Roman is a child born to a Loren and Brooklyn Ashenvale, a couple of Muggles who moved from Canada when they were younger and birthed and raised Roman in England. While his parents have rather obvious Canadian accents, Roman has kind of an odd mixture between the two, having been raised his entire life up to this point within England so he does have a Canadian accent, it's much less notable. Roman's father Loren was a teacher who had got a job teaching University classes and had moved there with his wife Brooklyn. Much similar to his father, Roman had been a very fast learner, even from an incredibly young age. He had been speaking relatively fluently when he was around three and had started learning how to read while he was merely four years old. He had learned many things about colours and the names of different shades. He always loved drawing and colouring and just like his mother Brooklyn had been born left handed. Throughout the years of elementary school he had become a very smart and studious student amongst the others, but always had much of a difficulty interacting with other people, most often only being talked to for assisting other students with their work. He was also not the best with many physical classes but had a very high perception, being able to notice even the smallest of movements incredibly quickly. Throughout his years learning in elementary school however, things were very soon quick to change. About two weeks after his first instance of magic his family were visited by a professor from Hogwarts, delivering Roman's letter and explaining everything to them as to what had happened and what they needed to do next. Over time and with the professor's help they had collected all of his required school supplies and Roman's first wand. When he received his first wand Mr. Ollivander explained to him that the wand's core was very rare and must be taken seriously, as it may be dangerous not for the two of them to stay in sync as the core was volatile and dangerous without guidance, similar to Roman himself. After everything was gathered and the day had come for him to take the Hogwarts Express, his parents gave him
FIRST INSTANCE OF MAGIC:
One day when Roman was playing a video game on his television, his mother came and told Roman he needed to take a bath. He was in the middle of the level and had not yet saved, already being very frustrated with the game already. He ignored his mother and eventually, she simply turned off his game without any warning or anything. Roman was furious and his anger was not to quelled as he was more or less dragged to the bathroom to take his bath. Character race/talent: Anastasia's fathers family are almost 100% from Slytherin. They are a proud family, with questionable morals and beliefs. His parents moved to America with him when he was a young child. Both of his parents were parsel mouths, and it was a hard blow when they found out that their son was not only talent-less, but also a squib. They took care of him for as long as necessary, but ultimately disowned him when he came of age. They considered him an extreme disappointment. However, several years later when he had a child, they seemed to have hope. Even though they were still furious at him for marrying the girl he chose, they showed 'favor' on Anastasia in the hopes that she would have a better outcome over her father. When Anastasia was about 4, their parents forbid any magic to come near her, trying to raise her as a muggle away from what they thought was a terrible world of magic. Anastasia's grandparents were furious and the mental and legal battles began. However, there was nothing they could do to prevent this as Anastasia's upbringing and they waited it out to see what would happen when she turned 11. Throughout childhood Anastasia would give her parents extreme worries. She was an extremely intelligent girl, and good tempered, but they soon found out that she was able to manipulate the kids around her much easier than they were comfortable with. Anastasia quickly learned from a young age that there are many things you can do to get the desired outcome, as long as you know the person. When magical accidents began occurring, Anastasia became more of a target for bullies. However, Anastasia used her seemingly innocent demeanor and friendly personality to make herself a target before they were able to get in their blows. When they moved once more, Anastasia now had transferred to home school because of her parents concerns. After completing her work early in the day Anastasia would go out on her own, often to bring back her 'friends', often either fuzzy or scaly sorts, to her parents. Her mother and father knew that they was a likelihood of her grandparents abilities weighing in on her, so they enrolled her in as many things as possible to limit her free time. However, after several more accidents among bullies, her parents grew increasingly worried. Anastasia however, felt perfectly fine, knowing that she had people on her side. She was able to face the fighting with a smile, even when accidents occurred. Her parents were confused slightly by her conflicting personalities and actions, but pushed it off as child hood problems. When Anastasia was around 9, her parents fears were confirmed when she slipped in and out of speaking in parseltongue unknowingly for a couple of days. They quickly sat Anastasia down and explained why they thought she must stop, but Anastasia had no idea what they were talking about. These spells continued until she was almost 10 years old and they finally realized they had to do something. They took Anastasia aside and explained the world of Wizardry to her, also telling her about her unique ability.
They then tried to convince her to give up magic, but Anastasia instead thought the idea was wonderful. While she could not control her speaking in parsel tongue, she was always excited about the ability, and was always asking about her grandparents' own ability. Her episodes stopped, but her parents were still wary to bring her out in public in case they should begin again. Instead they tried to smooth things over and go back to normal. However a few months after her 10nth Birthday, unbeknownst to her parents, Anastasia again had more episodes of slipping into short periods of speaking in this unknown tongue. Once the spell was over, she felt something click. On the brief moments that she was free from activities, she would go out into the woods near her house to practice speaking with those who really got her, the snakes. She felt more control over it, and was practicing to be able to speak and switch between it and English at will, but refused to let her parents know in case they might ban her from practicing.
However it wasn't all fun and games. She was soon discovered by her Mother's parents when they showed up for winter holidays. They had not seen Anastasia since she was an infant and were glad to see that she had gotten their trademark blue eyes instead of the almost red-brown or emerald green of her fathers side. However, their delight soon turned to one of anger when they learned that her parents had not only removed traces of magic from the home, but also when they caught Anastasia speaking in her new language. After a very forceful fight, Anastasia was told to try her best never to use her ability. Anastasia just nodded, but she continued to use it in secret. She never used it in the presence of muggles either, as the only muggles who had ever heard her speak in that were so terrified at the grocery store that they declared her possessed and refused to talk to her parents again.
When Anastasia turned 11 and got her letter, her parents were horrified. When a second letter finally arrived they sat Anastasia down and gave her the whole story, but were shocked to see Anastasia delighted instead of confused. While waiting for the starting date, her grandparents finally arrived elated. There was much family tension in the visit, but it seemed her grandparents were doting over her and the possibility of restored honor. The visit ended abruptly when they came upon the subject of parsel mouths.

She herself was always seen as the victim, but those who would start the fights saw that there was a lot more to her than smiles and handshakes. From an early age she had mastered the art of manipulation to get her way, despite trying to also be as friendly as possible. These moves and accidents continued until she turned 10. A year of seemingly unremarkable events, only sprinkled with accidents, albeit bigger ones, eventually led to her 11th birthday, where she received her letter from Hogwarts. Her parents were upset, but with a little persuasion and the visit of her grandparents. Anastasia was finally permitted to attend.

The Thorleys, Jacob's fathers family, and the Ashtons, Jacobs mothers family, are a pair of old aristocratic pureblooded families, meaning Jacob lived an incredibly privileged childhood, often being spoilt rotten. Yet equally, there was much expectation him, as the sole heir to both families. Being that both families are old, they still hold old fashioned views on many things, particularly around Blood Status, which Jacob began to pick up on as he grew older. These views were encouraged by his family, and the many tutors that his parents had hired to provide him with a basic education. Whilst he was still very young, much of his time was spent around these tutors, and various nannies, as his father was exceedingly busy with work, and his mother had her own duties to attend to.
Jacobs father works as an Auror, holding a reputation of being incredibly efficient, and skilled at his job. His mother, however, did not work, instead acting as a socialite and representative of both families, manouvering in various social gatherings for pure-blooded families, or families of ministry workers. Jacob was dragged along to many of these meetings ever since he turned eight, where he was deemed to be mature enough that he would not be a risk to their image. As he grew, he came to despise these meetings, but every value that he had been taught, told him that it was a necessary duty for an heir, so he put on a brave face.
Jacob aspires to follow in his fathers footsteps, having developed an interest in Defence Against the Dark Arts, prior to even having started Hogwarts, after listening to his father recall his various exploits on the job. This interest was fostered, and encouraged by his parents, buying him any books, or resources that he wanted, whenever he developed a new interest or hobby.

When Jacob was still a young child, his mother had placed his toy on a shelf far out of his reach, and despite his best efforts at trying to find a way to climb, and retrieve it. He was completely unable to find anyway up, and began to feel annoyed. As this frustration grew, suddenly the shelf that was holding his toy snapped, causing all the books, and his toy, to come clattering down onto the ground. Without him even realising, causing that shelf to snap had been his first instance of magic.

Character Backstory:
Born on the 21st of February in the year of 2012 in London, England. Anthony was born into a Pure-blood family to his Father, Alexander Kingsmage, and his mother, Aqua Kingsmage.
His parents often kept him from muggles, therefore found tutors who homeschooled him on various subjects of the wizarding world. Among his favorites of these subjects included a prequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, and a lighter version of The History of Magic.
He tried not to fill his mind with the magical possibilities that may approach him later in life, knowing that if he tried it wouldn't count as unintentional magic, but he couldn't help but be fascinated by books such as The Basic Book of Spells and Dueling Spells 101.
A common misconception of Pure-blooded wizards, one that always seemed to aggravate Anthony, is that they hate any other bloodline and see themselves as superior. These instances may the case with some families, but are nonexistent in the Kingsmage legacy. In fact, Anthony's Parents work for the Ministry of Magic within the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, specifically in the Muggle Liaison Office, to help keep our worlds separate for the overall safety of both of our society's.
Anthony never made many friends, wanting to focus on his studies and his parents keeping him from muggles. When Anthony asked why he could never interact with muggles his parents simply replied, "For their protection, and for ours." Anthony was 10-years old when it happened. On September 11th, 2011 his grandmother, Eliza Tempest, sadly passed away. The wind started to pick up and that is when Anthony saw a small storm cloud in the middles of his room, swirling with the light winds, twinkling with the light drops of rain, and crackling with a single tiny bolt of lightning.
The storm seemed to wake up Anthony's parents as well, as they barged into his room at first worried, then dumbfounded and joyous at the same time. His mother lifted her wand at said 'Meteolojinx Recanto!" Slowly the rain stopped and the cloud dispersed. With the conflicting emotions of joy and sadness within them, his parents settled in with their son, and confirmed that this was indeed unintentional magic due to strong emotions.

Born on the 21st of February in the year of 2012 in London, England. Anthony was born into a Pure-blood family to his Father, Alexander Kingsmage, and his mother, Aqua Kingsmage.
His parents often kept him from muggles, therefore found tutors who homeschooled him on various subjects of the wizarding world. Among his favorites of these subjects included a prequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, and a lighter version of The History of Magic.
He tried not to fill his mind with the magical possibilities that may approach him later in life, knowing that if he tried it wouldn't count as unintentional magic, but he couldn't help but be fascinated by books such as The Basic Book of Spells and Dueling Spells 101.
A common misconception of Pure-blooded wizards, one that always seemed to aggravate Anthony, is that they hate any other bloodline and see themselves as superior. These instances may the case with some families, but are nonexistent in the Kingsmage legacy. In fact, Anthony's Parents work for the Ministry of Magic within the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes, specifically in the Muggle Liaison Office, to help keep our worlds separate for the overall safety of both of our society's.
Anthony never made many friends, wanting to focus on his studies and his parents keeping him from muggles. When Anthony asked why he could never interact with muggles his parents simply replied, "For their protection, and for ours." The great grandfather of the mother of Caïn had the ability to talk to snakes, and some of their ancestors too, this ability stayed silent for some generations and has manifested itself while Caïn was looking at the snake he grew with, the ability to talk to snakes may have more chance to manifest itself with a child who grew with snakes around as the mouth and tongue of a baby changes physically to adapt and mimic the mother tongue (the language he commonly hears) and one day, while Caïn was looking at the snake, the snake asked why he was looking at him.
Surprised, he just had run away from the snake. Being a pretty discret child, he did not talk of that event to his family and avoided the snake for some weeks but, tired of dodging the snake, he went back to him and started looking at him, waiting for him to talk again, which the snake did asking the same question but this time Caïn answered, and they started having a pretty normal conversation even thought Caïn did not and still doesn’t like to talk to people, he seems to be very talkative with the family’s snake and his little sister.
And, as he grows, he met more snakes, some weird, some kind, some rude, and revealed to be really talkative to all non-human, trees, animals, but, only snakes answered so he prefers snake which are his favorites animals. Every time he sees one, he stay with it and admire it and when or if they are alone he starts a conversation and makes sure nobody can hear him. He consider that talent to be a “divine gift” or at least something that permit him to not feel extremely alone.
That being said, it suits himself pretty good since he does look like a snake or should I say, he does look like what we would see from a snake. I mean by that, he’s really cold and vicious and as if it wasn’t enough, we can even say he’s evil and rude as other Parselmouths could be like Slytherin and Herpo practicing dark arts or Slytherin being against muggle-born. Also, being a discret person, Caïn would not talk about it directly to people especially strangers like professors or students or even his family. Actually, the only person informed of his talent is his mother who understood when her husband, the father of Caïn, told her he was making weird noises to the snake and the snake seems to answer, since he isn’t a wizard he doesn’t know what that means but the mother does and, she kept it secret and didn’t talk about it to Caïn knowing his personality nor to their family for the same reasons.
When he has been sorted in Griffindor house, he didn’t really understand why or how, since he is a parselmouth, loves snakes more than any other animal, thinks he is similar to a snake in his comportment, etc. And this made him question himself but, he decided to not pay a lot of attention to it and even found a good way to hide this talent.

Caïn was born the first january 2012 in a pretty average family composed by a wizard mother, a muggle father, two big, half-blood, twin brothers.
His mother is a wizard born from two wizards, and she works really much to permit her family to live decently, she also is kind of greedy and materialist but besides that she is pretty kind to her family and friends even thought she is a bit authoritarian.
She is born in russia in a really good family but, because of political convictions, she has been "forced without being forced" (the comportment of her family towards her made her leave) and met the father of Caïn in London and live with him and among muggles even thought she works with wizards.
His dad, is a muggle born from two muggles, he's a really kind one by the way, really naive and has a playful personality but that makes him a lot unbearable and stuffy. He has a poor salary but as the concierge of their appartement he doesn't mind since he can keep an eye opened on his children and pay attention to them. He is born in London and stayed here all his life until his parents died, he then visited the entire world squandering his legacy by fulfilling his parents dream of visiting the entire world. He then returned to London and stayed here until now, creating a family with his new wizard wife he met when he returned to London.
He was late to speak (he took his time) and pronounced his first words at the age of 2 years old, his first little sentence at the age of 3 years and his first logical sentence at the age of 4-5 years old. He doesn't really like to talk except when he lets people know about this, when he talks to his sister or when he's really angry at someone or when he is alone with their snake Ophiuchus (he talks to the snake or to himself) If parseltongue talent denied: even thought the snake doesn't answer, since he isn't a parseltongue.
Caïn is a half-blood, that means he had 50% chance to born as a squib and 50% chance to born a wizard... So until his first instance of accidental underaged wandless magic, he went to a muggle school and had a big muggle education and a little wizard education at the house, especially from his brothers since his mother isn't too much present.
While he was in his muggle school, he didn't really blend with people his age since he wasn't, and still isn't, talkative and kind off rude with other people which created problems pretty often and had to go see the headmaster or different professors because of his comportment.
Even with all that, people still supported him as he stayed quiet the majority of the time except when people started conversations, even thought, he still isn't really talkative, just a bit evil, rude, etc.
At the age of eight year old, when his first instance of magic happened (a potato story), he finished his muggle school year then have been took out, he then have been a lot more educated for the wizard world and a lot less for the muggle world. Since his family didn't necessarily had time for this he learnt a lot from books but that wasn't his main source of knowledge.
He then access Hogwarts the 1st September 2023 with a bit of... Happiness, of being able to control whenever he's alone or not, his family being a bit... "Too much present" even thought they aren't really so much present, but it's almost always too much for Caïn.
First Instance of Magic: At the age of eight years old, he accidentally made one of his cooked potato explode in the hand of his father by anger, Caïn was angry his dad stole him one of HIS potatoes (not a big deal but he hates it when someone touches his food).

She is a kind girl, always looking to help others in any way that she can, or save the world around her. In general, Kiera is just very caring, so if something matters to someone else, she will be right on her way to help. You can always find Kiera with her nose in a book, one of her many hobbies includes reading romance novels, her favourite, or even a mystery novel.
Prior to coming to Hogwarts, Kiera was living in a huge manor with her parents and her little sister. They were a pretty close-knit family, always did thing and went out to places together. Kiera especially loved her little sister though, she was like her best friend. They would all travel to warm places all across the world like Mexico, places in the Caribbean, Florida and Miami. One of Keira’s other hobbies is going to the beach. Once when she was nine years old, Kiera was building sand castles, and a huge wave came up and knocked it down. She was super upset, it was one of the best sand castles she ever made. Luckily, when she grabbed the pieces of sand that had been used to make it, they magically rebuilt right before her eyes. At first she thought it was a dream but realized it may be more than that.

Felix was born March 30th, 2012, in Plymouth, to parents Amandus Hawthorne and Kenna Preece. A girl at his school was the victim of Felix's second case of accidental magic, when he was nine. Her hair caught on fire as she was walking away from him. She wasn't burned otherwise and the teachers were never able to trace it back to him, nor find a proper reason. That was when his father first told Felix about Hogwarts.

Character Backstory: Angela was brought up in muggle London. Born at 10:17 P.M. on Saturday the 6th of September, in Saint Thomas’s hospital. Her parents are two muggles, Bonnie and Alexander Demetriou. Her father, Alexander, was born and raised in Greece before moving to London for college at the University of London. Her mother, Bonnie, was born in Scotland. She lived there until she met Alexander when he traveled to Scotland for a project he was working on. They got married on December 31, 2009. Her father is a Chief Financial Officer at HSBC and her mother is a Drama and Theatre teacher at St. Paul’s Girls School.
When her parents met it was a sunny day in 2005, Stirling Scotland was bustling with action. Bonnie was doing a street performance singing with a small band of friends, when Alexander walked past and saw her. He stood and watched for hours wasting away a whole day of research. Once her show was over Alexander went and introduced himself to Bonnie. It was love at first sight, they hit it off and she ran away with him back to London. They got married 4 years later at Kensington Roof gardens. They went on their honeymoon to Alexander’s home country of Greece visiting all of the beautiful architecture there.
Both of Angela's parents were in her life for all of it. When Angela was 6 she got a new baby brother welcomed into the world name Archie after her Great Grandfather. When she turned 7 her mother and father bought her a black pug for christmas which she named Jeremy.
Angela had been what some would call an odd ball while growing up. She went to Haberdashers’ School for Girls. She tried to get along with the girls there but it was difficult for her. All the girls at her school liked wearing makeup, and being good. But Angela liked being wild more, she liked running around with the boys from Haberdashers’ School for Boys because they ran, they got dirty, they played in the dirt they didn’t sit on their stairs not saying anything to each other. She did have two female friends, her best friend Anne Melovich, a girl she met when she was 4 and was very close with until she went to Hogwarts. Along with another girl named Harper, who she met at the age of 7 on the playground.

Character Backstory: A young blonde haired, blued eyed boy with a thick Australian accent named Joshua was born on June 18 in sunny Sydney, Australia. He lived around magic all his life, his father a powerful wizard named Jack and Mother a witch named Lizzie. He loved being with his parents he always liked to help them with anything they needed help with. He was a hard-working, fun-loving, happy boy who wanted to be like his parents someday. When he turned five years old, his dad got an owl from the Ministry about a job in magical law enforcement. He and his parents moved from sunny Sydney to the busy streets of London. When he turned seven, he finally experienced his form of magic. When his parents saw what happened, they were very proud of him. After that day, his father showed him things he could do so he wouldn't have an accident from not knowing how to use his magic before the day he were to get his letter from hogwarts. He never let his magical abilities keep him from making friends and having fun. He would run in the London streets with the friends had made since he first moved there with his parents so his father could be near work. His favorite thing to do was go to honeydukes and the ice cream shop and going on outings with his parents in general.

Character Backstory: A young blonde haired, blued eyed boy with a thick Australian accent named Joshua was born on June 18 in sunny Sydney, Australia. He lived around magic all his life, his father a powerful wizard named Jack and Mother a witch named Lizzie. He loved being with his parents he always liked to help them with anything they needed help with. He was a hard-working, fun-loving, happy boy who wanted to be like his parents someday. When he turned five years old, his dad got an owl from the Ministry about a job in magical law enforcement. He and his parents moved from sunny Sydney to the busy streets of London. When he turned seven, he finally experienced his form of magic. When his parents saw what happened, they were very proud of him. After that day, his father showed him things he could do so he wouldn't have an accident from not knowing how to use his magic before the day he were to get his letter from hogwarts. He never let his magical abilities keep him from making friends and having fun. He would run in the London streets with the friends had made since he first moved there with his parents so his father could be near work. His favorite thing to do was go to honeydukes and the ice cream shop and going on outings with his parents in general.

- Thank you for creating a character encyclopedia page. Please make sure to link it, yours still goes to your profile card. Proper url.
- When you make edits to your character sheet/encyclopedia, contact the person working your case (in this instance Maya) so that they know that edits have been made. This will make the process go much faster because this is a very long thread for the staff and your application will be quickly buried.
- Your stats for your trunk need to be edited. You have in your application different stats than you do in your trunk.
- We will need documented proof of class completion for the list of spells you have provided. This is most commonly done post validation. I recommend keeping it blank (empy) where spells go and then apply for the trunk update in this thread. Please take notice how they are sharing images of their completed lessons from their report card, this serves as proof.
