I need to put a lot of thought into this! haha Klaus is not an easy guy. He is not given of many affection and social interactions. This doesn't mean he doesn't act nice, but his actions many times are a show of politeness and not exactly how he feels like doing or thinking.
This said, he loves his brother, just doesn't show that. He is very focused on his studies and power goals, and the reason he speaks to people is because he rationally knows that he needs to have influence to get where he wants. They sees and interact with people that he thinks are somehow useful to him. Maila and Olli are important to Ricky and so Klaus will keep them under his watch. He doesn't trust people easily, so he will try to shield his brother from harm, the only person that can hurt him is Klaus no one else!

Alaric is a pretty extroverted guy, quite loud and loves being the centre of attention. I guess he is quite touchy feely — aka, he will be slinging arms around his mates, playfully shoving people.

I think towards Klaus Olli will be a bit weirder, (damn it I had a specific reply but I went to sleep and forgot it). Um obviously he likes Klaus but he just thinks he's a bit weird that he's not an extrovert and that he's not really interested in being friends. Not really sure if that makes sense.

You guys are probably Maila's only really close friends (other than the friend she has at home) since she usually does like to keep to herself a little although she is so open and more extroverted haha.
