The past three hours most of the Durmstrang students had been working out or studying, but not Elizaveta. Unable to sit still, she had been walking around the ship during the whole trip, daydreaming about how all the boys would ask her to the ball as soon as she set foot on the Hogwarts grounds. Even though she had thought every moment of her time at Hogwarts, she still was nervous. Her brothers had stayed at Durmstrang and she was on her own, which rarely happened. Whenever she was upset she would go to one of her older brothers, but now she couldn't do that and that scared her. If the other students were mean to her, who was she supposed to go to now that her brothers were so far away? Three days ago they had celebrated her birthday together and now she was alone.
Eliza watched as the rowboats were lowered in the water, happy to leave the stupid ship she had been stuck on for hours. Her trunk was heavy and she needed all her focus to get it aboard of the rowboat without dropping it in the water. Afraid to fall into the water, the girl sat down as soon as her feet touched the rowboat. Elizaveta shared a boat with a red-haired girl with brown eyes, who she hadn't met before. She didn't feel the need to talk to the girl and started rowing quietly. She watched the ship they had just gotten off get smaller and after a few minutes, she stopped rowing, not because she was tired but she wanted to try to talk with the merpeople in the lake. Eliza extended her hand to the water and watched the raindrops hit her hand and fall into the lake. She leaned a bit closer to the lake and touched the cold water with her hand. "Hello merpeople," she whispered to the water. She was sure that the merpeople would hear her.
Since all of her attention had been focused on the water, she hadn't noticed the other ship rising and causing waves. She only realized the boat was capsized when she fell into the water she had just been talking to. Her face was first to hit the water, but it didn't take long before the blonde could feel the cold water all around her. Her heavy clothing filled themselves with water and made it hard for the young girl to reach the surface. For a second Eliza didn't move and wondered if the merpeople would save her, but she soon realized she would have to save herself. With all her strength she swam to the surface and as soon as the raindrops hit her face she could breathe again. She tried to remove her coat, but failed horribly and quickly gave up, she needed her strength to swim.
Only when she reached the shore did she stop swimming. She was lucky that she knew how to swim and that she sported daily, otherwise she might not have made it to the shore. Soaked and cold, Elizaveta dragged herself onto the land. It was then that she realized she had lost her suitcase in which her wand was. She had no idea what happened to it. What if she could never get her stuff back? She didn't want to lose her things! She couldn't live without her wand and the other things which she had packed. Within 30 seconds she had reached the shore, Elizaveta started crying. It wasn't supposed to go like this! The tears which rolled down her cheeks could easily be mistaken for raindrops, but the sobbing sounds made it clear she was crying. Sitting on the grass, completely soaked and crying wasn't how Eliza had imagined her minutes on the Hogwarts grounds.

This time the boy's words came across clear, and she could feel herself breathing a sigh of relief, thankful the foreign boy could understand her apology. "I'll be fine." She nodded, stating as much for her own benefit. It was a lie, but what was she supposed to do? Unload her months of sorrow into this poor unknowing boy's lap? The courtesy of strangers only went so far and helping a girl who had fallen in the mud to stand up was the usual limit.
At least the boy was a good sport about it, even providing a joke to help break the awkward tension that always seemed to build its walls around Winnie. With a huff of amusement, the Ravenclaw returned his smile. "That's a daily occurrence for you, is it? I think you should stop opening so many boxes." Blue eyes scanned the surrounding area once more, in search of Matt's lanky frame. She hadn't even asked him what school he was attending, although she guess it was Mahoutokoro, considering the boat was the last to arrive. Japan? Why did his family have to send him so far away? Why not Durmstrang or Beauxbatons? At least they were in the same continent. Could Matt even speak Japanese? He was smart enough, but he had never stated an interest before...
The talk of pink was enough to distract her. She was a simple girl, her attention easily lured away by the talk of pretty things or when she started to string poetic words together in her head. "Well, it is the best colour, so I can see you have good taste." She had never considered dying her hair pink before, considering that was pretty much the only colour she wore. She wondered if she could pull it off. She wanted to ask him a million questions about his hair, but when he pointed out the mud that was still caked onto her clothing, her face flushed with colour. She leaned over to quickly retrieve the intricately craved aspen wood wand that had fallen onto the ground when Matt had tossed the bag at her. "A-Ah... To be honest I sit in the dirt a lot when I'm picking flowers so it's not uncommon. Scourgify!" Assuming the spell worked, the mud on her parka and shoes would quickly vanish, leaving her clothing looking practically brand new. She would reach over to accept the pair of shoes and shove them inside of the satchel before relatching the darn thing.
She blinked over at him in confusion again when he started to speak in his native tongue once more. "My name is Winnie Harper, you can just call me Winnie, not a fan of Harper. Is it okay if I call you Hiro? Erm... I guess it's probably obvious with my accent, but I attend Hogwarts." So this boy was Japanese, maybe he was Matt's classmate? She had to know more. "Hey... This might be an odd question, but um... Do you know Matti-- Mathias? The boy I was talking to just now?"

Roleplaying as My iNPC Tina Parker
Tina was on board the Mistress' Mercy for a while now. She also got into trouble for holding the others up, she wanted to bring all of her things aboard, and it took time for the items to be on board when they got the ship to the harbor of Ilvermorny. They now have arrived at Hogwarts, where the Hexwizard Tournament is. The Tournament is a way for witches and wizards to play against each other in 3 tasks through a series of magical contests, for each school will have a single contestant to compete.
If chosen, Tina will stand with a team where she will compete for the Hexwizard Cup, many Galleons, and even eternal glory. The last one is that Tina wants to annoy her parents with the simple fact that she got the credit of becoming the winner of the Tournament. She will spend the many getting her school supplies over the years, competing with Hogwarts, Durmstrang, Beauxbaton, Mahoutokoro, and Koldovstoretz.
Ilvermorny will be guests at Hogwarts for the remaining parts of the school year, with the fact that the Hexwizard Tournament is supposed to be dangerous. People like her are entitled to at least try out for the Tournament, and of course, she would be one of the students entering into the Tournament.

RP'ing as approved iNPC Cyrus Darsel.Cyrus was pleased to once again be heading to the United Kingdom. Years ago, he had disliked it and thought it boring and maybe a little dreary, but now, he was actually very happy to be here. The British people he knew - and there were not many - liked him better than the Americans he knew did.
What made him even more happy was the thought that there would be other students from other schools that weren't in Europe - like there would be people from Japan. That was exciting.
He was here for a tournament that would showcase the best and the brightest from every school, of which he was neither. Still, Cyrus loved things like this, and he thought it would be a wonderful escape from the boring world he lived in.
The boy scrambled to the deck as soon as he realised they were in the UK. Droplets of rain splattered onto his face, but he grinned at the sensation. One got into his mouth; it tasted as he expected it would. It was nice to be so close to land again. Even the train ride had been weird; Cyrus had never quite liked trains. The Mistress' Mercy had been all right, and although the show tunes had made the trip much better, Cyrus hadn't been able to shake the feeling that he wasn't on stable ground.
He didn't make it very far when he was in his boat, which was a bit disappointing since it meant Cyrus would be in a boat for longer. He was strong enough to get to boat to move, but the boat didn't seem to know which way was forward, so he was taking two rows forward and one row backward, and then maybe one to the side. It would be obvious to any onlooker that he had no sense of steering and that he was attempting to keep a straight face.
Even as he went in half-circles, he kept his gaze on the horizon. This was partially so that he would not vomit, but also because he wanted to look for Thea. He scanned the shore for red-haired girls, but although there were some (faceless NPCs included), none were Thea.
He sighed and continued to row on and on. He would get there - eventually.Open to interactions!

OOC: I do not share the same views and opinions as Charles
|
|
|
The rocking of the boat and constant nauseous feeling helpdd take away the excitement of boat traveling.
Charles leaned on the deck, gazing up at rhe dusty old castle. A small frown present on the blonde's face, perhaps from the fact that he is forced to wear the stuffy and uncomfortable Durmstrang uniform.
Charles gave a stiff yawn, at least they were able to emerge from the below deck quaters now thay the boat rose from the depths. As students gathered around rowboats to board, the blonde eyes the students questioing who to grace his presence of for the ride to shore.
Deciding on a particular student. A second year and one who the blonde frequently talks with on the flaws and problems of others. He wouldn't call them a friend, probably alliance at Durmstrang.
A swift nod as Charles approached them, sticking to russian for the moment as he spoke"Mind if I join your boat," a look into their grey eyes as he offered a curt nod before casting a gaze at the student body who came for the Hogwarts trip and hexwizard tournament. His eyes cuaght a glimpse of a familiar piece of fabric and it made Charles think as he leaned toward Archer or Artemis (depending which they are goinf by currently) as he whispered"Kolbeck is losing touch, looks like something is up his arse," a look toward the boat and Charles felt a devilish grin nearly come across his face when he saw Felix and Arjan share a boat.
A looked toward the second year as he spoke"maybe those two surpassed more than friends already," a little rumour that Charles would have more than the satisfaction of sharing. The blonde always enjoued messing with his fellow Durmstrangs, but he particularly loved to mess with Felix Kolbeck and Arjan Oberoi. The two usually had the best reaction outcomes which propelled the blonde more to mess with the duo.
Climbing into the boat behind the second year, Charles placed his trunk besides him. Pulling out his wand, flicking his wand as he softoy muttered the incantation for the umbrella charm. Shielding himself from the raindrops as he looked over toward the second year and spoke"Who do you think will survive longest in the tournament? Oberoi or Kolbeck?" Charles never liked Felix, the fact he was a duelist only increased his dislike of the boy. At least Arjan was a quidditch player so naturally Charles had his pick.
Charles offered a curt nod to the other member of the boat. A year older. Milosh or Milo... maybe Miles? Names wasn't something Charles was good with as he greeted the lad, "come to join the fun?" His voice in his natural dull yet sarcastic tone as he offered the magical umbrella that he recently casted for the elder lad if he wished to shared to hide from the rain.
Laying back in the boat, a wave toward the second year letting them row alone. The blonde didn't care much and sat back as rested his eyes on the castle, looking forward to the tournament. Becoming a champion could be his chance to show that he isn't a complete idiot and quidditch lad, that he could account for more and truly be something great. Glory. The glory of winning was something the blonde couldn't turn away from. He could only imagine how winning the tournament could change his life. Bringing pride to himself and maybe even advancing in sleepomg quaters at Durmstrang.... enough to make one smile not that Charles was smiling as the boat floated closer to the shore. Cutting through crashing waves.
A look toward his boat mates as he asked"Will either of you being entering the tournament?" A look towsrd both as the blonde held his free hand on the back of his head and placed his feet up on the side. A comfortable position but not a stable one for the waters trembled then lashed out in a moments noticed.
Whipping his neck around at the explosion of lights in the sky and emerge of another ship next to the Crusader. Charles only had a few fleeting moments to stare as he felt his own boat tremble and fight the clutch of the lake.
Losing his balance, the blonde rolled off the side and straight into the depths of the water. Water cut around him, a numbing sensation crawl about through hia finger-tips ans flushed through his eyes. A moment of silence ran through the teen, all that could be heard his the thuding sound of his heartbeat.
A rush of energy
The blonde stretched, resching through the water and kicking hard as his head broke the surface. Gasping for air, Charles clumsily treaded water as he sputtered water, "The fuck is this!" Stretching his neck as he pulled off and kicked away the jacket part of the uniform, finding it a bir easier to handle the water as he kicked toward the boat and jumped a fre times. His grasped slipping on the side. Already angered and shivering the blonde snapped"Get me out of this bloody water!" Jumping and stretching as the blonde panicked, searching for a area to grab and pull himself up on.
Eventually finding a hold, the blonde pulled himself up and rolled onto his back. Splitting water, breathing hard as he rubbed his ribs. If Archer|Artemis and Miolish were near or still in the boat, the blonde would sit up pushing his wet hair aside as he spoke"Ilvermorny is dead. They need to pay for this and before that tournament," a look toward both as the blonde gasped for air still looking to cacth his breath as he continued"Will you help teach them a lesson or not?" Thia time noa shivering the blonde would help row only wanting to get to shore faster as he glared back, hoping someone brings his trunk to where Durmstrang will be staying for the duration of the visit for him since they floated nearby in the crisp water.
At the sight of the french girl, Charles offered her a nod when she helped pull in the boat along with a smile. He couldn't help it, returning her hug with a light on the blonde noticed that she was wet before they hugged and wondered if she hadn't been protected by the rain.
A nod and smile as he replied"wonderful to see you again as well," the blonde slipped his wand out from where he stored it after the fell into the water ans muttered the umbrella incantation once more. This time holding ot over himself and Cassie as he spoke"dancing in the rain again, Cass? Since your wet, why not a rainy broom ride?" A smile toward his friend as he rested his arm on her head another reminder of his height.
The blonde forgetting that one of his cloest friends; Drew belonged to Ilvermorny as he looked out wanting payback for falling into the water and now shivering om the shores edge.
Eyes casting around till he found one particular second year, still in a boat the blonde switched to russian as he shouted"Farin! Get your arse to shore, the Ilvermorny is due a proper greeting from us in return for theirs," Charles would half a mischievous gint toward the girl as he looed forward to confronting the Ilvermorny students on capsizing their rowboats.

The boat was about to arrive at Hogwarts. Hogwarts, you had read a lot of books about this school and you had asked your older sister Viktoria for more information. Hogwarts was an incredible school, bigger than Durmstrang. There, sport was not compulsory, which you found strange. And there was one fact that you found really abnormal. British students did not study dark magic. You were convinced that it was important to know all forms of magic. And knowing how to master them was the best thing you could do.
You quickly found your sister and quickly prepared to go out. Because frankly, spending 3 hours underwater is not the most pleasant feeling. You needed some fresh air. So it was with relief that you went up on deck, your suitcase in hand, a bag slung over your shoulder.
You were in a boat with Viktoria and other students. You were halfway through the journey when another boat came out of the water. Ilvermorny. The waves caused by their boat capsized your boat. You screamed in rage and surprise. No one had the right to knock you over like that. You were a good swimmer, but you still had the reflex to grab your suitcase and put it on the boat. Someone would go and get it. So you started to crawl to the shore.
And then, you walked towards the first Ilvermorny student you saw, completely soaked and angry. A dark-haired boy who was probably slightly taller than you. But that wasn't a problem. You could be very scary when you were angry. He had his back to you but you grabbed him by the shoulder and turned him around. He was laughing. So he was laughing at making half of the Durmstrang students who had come to Hogwarts swim part of the lake? Well it didn't make you laugh.

@Opeila Winters [Theodore Duncain] - received permission to godmod them being in the same boat
For as much as Phyllis loved these trips--getting away from the monotony of the same classrooms every day, even if they didn't get out of the homework, seeing new places, and meeting new people--Merlin, did she hate getting there. She despised the method of travel without fail. Maybe it was being stuck in some vessel for long periods of time, maybe it was being in proximity to Plott. Even she couldn't entertain herself by talking to people the whole time when the journey was so long, and what else could she do, read? She was especially not thrilled to hear they would be taking a boat this time. Phyllis had strong feelings about large bodies of water, and they were the opposite of how she felt about broom flying. The ocean was very big and very dark and it did not help that she was, at best, a mediocre swimmer. And sure, they were wizards, but she hadn't heard of any swimming spells.
So the ship portion of the journey was not super fun, but at long last, it was over. This was honestly the part she dreaded the most. Plott, without fail, announced their arrival every year very unnecessarily dramatically and she did not see that changing any time soon. Phyllis was a fairly loud, colorful person, yes, but Plott annoyed her to no end. Couldn't they have just one normal arrival? One time without establishing their school as obnoxious?
She would not get her wish, the sky exploding with fireworks. It drew an eye-roll, but Phyllis was paying surprisingly little attention to the theatrics. Instead, her eyes were on the lake. They had to row across that? Seriously? At least this boat was big and she didn't have to see the water if she didn't want to. The rowboats were much smaller and prone to capsizing, like the ones from Durmstrang were doing right now. Oh, and it was raining. This was going to be miserable.
"You're kidding me," she groaned to Theo. At least she didn't have to ride across alone; she had every intention of sticking with her friend. Plus, he hadn't grown up in a stupidly fancy pureblood home so he'd probably actually learned useful stuff like how to swim. Squinting through the rain at the shore, she tried to cheer herself up with thoughts of the warm food that was hopefully inside. One hand was kept firmly on her raincoat hood, trying to hold it as far over her head as she could, and she decided she was just shivering because of the cold. Yep, no other reason.
When they'd reached the front of the sort-of line to get on the rowboats (really, knowing Ilvermorny, it was more of a blob), she turned to Theo just to make sure he was cool going together. Because otherwise she needed to find someone else to join, being miserable alone was out of the question. "Boat partners?" He agreed, thank Merlin, and soon enough they were on the waves.
Phyllis was uncharacteristically quiet as they rowed, which was not something she was very good at, much like swimming. That part wasn't so bad after watching a few people do it and getting into a rhythm. The part that had her muttering I hate this under her breath was how freaking wet she was. Her hood was not doing a very good job of staying up and she no longer had a spare hand to tug at it with. "On the bright side," she finally piped up, though she did not look cheery enough to be saying this with genuine optimism, "I don't think it will make much of a difference if we fall in." She would, however, much rather be rowing than swimming; she liked the boat between her and the water, thank you very much.

Glancing around toward the shore, Hailey saw the girl she had shared a rowboat with before it capsized had made it to Hogwarts already. She must have swam the whole way rather than get in another boat. Even though she had been a bit odd, whispering at the water and all, she seemed nice enough and Hailey was glad she was alright.
Rowing to the shore in the new boat, she saw a student swimming beside the boat. Not just any student though, it was an Ilvermorny student at that. "Excuse me?" Hailey asked. "Did you actually just say that? It was your ship that caused me to fall in and take an unexpected swim, I did not just jump out of my boat for the fun of it. I certainly didn't do it to make fun of other's misfortune either," she said coldly.
Whoever he thought he was, he was in for a rude awakening. Hailey did not take lightly to being made fun of by anyone. "I don't care whether you get to change out of your wet clothes either. It's your own fault." With that, she rowed away from him quickly.
Hearing her name yelled in Russian from the shore, she looked toward it to see who it was calling. She spotted Charles Alluring with a look of mischief in his eye. As she jumped out of the rowboat, she jogged over to where he stood.
"Charles. I'm guessing your boat capsized as well from the looks of it?" she asked, taking in his dripping wet appearance. "Those idiot Ilvermorny students are definitely in need of a proper greeting from us." Revenge would be taken on them for their lavish entrance, especially that student who had the audacity to make fun of her in the water.

He chuckled at the girl's response. She was pretty funny! "Well, I might have exaggerated a bit. It's not so much that I open boxes that have shoes that come out and hit me, it's more like they get thrown at me on a regular basis!" Hiro said with a nod and a shrug of his shoulders. That much was actually true, although Winnie might not believe it. At least not yet, she didn't know him well.
He looked back down at the shorter girl and smiled at her, gazing directly into her eyes.
But it seemed as if Winnie was still distracted.
It most likely had to do with Mathias, he guessed. After all, her previous actions had shown she was definitely obsessed with him. And it had been interesting to see Mathias's response to all this too. But she returned her attention to him as soon as he mentioned the color pink. Maybe she liked it more than he'd originally thought! Come to think of it, those shoes he'd given her had been pink and the gown in the box too.
Even her parka and the boots she was currently wearing were the same shade of pink.
Lots of pink.
He was glad her hair wasn't pink because that would have been a little too much pink, at least in his mind. Then again, if pink was what she loved, she should go for it.
It didn't matter what others thought, if something made her happy, she should go for it. Hiro would be there to back her up if it came down to it. "Pink is a nice color. I was trying to think of a good color to use for when I came to Hogwarts. I'm glad I chose this one." He said with a smile. "One might say it brought us together." Hiro teased, some of his normal good naturedness shining through a bit.
As Winnie leaned down to pick her wand up off the muddy and wet ground, Hiro let his eyes flicker over her for a moment. She spoke about being used to sitting in the dirt and picking flowers and then used a cleansing charm on the items. "You said you pick flowers, are they pink too?" Hiro asked with a smile. As Winnie introduced herself to him and asked if she could call him by his first name, which wasn't common.
The reason being related to a culture thing Japanese students had.
Most Mahoutokoro students would probably have rejected her, but Hiro was different.
He liked making a nuisance of himself and was well known to approach and go after every single person at the school. Some called him The Nuisance and others called him Many Colors. There were so many names people referred to him as back at home. As a result, Hiro didn't care if people called him by his first name or not, it didn't matter what he was called to him. "Mm. Go ahead, Winnie!" He said with a smile for her.
Hiro nodded as Winnie told him that she attended Hogwarts. "I kind of figured that, you didn't seem like you came from a military-like school. And although you could have come from a theatrical one, you seemed as if you'd been standing on the shore for awhile. Ilvermorny just recently docked, so it wouldn't make much sense for you to be from that kind of school." Hiro explained a bit.
"And considering students from the other two schools don't seem to be here yet, I figured you must have been from Hogwarts. I mean, I could have been wrong but my guesses are usually right when I do make them." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. Regarding Winnie's accent, Hiro hadn't considered that she had to be a student at Hogwarts because of it. There could have been many reasons for it.
Why?
Because just because she had a specific accent didn't mean she couldn't have come from one of the other visiting schools.
Hiro raised a brow when Winnie asked him if he knew her boyfriend, or was it ex-boyfriend now? She was right, it was a rather odd question. But he didn't mind, he loved being nosy when it came to others. Whatever she wanted to talk about, he was there ready to listen to her! Yes, even though he didn't know her well and she didn't know him. But, if she wanted him to spread rumors, he wouldn't do that for anyone.
It just wasn't his type of thing to do. Hiro preferred the truth, however much it hurt, and didn't support unsubstantiated rumors. Winnie's question wasn't complex though and was actually quite simple. Perhaps she wasn't going to ask anything untoward of him. He placed a smile on his face again, his usual one that he showed everyone. "Puraido Mattaiasu? Yes, I know him. I know pretty much everyone there."
"Why do you want to know?" Hiro asked, curious.

19/3/2022 In uniform. [x] ────────────────────── MENTIONS.. Lynn had heard countless stories of Hogwarts—how could he not? With its varying reputation and proximity to home, it'd be a lie that he wasn't eager to gaze upon the school he'd initially been devoted. As not students, but guests, Durmstrang would sail to their British counterpart's land for the revival of a historic event. Still, while perusing the cramped passageways to his cabin from a workout, Lynn had joked that it'd taken promise of an athletic championship for him to willingly step foot in the place. He hoped his cousin would not take it personally.
At least his good mate Arjan Oberoi was accompanying him. The pair went way back and could turn a three-hour slog into a journey less agonizing—for themselves anyway. When Lynn was alerted to the ship's portholes brightening to grey around 1700, he scrambled to peer past one with a whistle. Durmstrang's pride, the Crusader, had finally breached Hogwarts' lake surface. As the water from the ascent trickled away, the rain droplets succeeding it could not obscure the lit castle in the distance. Alright. Hogwarts was beautiful. He'd give them that.
In a hurry, the students eventually found themselves on deck preparing to launch row boats to shore. Durmstrang's strict militarism had been one of its staples. With no proper crew to man the ship, it fell into the students' hands. Lynn however, had adapted well. “Allow me, miss,” he offered to the fifth struggling peer that day, swooping in to lift her trunk into her chosen boat. Without missing a beat, he'd then turned to Arjan, nodding behind himself towards a lone, untouched rowboat. He did not want to be stalled any further. “See that? Let's snag it.”
Loading his own belongings into the rowboat with a grunt, Lynn hopped in as it wobbled dangerously over the side of the ship and began tending to its ropes with natural aptitude. Together, he and Arjan lowered themselves until meeting the water's surface. Lynn plopped down onto the wooden seat, taking the foremost pair of oars in his hands. It wasn't until glancing back that he realised just how far the shore was. Although most would groan at the revelation, Lynn's eyes gleamed competitively, dipping the oars for a first backstroke. “Let's see if your arms are good for something other than woman-repellent, eh?”
But even their combined brawn couldn't account for what happened next. Bubbles rising curiously beneath their rowboat, they'd only just managed to exit the immediate danger zone before the culprit, another ship, burst through beneath the boats of their peers. “Holy shit!” His back pointing towards the shore allowed for what was essentially a front-row (hah) seat of a tidal wave. Rowing now an afterthought as Lynn clenched for dear life on the boat's rim, his ears were subject to the sound of fireworks in spectacular glares of red, white, and blue.
The Bristol native narrowed his eyes. Ilvermorny. Damned Americans. Before he could better position the oars to get far, far away from the Mistress' Mercy, another sound rang out, a distinct thump from the bottom of the shared rowboat. And then, shouting. It took a moment to recognize the closeness of it, and even more so its Russian tongue, but the distinguishable head of white hair flailing in the water nearby directed his eyes to the obvious sign of struggle.
Instinctively, Lynn dropped his oars and reached out to grab at Felix—first the back of his collar, then his leather backpack for more leverage. “I've got you! Hey, calm down, alright? You're rocking us too.” With the weight of now three teenaged boys either on or partially hanging off of a shitty dinghy and smaller waves still emitting from Ilvermorny's entrance, there wasn't exactly ample time for Lynn to leer at the almost-drownee's face... until he did.
Oh. Oh. The corners of his lips twitched, holding back a grin. Although Lynn wasn't present that summer to personally witness what had gotten these two so at each other's throats, Arjan had bestowed him with the knowledge upon return. “Tsk tsk. Aye, Arjan. Look who it is. Pretending to drown just to have at you. That's just sad, innit?” Despite the snark, he'd nonetheless continue at pulling the boy over. He was sometimes a teaser, sure, but not evil.
The bottom of the rowboat was now getting increasingly slippery, and Lynn's trunk slid over to the already overwhelmed side. Although the Stavrou, alarmed and with full hands, attempted to adjust his weight at the last moment, gravity had other plans in store for the trio. It was the final straw to tip them over ruthlessly. “Fu—” After several other unlucky folks and lost possessions, Arjan and Lynn would too capsize and join Felix again in the lake's icy grasp.
