I have no waiting list, so this is first come first serve. When the shop is open, people can come to get a slot. When it's closed, it's closed, and any placeholders placed during that time are going to be ignored unfortunately. The only way a placeholder works is if the shop is active and there's a free slot. I keep note about when these valid placeholders are placed by putting it in the queue. This is so that everyone gets a fair chance at a slot and not just those who replied when the shop was closed.
I also take one order from one person at a time, so if someone has multiple pieces they want me to draw, they can't give all orders at once and will have to wait.
