Hello everyone!

For those who do or do not know me, I am M, the writer behind Adlai Rod!
For a long time I was hoping my next post in this forum would be me announcing my return to the site after a long and spotty unannounced hiatus, however those hopes did not come to fruition. Instead I am writing this post to make the unfortunate announcement that I will be leaving the site with no plans of returning anytime soon.

If anyone has taken notice, I have not been extremely active on the site since the new year and frankly even a bit before that. This of course all due to the personal changes in my life. I am very happy to share that I started college, was hired onto my first job, have a very loving group of friends who I see regularly and a loving significant other who spoils me more than they should.
However, in order to make room for these new joys I am having to leave some joys behind, one of those joys unwittingly being H.io.

Overall H.io has been a marvelous experience and something I will never forget. During my extended period of quarantine at the height of covid it was my escape and the friends it brought me were beyond creative and true. The site allowed me to expand my own creative ability and writing portfolio all while exploring the world of a book series I've loved for so, so long.

I'd like to thank everyone for the hand they put in to make this site great and I hope one day, if and when I do return to see it thriving more then ever with great new talent and maybe even see some old faces in the crowd.

I'll miss you all, don't forget to take care of yourselves and your characters.

You have my permission to reference Adlai, her family, her snake, her role in any clubs, or relationships she has had with any other characters to further the plot of your stories.

For the sake of all plots where Adlai was involved we will claim that she has simply fallen into the background of the school, withdrawing herself from all possible drama or tense scenarios in order to live a quite and happy school life looking over her friends and sisters who attend school with her.
