Reason for Reapplication: Removal due to inactivity

Sadly, Tristan’s third year was derailed by the passing of his beloved tutor in a car accident. It awakened trauma of the death of his best friend who died in a similar manner only a couple of years ago. Unable to function optimally and with a return of his depression, his parents took him back home for the rest of the year and sent him to muggle therapy in order to help him recover fully from the deeply saddening event. Now fully recovered he is ready to start his year over, hopefully to finish.

Hiatus Explanation

Reducio Rafa was pulled out of Hogwarts temporarily due to his father's arrest and the following court case. He has been privately tutored in the time he's been away. The rationale behind this is that, his mother wanted to shield him and his sister from possible news surrounding his father's case to the best of her ability. As for the crime, I am completely happy leaving this ambiguous, but in case an exact description is necessary: Living in a high-crime neighborhood, Rafael’s father observed that crime has the capacity to generate more money than honest work. When the D’Spacitos moved to London, Miguel decidedly worked for the ministry for a few years, before one of his co-workers privately invited him to participate in a high-income criminal venture. Miguel snapped and decided that he was ready to try something that would earn him 'real money.' Using magic and his affinity for muggle things, he worked tirelessly with a few other men to find a way to perfectly forge muggle currency (in US dollars). A couple of years into this venture, he was arrested with several of his accomplices and tried in court.

Family Backstory Additions

Reducio Rafa's backstory has some loose ends I intend to take care of. Rafael moved from Argentina to the UK when he was around eight years old following the death of his sister and an attempted kidnapping of himself (incidents not related). He does not currently know he is a pureblood. This information has not been explained in his originally approved bio, so I would like to add the following information: - Rafael's parents, both of pureblood descent, decided to marry against the wishes of their respective families and were both disowned. (The families used their pull to make it extremely difficult for the family to gain job opportunities in Argentina.) Without money or clout in the magical world, the parents were only able to afford minimum-wage muggle jobs and the family lived a subsequently poor life. - The younger sister passed away of sickness because the family was too bitter over magic to get it treated at a wizard hospital and it got out of hand that was magical in nature. This spurred some of the family's anti-magical sentiments. (Added 6/4) - After Rafael is almost kidnapped as a fourth grader, the mother's pureblood family takes pity and reaches out, demanding that the family move in with Maria's sister for the sake of the kids. They fund Rafael's and his older sister's tutoring and help Miguel get a job at the Ministry. - Rafa will learn this information when he asks his aunt (Maria's sister), who's house he is crashing at while the court case is ongoing. She decides to finally tell him because she feels he deserves to know.

Surname Change (to Waincroft)

Reducio Explanation: While Miguel was forging money, Maria was getting frustrated with her husband's lack of presence and asked for a divorce. Miguel refused a few times but ultimately signed off and they started working through the paperwork. Then, a few months later, Miguel was caught by authorities. During the ensuing court case, Maria started seeing one of her coworkers and decided to marry him towards the end of the year. She got her children’s legal names changed so they wouldn’t have to carry the legacy of a criminal with them.

The reason surrounding Rafa's sister's death sounds very much like child neglect, which is against our rules. What could work is that the illness was magical and the magical world has no cure for it.
