Ayako was still angry, but it wasn't the burning anger from before. She'd had time to settle down and now she was filled with a cold, determined fury.

She marched purposefully into the tent of their enemies with Akira, ignoring his polite greeting to the tent. These fools didn't deserve such respect. These vandals of books. These soakers of clothing. These disturbances of tranquility.

"Thank you," she muttered politely to Akira as he stepped aside to let her through and held open the tent's flap.

While the rest of the group was methodically filling envelops with shrunken items and hiding a few howlers, Ayako was assisting in a different way. Her logic was simple: the more envelopes they had in the enemies' tent, the longer it would take for them to find the horrendously annoying Howlers the Mahoutokoro students were setting up.

Therefore, slung over her shoulder was a massive burlap sack - easily thirty-two gallons or more - filled to the brim with envelops of every shape, size, and color. She could have gone with ones that matched the others' envelopes, but she hoped the contrast in color would make it harder to spot the Howlers at a glance.

Ayako was normally very concise. She wasted no effort, and chose the quickest, most simple path to her objective. This time was an exception. She grabbed handful after handful of envelops and scattered them wildly across the floor. surfaces, and any nooks and crannies she could reach.

"This is for Hiro-san, and his head injury!" she growled into the tent as she worked.

There were easily hundreds of envelopes in the bag, and she was throwing them as fast as she could - and as wildly as she could - until the covered nearly every surface in the tent.

"And this is for Chi-chan's book! she shouted as she tossed the now-empty bag onto the ground alongside the envelopes.

When she was satisfied, she stormed back out of the tent wordlessly, eager to move on from these fools that would dare 'prank' them.

The reason for his late arrival: he can’t find his glasses. Sunglasses, in fact. Why would one need sunglasses when you’re just going to make someone else’s tent look like a unicorn barfed on it? (assuming they barfed pink glittery goodness). Well, it’s precisely because of that colorful glittery madness that he needed to shield his eyes from it somehow.

By his constant use of dark colors for his attire, one could easily assume he was just really into the intimidating bad boy aesthetic. When in fact, it was only due to his weakness of bright colors. Anything that didn’t have some sort of brown hue to it made him squirm and had him wanting to turn the other direction. Reminded him too much of flowers. Which everyone who knew him well enough to know that they were his natural arch enemy.

But when Hiroi had so kindly asked him if he could participate in pranking another tent by wrapping everything in glittery pink wrapping paper, who was he to refuse? He was not the pranking kind of person, but Chiaki’s idea certainly seemed harmless enough to do. She didn’t seem to be the only one fired up to take revenge for the indoor rain and trunk turned matchbox fiasco last time. He recalled it was either this or placing howlers under their pillow. Plastering wallpaper over stuff seemed it would give him the least guilt. What harm could pink sparkly wrappings could do, you know? Apart from blinding your eyes, he guessed. If he bought extra pairs of sunglasses, he wouldn’t mind giving them as a small ‘sorry for wrapping all your stuff in pink and glitter’.

When he arrived at the scene, a pair of thick black sunglasses already sat at the bridge of his nose, engulfing his vision in a tinted shade. “ A-apologies for being a bit…erm.. late, Hiroi-San.” he lowered his head just slightly, lifting his sunglasses over his head to meet Chiaki’s eyes but only for a second before dropping them back on his nose again. “ you already started…” he muttered, the sight of the pink-wrapped trunk made him want to roll his eyes. But it also held slight guilt for being so late. “ I-If you need me to lift anything heavy, I can give it a try. I can start wrapping too if that helps. “ he began walking closer towards Chiaki and the newly wrapped trunk, ready to do anything Chiaki told him to do. “ I um..I hope me being a bit late didn’t do too much damage to your plan. I apologize, again. I'll work twice as hard, I promise”. He stated, determination in his eyes. Though Chiaki would not likely be able to see through his thick sunglasses frame.

she smiled at chikao as the walked. "Its just a little bruise, really." The bruise that covered her left arm was visible as she didnt even bother to cover it. It didnt bother her, instead it amazed her how a bruise that big could come from someone her age. Really, his strength was incredible. And she didnt intend to get revenge on him, not any more as he was apologizing. " hey, in my defense - I was confused and also unable to see. " it felt sort of weird to speak japanese with chikao as she was pretty sure he knew english just as she did. Of course, she didnt bring thisnup because she didnt want to appear to be making assumptions.

Her happy eyes lingered on Chikao for an extra second, glad that he wasnt as mean she assumed. She looked forward and noticed they were at their destination. Coraline threw herself into the tent and raised her hands up. "Hear ye Hear ye! " she said in english. "to the absent occupants of this tent: due to some official reasons we are here to ruin your day." she walked iver to the middle of the tent and crouched to other people from her tent with the empty envolopes.

"This is for ruining my slippers and the belongings of my-" she hesitated. Not friends. She barely knew them and she always assumed they didn't want anyone else to hang out with them as they all knew each other. "The belongings of my tent mates!"

After some consideration, Hiro decided on the lone tent.

The rest were going after the tent with the most people. But Hiro didn't want the other tent to feel left out.

Seeking out the inhabitant of the tent, Hiro saw the plaque with a single name written on it. Monica. A girl. It was the middle of the night and she should be in a deep sleep by now. Hiro lifted the flap of the tent, wand grasped firmly in his hand, as he entered the area. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness, Hiro crept closer and then pointed his wand directly above Monica to whisper the spell. "Nix Facitur!" It was the snowflake creating spell, designed to create snowflakes. He quickly crept back over to the entrance but kept his wand pointed at Monica's position inside.

Hiro wanted the snowflakes to continue to drop down on Monica for as long as possible. Once she woke up, or lit up a light with her wand or a lantern, that's when he would leave. He obviously didn't want to get caught, even though his prank was harmless and was more pretty than anything else. The boy had debated about doing other things at the same time but had decided on simply making it snow inside her tent. The weather temperature would change and the snowflakes falling onto places would make it wet too. Perhaps Monica would even appreciate it a little bit.

After all, it happened to be a hot summer.

It might be nice to feel cool during one of those days, maybe she would feel like one of the lucky ones.

Perpetrators Round 2: Team 5

Vengeance was in the air as team 5 began their invasion. They seemed to enter with a plan in mind and wished to avenge their own ravaged tent. Luckily there was some considerable luck and skill in their group to make a quick scene of mayhem.

Chiaki Hiroi (@Pax Zhang) and Sara Kohana (@Hanako Tone) showed that they know how to wrap some gifts and began wrapping all kinds of items in a beautiful pink glittery wrapping paper. They would truly be ready for the holiday season. Slowly the tent would be filled with the little wrapped items.

On envelope duty was Coraline Harvey (@Reena Delgado) and Ayako Yamamura (@Sophia Nelson). While Coraline was effective at spreading and hiding all sorts of red envelopes all over the tent to confuse the campers, Ayako...tried their best. They tossed hundreds of envelopes into the air to try and make a mess but almost all of the letters landed right back on top of each other in a messy pile. Sure the pile might be confusing but it probably wasn't as much chaos as intended.

The true plan seemed to be to cause a confusing ruckus as Chikao Narumi (@Hunter Argentum) hid an unpleasant howler inside Maggie Hawkins' pillow. It wasn't a great job of hiding it and might be quickly found but it would work. Within five minutes of Maggie being back in the tent, the letter would open and begin yelling on its own.

But this would not be the only howler to watch out for. Hadashi Hitoshi (@Dan Palmer) spent a bit of time shrinking the wrapped items before hiding their own elaborate howler. They even enhanced its volume but it would only increase to a small degree. The bigger issue would be the contents of the letter. Overloaded with lyrics, the bulging howler would likely burst into flames and ashes before it got through even a full song. It would be annoying while it lasted, however.

As some items were shrunk, Akira Shimizu (@Avery Chen) began to stuff some of the items into the red envelopes that were spread around the tent to add a bit to the chaos. While most of the envelopes would be empty there were now a fair amount that would be filled with little presents, it really was like Christmas!

While a holiday bonanza was being made in the team 6 tent, Hiro Bakugo (@Kim Sato) had other plans. They hunted down @Monica Evans...how very romantic... before casting the Snowflake spell on them. While it wasn't the strongest casting of the spell it did work and Monica would soon find snow drifting down on top of them for a chilly awakening.

  • There will be the Perpetrator Phase and Victim phase for each round
  • At the start of each round, one team will be designated the ‘Perpetrators’. Their job is to plot and prank the other tent/group. The Perpetrators will have one week to post any plotting and attempted pranks before there will be a Moderation post. This Moderation will roll to see the successes and failures of your pranks and stealth. (You don’t want to be found out!)
  • Each member of the Perpetrators can either do an individual prank or work with teammates for larger pranks to improve the success rate and scale of the prank.
  • The other group/tent will be designated as ‘The Victims’ of that round. After the moderation, the Victim team can react to the successful or failed pranks against them and begin plotting their own revenge. This Victim Phase will also receive one week.
  • Once the Victim Phase ends, the team roles will swap and a new round will begin. So if Team A is the Perpetrator in Round One, Team A will be the Victims in Round Two.

Round 2: Victims Phase for Team 6 and 9

In this Victim Phase, the designated Victims of the round will be given an OC week to react to the successful and failed pranks done to them. They can also begin to plan their own retaliation pranks to start getting a bit of revenge.

There are no required actions during the Victim Phase, as it will be followed by Round 3's Perpetrator phase (if desired) where the Victims of round 2 can do their pranks. However, if all of the Round 2 victims wish to post their prank action during this Victim phase, I will happily moderate it and bypass the additional week.

Perpetrators: Team 5
  • The Perpetrators do not need to post in this phase and have no actions to take in the victim phase. However, you can post reaction posts to your successful pranks if you wish. They will not be moderated but can allow you some IC reactions. Otherwise, your next post would be after being pranked.

It is time for Teams 6 and 9, you can choose to retaliate if you wish. Otherwise, the war will be considered at its end!
In this Perpetrator Phase, the designated Perpetrators of the round will be given an OC week to plot, plan and attempt to unleash pranks on the other team.

Perpetrators: Team 6 and 9
  • At the end of the week, moderation rolls will be done to determine the success and failures of the pranks. Failing might be just as entertaining as succeeding...
  • Each Perpetrator will be allowed to take 1 action in this phase. The action can either be a specific prank that they are trying to pull or designating that they are assisting another one of the perpetrators with their prank for a higher success rate.
  • If your action is an attempted prank, you must also designate either an individual target or the whole victim team. Attempting to prank the entire team with one prank will have very high difficulty.
  • Perpetrators can post multiple times in the phase (for IC discussion/strategy) if desired but only their final post's action will be considered.
  • Be creative but realistic with what your pranks are. Chaos and mischief are highly encouraged!
Victims: Team 5
  • During the Perpetrator Phase, no action is required by the victims. You are simply the targets of their wrath!
  • Once the moderation has been posted, then the Phase will shift, and your characters can react to the successful and failed pranks to begin plotting revenge.

Monica lay in her bed, the soft billowing of the breezing as it costed by the wall of the tent soothed her. Almost reminding her of the terrific that would pass by outside her house back home. The tent was full of heavy breathing, everyone had fallen asleep quite quickly. As Monica's eyes began to drift, and the sweet sound of slumber beckoned to her, she eventually gave in and found herself fast asleep.

As the night lingered on, Monica was dreaming. She was in a dark room, dancing, a single spotlight illuminating her performance, and highlighting every motion she made in sync with the music. It was an elegant performance, then as she spun, coming to the end of her dance... she felt something. She raised her hand closer to her eyes for a better look. She saw nothing but felt a cold touch resting on the backside of her hand. Then she felt the same sensation on her shoulder, and head and face. Soon she was covered with this cold embrace, but still could see nothing around her...

She opened her eyes, she was in the tent, the sounds of Kiwi nestling next to her was the only shift in the silence. But something was different. As Monica gazed at the ceiling of the tent, there was white stuff clouding her vision. She felt it fall on her face, this was the cold touch she felt in her dream. She sat up in her bed, indeed it was snowing!

Her area was covered in it, flakes all in her hair, encircling the floor around her. She looked up at the falling flakes, as they dropping in her, and all around. Sure it was cold, but due to the hot weather that she had been experiencing, it was a rather pleasent way of waking up. Like her very own winder wonderland.

She gazed around the room. Was someone awake? Was this the prank that was set for her? She didn't see anyone, but it didn't matter. The snow wasn't enough to soak any of her things, it just refreshed her. Eventually the snow fall slowed down, just as Monica picked up right where she left off in her dream.

During the next few days, the team met up to talk about how to exact revenge for the pranks. Apparently the other tent got more then what Monica received, she kept her pleasent snow fall a secret, didn't want to lead on someone might be playing favourites with her...the plan was set for going in at night to set off their own bombardment of Howlers upon the enemy, along with filling their tent with a braid of bubbles, too much for anyone to navigate around to silence all the howlers that would be planted.
Monica helped out with preparing the howlers. Think up just the write message to say in order to be the most annoying and chaotic, "What are thoughts about having a message just be, 'ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh'? or another like, 'Hey!'?" Monica suggested to the group. When preparations where finished, the time had come to exact their revenge.

The moon hung brilliantly in the sky. the campground illuminated just enough to see what one was doing, yet still offering enough darkness to sneak around, hopefully undetected. Monica followed along with her teammates, carrying numerous howlers with her, and clutching tight to her wand. Once arrived at the home of their target, Monica peered inside, insuring everyone was fast asleep. "Looks like all accounted for are soundly sleeping," relaying back to the group, "time to plant some howlers, and get this tent bubble-fyed." Monica snuck in, with others, to plant the howlers. Putting them under couches, carpets, slowly getting them under beds. If there was any corner or item in the room that a howler could be placed under, she did so.

After the planting was completed, she snuck her way back out of the tent pulled out her wand and prepared to cast "Bullarum Immortalem" but only when everyone in her team was ready to do so. A grin growing on her face, "this is what they get for messing with my team."

"This is so cool!" Haven yelled as she burst into the tent, finding everything wrapped up like it was Christmas day. She didn't even mind the Howlers, instead opting to dance along as she happily ripped the paper off. The chaos was a fine environment for her. Haven was quite excited to find all sorts of little envelopes. She opened one up, and found a miniature version of one of her hats!

"Aww, Marcus, look, now it's your size!" Haven squealed, holding up the tiny hat to her pygmy puff. He gave a disgruntled squeak, to which Haven simply plopped the avocado-print headwear on his little fuzzy head. She clapped her hands in approval, and continued to dance as she opened more envelopes, quite excited to find tiny versions of her belongings.

But soon, it was time for revenge.
Haven wasn't the best at planning, so she simply did as she was told, and she heard that BUBBLES were in order.

Oh boy!

She sneakily snuck in with the others, fully prepared for some bubbly adventures. Haven was doing her best to contain her giggles. Personally, she wouldn't mind waking up to a roomful of bubbles. It sounded quite relaxing, actually. As long as it wasn't like the lavatory incident.

She followed the lead of everyone else, and when it was time, she cast her spell, unleashing a flurry of fluffy bubbles.
How exciting!

Dear reader,
Prank War I
xxxxxxxxTo be completely honest, the pink wrapping paper wasn't quite as bad as it could have been. Maggie liked pink, she liked glitter, she liked opening things (something about tearing apart the paper easily between her fingers really was just wonderful, honestly). So the attempted prank from the other team really wasn't so bad.

I mean, if you discounted the howlers. Maggie could deal with loudness on any given day, and enjoyed a little white noise every now and then. However, a bunch of howlers yelling in your ears while you attempted to unpack your shrunken belongings and got glitter all over you in the process? Not a fan.

They were gonna pay.

Glitter still stuck behind her ears and in the crevices and soft lines of her body, flaking in her hair and crusting beneath her fingernails, Maggie approached the opposing tent with an armful of specially made howlers. Just for her very, very good friends who had decided to leave a couple of gifts.

The bubbles were already bouncing around on the ceiling like balloons, an upside-down ball pit that would be difficult to get rid of if utilizing only bare hands. Maggie began stuffing her howlers beneath mattresses, inside pillowcases, under rugs. Anywhere she could possibly manage to weasel a little red envelope.

When opened, they would spew a litany of irritating nonsense. Feed me! Save me! Are you my mother? Maggie Hawkins RULES! Eat my shorts!

Take that.

June Selwyn had now decided that she did not like pranks. The absolute berating noise of all of the howlers going off at once truly almost brought tears to the young girl's eyes. She supposed she felt a bit sorry that someone's items had been ruined, but they'd been fixed, hadn't they? The idea of something being ruined was a bit absurd to June.. After all, magic existed, and that's what it was for!

The wrapping paper, she would admit, was a very funny prank. She was a bit upset that they hadn't thought of it. It seemed, however, that this group of students didn't like relying on magic. First they complain about a problem that was so easily fixable, then the main part of their prank was entirely non-magical. June was determined to show them that magic was perfectly prank-oriented if you looked at it from the right angle.

"See?" As soon as the wrapping paper had been cleared up, June showed her tent-mates her idea. June held a handful of bubbles that she had conjured just a moment before. She poked them, threw them, dropped them, but they did not burst. It was only when she stepped on them with a decent amount of force that they finally popped. "These could fill up quite a bit of space in their tent, making it hard to move around, and it takes a bit of effort to get rid of them." She smiled, the mischievous grin wide on her face. "Easy enough, right?"

June snuck into the tent of their victims once more, this time determined to set things straight. June may not have liked pranks, but there was one thing she definitely hated more. Losing.

"Bullarum Immortalem." June let a flow of bubbles stream from her wand as she stood in the very back of the tent, making her way forward, hoping the small spheres would fill the tent to at least waist-deep with the efforts of her teammates. Once she reached the front of the tent, she left a red envelope in plain sight of the entrance, and left.

June's Howler Message (which, admittedly, is not at much of a loud volume, and more just June projecting her voice as much as she could):

"Aw, a little magic got your britches in a twist? Think of it as an opportunity to strengthen your charm work, hm? Let it be known that henceforth, we, the members of the Eyepatch and Purple Stone tents, withdraw from this little war of hi-jinx. Enjoy cleaning up your tent! Look, we've already provided the soap, so it shouldn't be too difficult!"
Action: Casting the "Bubble-Producing Charm" throughout the tent with Haven and Monica, producing bubbles that are significantly harder to pop. Also leaving a howler at the entrance of the tent, declaring the two tents conceding the fight.
