Caïn Tawdry, First year, Gryffindor

Pre-Hogwarts

Caïn was born the first january 2012 in a pretty average family composed by a wizard mother, a muggle father, two big, half-blood, twin brothers.

His mother is a wizard born from two wizards, and she works really much to permit her family to live decently, she also is kind of greedy and materialist but besides that she is pretty kind to her family and friends even thought she is a bit authoritarian.
She is born in russia in a really good family but, because of political convictions, she has been "forced without being forced" (the comportment of her family towards her made her leave) and met the father of Caïn in London and live with him and among muggles even thought she works with wizards.

His dad, is a muggle born from two muggles, he's a really kind one by the way, really naive and has a playful personality but that makes him a lot unbearable and stuffy. He has a poor salary but as the concierge of their appartement he doesn't mind since he can keep an eye opened on his children and pay attention to them. He is born in London and stayed here all his life until his parents died, he then visited the entire world, squandering his legacy by fulfilling his parents dream of visiting the entire world. He then returned to London and stayed here until now, creating a family with his new wizard wife he met when he returned to London.

He was late to speak (he took his time) and pronounced his first words at the age of 2 years old, his first little sentence at the age of 3 years and his first logical sentence at the age of 4-5 years old. He doesn't really like to talk except when he lets people know about this, when he talks to his sister or when he's really angry at someone or when he is alone with their snake Ophiuchus.

Caïn is a half-blood, that means he had 50% chance to born as a squib and 50% chance to born a wizard... So until his first instance of accidental underaged wandless magic, he went to a muggle school and had a big muggle education and a little wizard education at the house, especially from his brothers since his mother isn't too much present.
While he was in his muggle school, he didn't really blend with people his age since he wasn't, and still isn't, talkative and kind off rude with other people which created problems pretty often and had to go see the headmaster or different professors because of his comportment.
Even with all that, people still supported him as he stayed quiet the majority of the time except when people started conversations, even thought, he still isn't really talkative, just a bit evil, rude, etc.

At the age of eight year old, when his first instance of magic happened (a potato story: ), he finished his muggle school year then have been took out, he then have been a lot more educated for the wizard world and a lot less for the muggle world. Since his family didn't necessarily had time for this he learnt a lot from books but that wasn't his main source of knowledge.

He then access Hogwarts the 1st September 2023 with a bit of... Happiness, of being able to control whenever he's alone or not, his family being a bit... "Too much present" even thought they aren't really so much present, but it's almost always too much for Caïn.

Mental aspect

The little Caïn is really cold with people he doesn't know and even colder with people he knows (except some people). He doesn't talk a lot and often lost himself in his mind.
He likes seeing people lose and he likes winning against people, he also likes confrontation (by that I mean ALL confrontation, competition in general, physical fight, chess game, fencing dual, etc. he likes confrontation in all ways), he also LOVES his sister.

He hates it when there are too much people near him, when people talks too much or are too demonstrative, but the thing he hates the most is when people touch his food or his skin without his consent, when people touch or use anything that is HIS basically.
He's pretty calm and stay in his corner most of the time except to challenge people (he doesn't mind losing but will try harder to win next time).

He may have some insecurities as he often overthinks what could go wrong instead of what could go well, how to avoid problems or how to not get some of how to makes things better or how to feel good.
A bit hard to explain but i think it is easy to understand.

Finally, I'd say he has a pretty big self-control and a strong mental strenght even thought he has some issues with people.




Anyway, to define myself in some sentences I will say, my name is Caïn Tawdrry, I am what I am and that's all what I am, but you won't hear me a lot anyway so who care ?

Physical aspect

Caïn may be a little bit small boy for his age (12), approximately 1m40 for 35kg the 1st September 2023 (he grew and took some weight).
Blonde hair and grey eyes.
He has some scars but not too much (he hid them from his parents, since he's a bit clumsy he often get some and his mother heals most of them but being some of a discrete person he doesn't show them, usually his mother just find out, heal it and that's it).
He has a weak body, I mean, weak bones, weak muscles, slow voice... Small and tiny he also have a weird way to stand, to walk, to talk too.

Anyway, I'm weak, yes, it's true. But I'll always find another way to give you what you deserve, don't worry about that now... Or should I say... Don't worry, now.
