned yet.
- The illuminae cycle series
Please check your ratings, its been a while since I've read it. The first book is definitely the best in my opinion, the other two can get a bit repetitive but overall I still love them
I would also like to publicly shame @Aston Beckett into giving me back the last book of the series
