This didn't stop when it came to Everett. In his pureblood family they had raised him from an early age to be an exemplary practitioner of this. There was no lady that would open her own door around him, no person to be left unescorted if they needed assistance wherever they needed to go. He was quite the, well... charmer. His smile left grandmas pinching his cheeks, and girls his age developing the cutest of young crushes on him. Although, he always had to politely turn them down due to his early discovery of his gayness. It really didn't come as surprise to anybody around him and he was lucky to be in a supportive environment, but generally he was still in the closet for the most part in his town. This almost added to his charm, the unattainable preppy boy. People tried to get him to crack, to be his first girlfriend, but they never succeeded and they always seemed to leave feeling dazed by his soft words and silver tongue. He was a horned serpent after all. In addition to his training in politeness and grace, he also spent unending hours in his families library, reading anything that he could get his hands on. Which wasn't hard, his library was huge and he was lucky enough to have the wealth that could get him any additional book at the snap of his fingers. This only lent a hand when it came to Everett's smooth talking and expansive vocabulary. Romance novels taught him to be suave, how to pull a girl in. Granted, they were adult tactics that he had to mold to suit his childish desires. A signature of his was greeting someone new with a kiss upon their hand if they let him. No gender was safe from this greeting, he believed anyone should get the joy of being pulled in by him. Not just the ladies. Everett already had a pretty big ego for someone his age. Growing up with people around him giving him such high praise for such little things gave him the confidence he needed to glide through life without a care. Granted, he was learning the hard way that he could definitely trip up and fail in making relationships with others. Learning how to interact had been a slippery slope, but even then he managed to charm his way out of nearly every awkward situation. Or, if all else failed, just never spoke to that person again. Word Count || 432[/reducio]

♢ 2nd Year Ability ♢ Perfectionist ♢ [reducio]Everett felt lucky that he grew up in a household that always pushed him to succeed, but not to any degree that caused him an unneeded amount of stress. He was allowed to still be a kid, to mess up every now and again, with constant encouragement to try better the next time. It felt right that he ended up in the house of the Horned Serpent, the house of the mind and of scholars. It was a continuation of that encouragement to succeed, to always be doing better. While studying by the book was more his speed, his essays and speeches alike being his specialty besides spellcasting, as a wizard he knew the importance of doing well in his practical studies too. When he wasn't reading or writing, he was practicing. He took diligent notes in class about everything about a spell. While some saw the etymology of a spell as useless in casting, he saw it as another bit of information to help him perform the spell perfectly. Sure, he did love learning etymology in general, but he approached spell learning with a type of respect towards the craft. If anyone were to catch him, he would vehemently deny giving his wand a little pep talk before practice session. But his wand was his instrument of success, and his parents emphasized how important keeping a good relationship with your wand was, as if it was its own sentient entity. Every part of his spellwork took patience and dedication. There was no part that was undervalued, no part that was skipped. If he was in a rush to practice he didn't practice at all, for a rushed practice was practically useless to him. There was a mindset that was involved, a deep breath, and practicing the components separately. The incantation, the wand movement, the concentration, then all together. By no means was he a particularly naturally gifted spellcaster, it is why he practiced so hard outside of his studies. Something many of his friends didn't really even know about him. It wasn't something he was ashamed of, but it was something that he cherished in his private life. The countless hours of practice he would put into spells made backfires rarely happen. A well practiced headspace of his craft, muscles that had memorized every wand movement he had learned so far. To his classmates he seemed like a flawless natural, but he and his family knew just how much work he constantly put into his studies to succeed and fly above the rest of his class. Word Count || 427[/reducio]

♢ 3rd Year Ability ♢ Paragon of Health ♢ [reducio]The young Horned Serpent was a keen people watcher. He quite enjoyed relaxing in a public area by himself to watch the others around him. His mom and himself quite enjoyed doing it during the hot Georgia summers, either at cafes or the occasional beach trip. While they did talk, she taught him how to notice different things about people. To look at a whole person, their movements, the way they stood, the look in their eyes, where they were looking. He valued his time with his mom and felt like that time with her helped him now in Ilvermorny. While he was absolutely a novice at reading people since he was still... well a child at heart. Sometimes he believed the best in people when they would later lead them astray. This keen skill of observation had turned into something else in his time at Ilvermorny. An aura of control over a situation, of calm and assuredness, surrounded him. Even in a group of Hogdorks during a Wizard Chess Combat, he stayed calm and alert as the [s]Princess[/s] Queen. Despite one of his compatriots being constantly set on fire. He had taken the role of firefighter, putting her out as needed. Staying aware of who needed assistance. Who was moving as if they were injured, did someone need just some emotional motivation. He certainly was not winning any awards for extraordinary kindness, but when he was with people he knew he needed to take care of he would. It was something that always made him wish that he had younger siblings, people to take care of from a young age so he could've harnessed this skill at an earlier age. With parents by his side all of his life there was really no need for it. But Ilvermorny had changed him for the better, and going into his third year he was getting better and better at being competent for others. In times of stress or strife he was there for the people that he cared for, they could trust him to be the one that was hypervigilant, in control. Inside he would be stressed out of his mind, panicking at trying to maintain a collected composition to lead everyone to safety, or to victory. But it was a burden he happily took upon his shoulders. It was something that made him feel capable, like the leader that he was meant to be. If you were by his side you were taken care of and that was a fact. Stephen had always been a naturally gifted athlete, but he did not rest on his natural abilities alone. He worked hard at perfecting them and honing them. He was a star forward on his basketball team back in Moraga, California before attending Ilvermorny for this past year as a first year wizard. He was also tall for his age. That helped in basketball for sure, but as a broom racer, it presented a certain set of new problems.
He was 5’2” when he entered Ilvermorny, but he had continued to grow, as one would suspect a healthy, strapping young teenage boy to do. He was now 5’4”, and still taller than most of his classmates, but he was not lanky or clumsy looking. He wore his height proportionately well. Exercise kept his body pumped full of endorphins and his mind clear and able to focus on the things most important to him. He had developed a rather specific workout routine that was both arduous and fun. At least to Stephen it was fun. In addition to his daily cross country running regimen and his broom flying practices and drills, not to mention the occasional pick up games of basketball that he would join in on if he could spare the time from his studies, he also lifted weights. By any set of metrics used, Stephen was in phenomenal shape. His reflexes were quick, sharp, and on point.
He had noticed just the slightest bit of sluggishness in dodging abilities after returning back to school from winter break, however. He at first attributed it to the fact that his routine had slacked off just a bit while on vacation, but even after getting back into it hard for a month after the start of the second term, he was still noting it, especially up on his broom. His center of gravity was everything when flying, and he was finding it just a little more uncomfortable on his broom. As he was a boy with an engineer mindset, he put quite a lot time and energy into diagnosing the problem for the onset of his broom issues. What he finally determined was that his height may be an issue and though he was in excellent shape, perhaps he could be a little more nimble. This is when he added Pilates to his regimen. He wanted to stretch and elongate his muscles while strengthening his core. Flexibility was the key to his problem, he was certain.
It stood to reason that were he to become a more lithe broom racer, his sluggishness would dissipate. This would allow him to hug his broom even more closely and, he suspected, improve his ability and quick timing to dodge and change course if necessary while not fearing that his strength would fail him or that his center of gravity would shift without warning when a fast maneuver needed to be made. It took a little bit of time to get used to it, but Stephen found it had paid off nice dividends on his timing when flying. The issues he had noticed when coming back from winter break seemed to no longer be an issue for him, and for that, he was most pleased. (WC: 538)

He has been obsessed since the age of four with the desire to be an astronaut. The idea of being part of an extraordinarily elite few who may one day be rocketed into space to colonize Mars was the epitome of his grandest dreams. And from a young age, mentored and guided by his best friend's astronaut father, Stephen had learned to control impulses and focus his energies where he felt they would do him the most good in order to achieve his dreams. He spent endless hours practicing advanced mathematical problems and honing his skills on the basketball court. He was early for practice and generally last to leave. He always looked for opportunities to expand his knowledge and then apply it. When he learned about the combustion engine and how it worked, he could not rest until he had taken his mother's engine apart and put it all back together. He was a doer. He was a thinker. He was an adventurer. And because he realized the dangers of what his dreams could ultimately lead to, Stephen endeavored to obliterate every variable, under his control, that would lead to anything less than a perfect outcome. A mistake, even a small one, could lead to death, and that was just unacceptable. When he felt like his world had been tossed upside down and his dreams had been tossed aside as if they were nothing, he was initially angry and resentful when entering Ilvermorny. He did not want to be a wizard. He wanted to be an astronaut. Then he got to Ilvermorny and his resentment did not leave for a few months, but he could not help developing interests in Transfiguration, Astronomy, and Broom Racing. He had to admit, there was nothing like the thrill of zipping and zooming through the air at fantastic speeds and dizzying heights on a broom. Recognizing this may be as close to being an astronaut he may ever get, Stephen threw himself into his studies and practices. It was all paying off as his grades were consistently nothing but 'O's. He had even heard of something called Apparating which made him wonder if that could ever be possible to places beyond the bounds of this big blue marble. All research on the subject had led him to a definitive 'no', but Stephen believed no breakthroughs could ever be made and progress in everything, even magic, could be stalled and stagnate without visionaries. Until he learned differently, his goal was to see such a possibility become reality, and he would endeavor to prepare both his body and his mind in the pursuit of answers and practical advancements on this, and many other subjects.[/reducio] Evasive Maneuvers - Year 2 [reducio]Stephen had always been a naturally gifted athlete, but he did not rest on his natural abilities alone. Ilvermorny NPC

Name: His full name is Andy Nicholas Menton, but his parents, teachers, and friends call him Andy Menton, Andy, or AM
School: Ilvermorny, Thunderbird
Year: Second Year
Status: Pureblood
Appearance: Andy is 5'0 (152.4cm) and is of average height among boys around his age. He has a short straight brown year with bangs, looks pretty adorable with his piercing green-grey eyes, big ears, and pink thin lips, and has a light complexion. He is sometimes mistaken for a little girl, and he takes it as praise for his cuteness. He often wears comfortable red, brown and blue clothes when he is not wearing the school robe, because it is his favorite color, as it demonstrates his strong wind.
Personality: Andy is quite an introverted person and is quite shy and nervous when he is in a social situation. However, as soon as he knows someone better, he can be quite talkative and friendly to that person and is willing to share more of his personal feelings with them. Despite being a pureblood, he doesn`t discriminate against half-bloods and muggle-born wizards, as he is taught by his parents that everyone is equal in the wizarding world and should not be judged by looks, blood, race, or sexualities. Besides, he is a small boy with a strong will and is willing to fight against injustice and does not dare to risk his life when it comes to saving his friends and other people he cares about. He dreams to become an Auror in the Ministry of Magic (By Ministry of Magic, I mean the American Magical Congress which has the same function as the British ministry of magic, and all the Ministry of Magic below means the same) just like his dad. By the way, he is an ISFP.
History: Andy is born on September 9th, 2009, in Los Angeles, America, to Bruce Menton, a pureblood Auror in the American Ministry of magic, and Alice Menton (Birth name Alice Reimann), another pureblood wizard. He is the only child in the family, so he is well-educated and loved by both of his parents and has a happy and comfortable childhood. Due to his blood, he is home-schooled by his parents before he turns 11, and his parents told him he should never be proud of his pureblood and treat other wizards nicely regardless of their blood. His first experience of underaged magic was on his 7th birthday when his parents cooked a birthday cake for him, put the seven candles on, and put the cake on the table to celebrate his birthday party. They lit up the candles, sang the birthday song, and as soon as Andy put his face closer to the candles and opened his mouth to blow the candles out, the cake was cut into several pieces automatically. Andy was a bit confused by that, but his parents were glad, and told him, "Dear, that is a sign that you are a wizard just like us, and as soon as you turn 11, you will go to Ilvermorny just like us, where you can learn about magic and make new friends." He was always eager to turn 11 from that day, and on his 11th birthday in September 2020, he received a letter from Ilvermorny by an owl, as expected. He went to the school next September and was sorted to Thunderbird. By now, he has made a few friends and is gradually trying to overcome his shyness by interacting with people. (284 words)

Andy is definitely considered pretty for his age. With his straight brown ear with bangs, piercing green-grey eyes, pink lips, and clean white face, he looks extremely adorable and is sometimes mistaken for a little girl by others when his parents took him out for a walk on the streets, but he generally doesn`t mind and take it as a praise for his cuteness. His father Bruce takes pride in his charming look, saying his son inherited it from him since he is known for being a handsome Auror in the American Ministry of Magic, and often takes Andy to the ministry to meet other Aurors to show off how pretty his son was. As an introverted boy, he is extremely shy when he meets his father`s colleagues, but he also takes pride in his look and is glad that he inherited it from his father.
However, his charm does not only include his look. Some people may be considered good-looking but are not considered charming. Although being an introverted and shy boy, he looks at the person with his piercing green-grey eyes when he is truly interested in the person. The person can tell he is interested in what they are talking about. Besides, as long as he gets to know a person better, he treats that person nicely, always tries his best to help that person when they are in need and does not discriminate against people according to their race, gender, and blood. He also tries his best to overcome his shyness by trying to interact with different people and make new friends with people around his school and other magic schools. He also tries to balance out the masculine and feminine sides of his personality, such as being serious and strong at times, such as when it comes to trying to help and save other people, but he also has an innocent and vulnerable look to make people take pity on him. He can act as a natural leader sometimes, but he does not seem proud of his leading position and does not seem to be bossy to people by always telling people what to do. After all, charming is about balance, and he really is a charmer that can distract people from what they are concentrating on so that they lose focus and may lose the game they are playing when Andy is also participating in the game. WC: 414Olive, coming from a pureblood family, had a childhood full of magic. Because of her magical background, she was allowed to partake in many magical activities with her brother and her wizard friends. One of such activities was Quidditch. The first time Olive was given a broom was one of the happiest moments of her life. She felt instantly at ease in the air, flying high above all else. Her twin brother enjoyed flying as well, but not nearly as much as Olive did.
The two took to playing Quidditch, sometimes it was just the two of them, sometimes some of their friends joined in. One or twice a week, though Olive longed for more, they would assemble and form a game, playing for hours and hours. She always took the position of Chaser, as she would once she began schooling at Ilvermorny. She was quite good at the game, and she knew it. Somehow, she had more ready reflexes than the others she played with, which made it easier for her to intercept the Quaffle from her friends. She was slightly faster and more accurate than the others. When she saw even the smallest of opportunities, she was sure to take the chance. It was almost like a second nature to her.
When she received her admittance letter to Ilvermorny, her brother suggested she try out for the school's Quidditch team. Olive began to train herself to be quicker and even more precise. She wanted to see exactly how far she could go to ensure she would make the team. In the weeks leading up to the start of school, Olive worked tirelessly, feeling it was necessary to train every single second she was able. She practiced not only improving her reflexes, but technique and strategy as well. She was determined to practice until she knew without a doubt that she would make Ilvermorny's Quidditch team.
Her brother and friends did not show the same enthusiasm as her, preferring to partake in other joys of life. When Olive was training, they decided to get involved in other activities because for them Quidditch was just a game. For Olive, Quidditch was everything. When she tried out for the team, she made it. She was surprised, as she had been figuring they wouldn't want a first year on the team, no matter how hard she had worked. After she told her twin, he just smiled and told her he always knew she would make it.

[reducio]FEARLESS
Fearless. Olive Adair had never been one to scare easily. She would not jump at shadows on the wall or the legends made up to scare children. She laughed when the other children screamed in supposedly haunted places. She refused to act weak in the face of danger, spooks, or frights. She had mentally gotten it into her head that to act afraid was to act weak and to act weak was to be vulnerable.
As with all things, there was a reason behind her dauntless attitude. There had been an incident when she was younger that had caused her to refuse be be scared of anything. It had started with her dad telling her a silly story that night. A story made to scare children, but perhaps it hadn't been the right thing to tell to his four year old daughter and son.
She was playing with her twin without a care in the world when their dad came in to put them to bed. They both rejected the notion of sleep and continued to play, ignoring their dad's protests. Eventually they all came to a deal. He would tell them a story and in return they would go to bed. The story he decided on telling them was about a boggart.
He told them that boggarts showed them their worst fears and were always present in their nightmares. That unless they knew the spell to defeat it, it would never give up pursuing its victim. Not the things he should have been telling his toddlers, but oh well.
Both of his children were huddled up under their blankets with expressions of terror etched onto their faces. Their dad smiled knowingly and told his children that he had fulfilled his half of the deal and they had to fulfill their half of the deal now. They reluctantly crawled into their beds and fell to sleep after some tossing and turning.
Olive's eyes snapped open when she heard a thump from inside the wardrobe in her shared room. Her twin was fast asleep, unaffected by the noise, but she saw the wardrobe shudder and her eyes flew back to it. The door to the wardrobe was flung open, revealing a black mass with no defining form.
She yelped in fright and fell back against her pillows. The mass came forward slowly, hovering off the ground slightly. Olive whimpered as it spoke. "You are a failure Olive Adair. You have no one and you are unable to do anything right." Olive defended herself despite her fear. "Uhh uhh! I've got my brother and my dad. And I can draw right," the four year old said. "Do you?" it asked. Olive turned to see her brother was missing from his bed.
"Luke?" she asked worriedly. "He left you just like your mother did. Everyone leaves you." the mass declared with a triumphant smile. Olive screamed and started to cry and then she woke up. Luke and her dad were at her side comforting her for the rest of the night. Her dad realized the impact his story had on his little girl and stopped telling her such stories.
She would never let her family see the impact it had truly had on her. From then on, Olive became a reckless and headstrong young girl, basically swearing off any fear that decided to come her way.
INTERCEPTION
Olive, coming from a pureblood family, had a childhood full of magic.
After she told her twin, he just smiled and told her he always knew she would make it.[/reducio]
INPC UPDATE
NPC Name: Andrew Lycan
Link: right here
Year: 4
Stats:Abilities:
Application-Third Year Ability- Charmer
ReducioCharmer
You are just distracting. Distracting to look at perhaps. Maybe it is your wit or your charm, your grace or something else about you that is intangible but absolutely present.
Prerequisites: None
Restriction: Cannot be taken by Dhampirs, Werewolves, Calming Presence or with the ability Terrible Presence.
Effect: -1 accuracy to all of your opponents (as defined at the start of the instance regardless of later betrayal). This ability does not stack.
In Dueling:
• All players that play against a player with Charmer will suffer –1 Accuracy in their Accuracy vs Evasion rolls.
• If there is more than one Charmer on the team, the effect is not stacked (Max: –1).
ReducioAndrew Lycan is almost never caught in public without a grin on his face, and won't let people see him down. He seems to have the right thing to say to make you feel better about yourself, and jokes at his own expense and for others' gain. He is humorous and almost always seems to be joking around with others, and appreciates a good laugh. Even when he is embarrassed, which is quite inevitable when you're a teenage boy, he's smooth about it, like it doesn't really bother him that much. He has always had some kind of way to be smooth about the things he does, like they're easy. He sees life in a very simple way. He seems to always be upbeat about things and be optimistic about the future.
Everything he does makes you want to like him, even if you don't want to. The way he smiles at you, the way he talks to you, the jokes he makes and the way that he handles things. The way that he treats others and gives compliments, and the way that he acts in general. He is an upbeat and funny person, and he really seems to care about others and like the people he's with. It's just impossible to not like him. He's just easy to be friends with, and easy to be around, even if other people aren't.
As long as Drew or his parents can remember, the guy has been polite to others, and has a lot of friends. He always had people to hang out with at school and plenty of events to go to. He wasn't the overly-obnoxious kind of popular, but somebody that felt approachable to most people. He is still that way today. He has plenty of people that he knows, and finds it easy to make friends with people, whether he's sitting next to them in class, eating dinner next to them, or if he finds them a naturally interesting person that he wants to get to know better. He finds it easy to approach somebody and ask them about themselves and be friends with them.
It doesn't make him any less easy to like him with the fact that he isn't too bad on the eyes, either.
Drew is a gentleman, he's a little bit flirty, he's a little bit clever, and he's a very funny person. Overall, he's just... charming.402 wordsExtracurricular: Broom RacerApplication-Fourth Year Ability- Paragon of Health
ReducioParagon of Health:
You always keep an eye on your allies. Whenever you check in with your party you make sure to tend to their minor wounds and diseases. Causing your very presence to boost your allies’ resolve be it passively by a sort of aura (flavor) or by actual physical assistance (alternative flavor).
Prerequisite: None
Effects: Up to two allies (which must be defined at the start of the thread/upon entry) gain +10% temporary health points calculated from your stamina (not the person who used their ability on you). Temporary meaning for the duration of this thread. Also, any effects that are based on a percent of your health (such as an attack that does 10% of your maximum health) would be based on your natural maximum health score. Temporary hit points cannot be healed, so if you had 500 hit points and gained another 50 from your ally's Paragon of Health, your total becomes 550. If you take 100 damage from an attack, your health total is 450. If you friend heals you for a total of 100, your health will only rise to 500 (your natural health cap). You may not consider yourself to be an ally. This cannot stack.
ReducioEven from a young age, Drew has put others above himself. He stood up for people on the playground even if he knew he was going to be criticized for it. He shook things off if they bothered him and checked on those around him to see if they were okay. He spent time with others so that they wouldn’t be alone or left out, even if other people saw them as weird and didn’t think they were worth hanging out with. Even if it was just a little thing that nobody saw and barely anyone cared about, he was always willing to do anything to help others or make their day. It is very important to Drew that the people around him are taken care of and that they aren’t hurt.
Drew has always been extremely aware of those around him and those he cares about. If people he cares about are hurting or in need of something, he finds it his responsibility to make them feel better or they’re okay. He prioritizes other people above himself, knowing that he will be able to find a way to recover, but also knowing that he won't be able to stop being guilty if there was something he could have or should have done to help a person that he didn't.
Sometimes this can be negative, as sometimes he is a little overprotective of people, keeping a careful watch on them when there might be some danger. Some might call this behavior selfless, but maybe it's the opposite. Maybe it comes from a place of selfishness in himself. Maybe it’s because he knows that he can’t lose that person. Either way, it all stems from his character- he would rather himself get hurt and others are safe than ever see somebody he cares about get hurt.
As a result of this, there can be a kind of feeling when you’re around Drew. Some might call it an aura. It's like you know you’re going to be taken care of and protected if anything happens. Like you just know that if something happened, Drew would help out. He always has an eye out for the people he cares about, checking constantly to see if there’s anything he can do, and he always is willing to help. This can bolster people's confidence sometimes and help them to find more strength in themselves than they would normally.403 words

Annalise de Montfort was beautiful. It was the first thing she'd ever known, and the only constant that had stayed with her in her entire life. It was what made her feel special; her pale, porcelain white skin and strikingly sharp blue eyes, her perfectly rounded nose, her long, snow-white hair that cascaded down her back. Everywhere she went, eyes followed, and she shone in their gaze. It was her own personal spotlight, and Annalise prided herself on it. So did her parents. Perhaps that's why she was able to get away with what she could. But not enough, it seemed, as everything changed, and picture-perfect Annalise was gone. She wondered, was this all she could get in her life?
Then came along Lucietta. She was the exact copy of her mother, raised to be everything Mathilde was—soft-spoken, dainty, and gentle. She was perfect in every possible shape and form, flawless. Maybe deep down, Mathilde knew what she was doing, but it'd never truly felt like Lucietta. Maybe that's why she hated being who she was, and why being away at Ilvermorny was so freeing.
She sat and stared for hours at a time, looking at the arched ceiling of her room. Lucietta was pretty. That's what she was told, that's who she had to be, and that's who she was. So why were her pretty pink lips and her rosy painted cheeks not enough to satisfy?
Lucietta had been rifling through her closet for the past few hours, still trying to figure out what to pack in her trunk for her third year at Ilvermorny. Usually, her mother would be seated right next to her, as she’d been the past two times, pointing at dresses and skirts and instructing her what to fold and put in and what to leave out. Instead, she wasn’t. Apparently, something else had occupied her time, and so Lucietta was left to pack her belongings on her own. So far, she’d already packed all the essentials, but there was some space left over, as well as a few options. There were numerous dresses, one pink, one white, and one blue, as well as some jeans and a printed shirt. They were only to be worn if there was no other option, she recalled her mother stressing. And they probably wouldn’t even fit her anymore, she figured, considering it’d been a while and she’d never worn them.
…
The floral-printed dress had somehow ended up at the foot of her bed, and she stood in the mirror wearing a saggy, wrinkled t-shirt and crumped jeans half an hour before she had to leave.
Her mother would absolutely blow if she saw this, still-drying mascara and uncurled, tangled hair. She was already upset enough after Lucietta had told her that she was playing Quidditch, and this would set her off.
Lucietta felt… fine. She was still pretty, but fine.
Maybe she didn’t need to be perfect, just like her mother. Maybe everything would be fine if she were just her. Inner beauty, outer beauty. Maybe it was possible for her to have both.

Living in the Big Apple, or he guessed, somewhere near the Big Apple, being fearless is crucial to your day-to-day life. Bullies, criminals, and even people might act not in a way someone would particularly like. Elowen spends most of his time out on the street. Either fooling around, hanging out or helping people, El has done it all. Growing up surrounded by that, gave him the confidence to face all things that might be a little unnerving.
One of his mottos in life is to live every day to the fullest, without any regrets. Facing a lot of challenges is something he is thriving towards. But his fearlessness also not only came from his experience living on the streets but also, from his experience in an unhealthy family situation. Growing up broke and having constant negative energy courtesy of his parents, El was always the one that steps up to protect his sister from possible harmful words from their parents. Or when his father had a little too much to drink. The shouting from his parents is enough to thicken his skin and be immune to the terrible things he could face in the future.
Although there is a lot of dark element in the black-haired boy's life. He always puts others before him no matter what, protecting them from dangers, threats, and harm, no matter the reason. El would be the first person to face whatever dangers to protect the people he loves, without a single drop of fear, he would take any type of danger coming his way just so no one should suffer the way he does. People have seen it in his eyes, the determination he has to save everyone would even make the fear cower in his name.
With pep in his steps and a cheerful demeanor, El will face anything fearful and unnerving for his most beloved people. That is what he learns from the people around him, or from the streets of New York. Experience and his will to save people are the fundamental things of making him the way he is. Fearless, daring, courageous.
So when El join the wizarding world, he was still surprised by the number of odd things such as creatures or even some scary humans. They even have Werewolves and Dhampirs living amongst them. But not only he is not afraid of the fantastical creatures, they actually fascinate him a lot. Possibly dangerous creatures, and quests, well actually now that he got to experience more dangers in the Magical world, El have started to be more aware of the creature's existence.
One day, of course, one of El's friends decided to play a prank on him by asking one of the Ghosts in their school to haunt the fluffy-haired boy, but instead of being incredibly scared by the flying transparent creature, he ended up being a good friend of the ghost.
So needless to say, scaring El would be a near impossible task for now.

a b i l i t i e sc h a r m e r .ReducioCharm. He was always confused when people use that word to compliment him. He never made an effort to be charming. He is just simply being him and going along with his days like everybody else. But people seem to see think differently. Even though he does have an agreeable look, looks are not the only thing that makes him very popular.
Take Mrs. Takahashi's story for example. El loves going to walk past the 13th street to greet Mrs. Takahashi every morning, at exactly 7 am. Nobody knows why or even notices it other than herself. It is a simple action, but there is a reason why she always goes out to her doorstep every morning. It is because ever since Mrs. Takahashi loses her husband, she has become incredibly lonely. So she wakes up every morning at exactly 7 am to say goodbye to her husband, like she usually does every morning before her husband had passed, where she is saying goodbye to him when he is about to go to work. Nobody notices her, not even her children, but Elowen did. And he never realized how much she really appreciate that little conversation they have every morning at 7 am.
Another example was taken by someone who lives close by El. He is his neighbor. A young man named Noah. Noah was a shy kid. Really really shy. He always had dealt with anxiety growing up, so standing up for himself was almost nearly impossible. It happened during a random Tuesday when several older kids came up to him. Noah was really nervous so they laugh at him, and of course, tried to take the little money he have for lunch. And then, he came out of nowhere. It was Elowen alone, who tried to defend him when nobody even would bat an eye. El took a few beatings from the older kids, but somehow he still smile after that and gave the money back to Noah. Because of that incident, Noah always admired El, even though he is always too shy to say it in person.
So what it is that made him charming? that is such a cringe word, isn't it? 'Charm'? he hates describing himself like that. But there is something about him that makes people like to be around him. He might never realize the reason, but the people around him know, the aura that he brings, the constant kindness and heart he gave out to the community. Approved I can see that Auri had put in for the Keeper position and I placed her iNPC on the wait list for the role. Now reading this, I will place her on the second string position and move you to your chosen position as well since it was a swap out.
Regarding the fearless application, I an also sending out a reminder regarding site content since it seems obvious what was happening between the lines regarding your father that has too much to drink and a need to protect your sister. Please remember, we will look the other way for stuff that is between the lines but as soon as it is overtly stated (father is hitting her, you are being hit, he is being abusive, etc.) then we will have to ask for hard edits and the other direction looking goes away. This is not a scolding, just a reminder.

The reasons I want to make this change is the fact that she is on the waitlist for the Ilvermorny Team and I would like to have this as part of the history, the second thing I would like to add is that of the appearance, she is now 5'8 and she will remain that way for the rest of her life.

ReducioTina Parker has seen someone bulling a first-year student wanting to break his bones and beat him up for good measure, "Leave him alone," Tina cried; the first-year at that moment ran and didn't come back. "What did you say? You filthy little mudblood." The older student said to her; his drooling voice said she set eyes on her. "I'm not afraid of you." She growled, "Leave other students alone." This struck a chord with the older student, who raised his wand and shot a spell at her; she dodged and gave the more senior student an excellent punch to the face WHAM! She had punched him so hard that he bled from his nose. He then tried to punch back; they brawled and crossed the hall as both tried to hit each other more complex and more challenging each time. He eventually hit her on the jaw, and she bled from the mouth. She wiped the blood off of her nose as she was not afraid of a bit of blood; she wasn't scared of most things. "RAAGH!" She cried as she charged at the senior student. She punched him repeatedly, making him bleed from his mouth as well. Finally, he tried to hit her straight at her chest, but Tina blocked it and kicked him straight in the stomach, making him cough blood. "Do not bully anyone else again, or the next time I will go to a teacher and tell them what you've done." He ran as his buddies came to finish the job. "No one messes with our friend," Tina said, smirking as she did so. "Game on. Jerks." Even when injured, she carried on; she then took out her wand drew a downward curve with my wand followed by a fast ascension with a tiny hook at the end. Then a blue light glowed at the end of my wand, and she shouted "Flipendo.", she shot the spell twice and it became a duel between the three students each of them shooting one spell after another at each other, the elder students vs the third-year girl. She was smug in her expression even though she was clearly outmatched, she didn't care if she got in trouble, she was having so much fun with this duel that they were having. Then the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher from the end of the hall shouted "Detention, all three of you."
Approved I will update the trunk and coding. However, I should mention that you are a fourth year. As a fourth year you are entitled to a total of 50 stat points and a total of 4 abilities. You presently have 45 stat points and only 1 ability. This will leave your character during the tournament at a distinct disadvantage as knowing spells, having stats and having abilities all advantageous aspects that will be relevant in these stat-driven activities.
As for the bio additions, you are welcome to continue to make your character grow to her adult height). As for the part with Miles Thatcher's Champion position and your part in it, as long as it happened either in character or with the permission of Simon, the owner of the iNPC you are welcome to that addition as well.
As such I am going to soft delete this post as the above content is all approved (assuming permission from Simon). I strongly recommend that you apply for the other abilities and stats your iNPC is entitled to.

INPC: Tina Parker
Ilvermorny NPC
Name: Estelle Clover Hughes
School: Ilvermorny
Year: first year
Status: Muggleborn
Appearance: Estelle has long, red hair that is quite sleek and soft at touch. She had slightly tanned skin- but it was usually very pale, considering how little time she spent outside, an how much time she spent either sulking around the house or huddled up in her room, in her favourite orange blanket, reading a good book. She bright blue eyes, that used to have a twinkle in them, but now, they looked tired and dull- they had lost their luster. She usually wore the same huge, blue jumper everyday, with shorts and socks. She always wore socks. She was a bit short, but only a bit, but it was a wonder how her little-step-sister was taller than her.
Personality: Estelle was not a happy person. Not usually. She was grumpy and liked her time alone, they were very few people she clicked with, meaning people she actually enjoyed talking too. She would talk as if she was annoyed or angry, but truly, she was either merely bored or sometimes annoyed. She enjoyed giving people nicknames- one of her greatest hobbies. Whether the person liked that nickname, it didn't matter to Estelle, the little ignorant girl she was, told her every thing was fine.
History: Estelle looked cute. Kind of. Seemed cute. Sort of. But Estelle Hughes was far from a cute adorable child. She was grumpy and bad tempered, but she rarely lost the her temper, because she knew how bad arguments can get with her. Because Estelle used to be a people's person- she used to be the lovely girl her name had given her. But that all ended when her father and mother split up. They left each other. That was the end for Estelle. But the worst was when her mother brought Paul in. Her now step-dad. Could things ever get worse? Well, yes. Things only got worse when she found out Paul had a daughter: Charlotte Jones. Mostly known as Charlie. Estelle hated Paul, she hated Charlie. They weren't the person she hated the most, though. The first person on her 'I hate you' list, was a particular boy. A boy she hated very much.
Philip McDorkFace.
Estelle had her first magical encounter when she went to the park at nine years old. She strolled into the park which she loved- it was empty and mostly abandoned. She wore her usual sweater and a pair of shorts, despite the slightly chilly weather. Estelle went immediately to the swings, her favourite part of the park. She was in a better mood than she had been in days. Until she saw Philip. On her swing. Estelle hated Philip. He was horrible to her at school; he had stolen her favourite water bottle, copied her homework and told the teachershe copied his homework. Now he was on her swing? Not today, Estelle thought bitterly.
"Hey, DorkFace!" Estelle called to him, "that's my seat your sitting on. So, get off."
Philip looked up without the slightest shown of interest- but if anything, he grinned.
"Oh hello. Didn't expect to see you here, Fireball. But uh..." Philip feigned innocence and looked around the swings. "This isn't your swing. It dont got your name on it."
Estelle balled her hands up in a fist, trying to keep her anger at bay.
"This is my swing. And you are at my park. So I ask you for the last time, get OFF!" Estelle stomped her foot on this last word- she was barefooted, but she didn't care. But as soon as her anger rose, it faltered. As Philip when flying from the swing, but landed unharmed, in a bush.
"What are you...get away from me! Don't hurt me...please."
Philip was begging her, but Estelle was barely listening, she was looking at her barefoot.
"Sorry, sorry. Sorry Phil-" Estelle ran home, she ran as fast as she could, arriving at her house, Amy, her mother, was cooking, she asked her stressing daughter what was wrong- but Estelle didn't answer.
"Mom, I think I...I made DorkFace fall out of the- the swing! With my foot! I think I'm magical!" Estelle blutered out. Amy looked concerened.
"Essie, dear, magic doesn't well, exists. Why don't you go talk to Charlie about this?" Amy said lightly, with a small laugh.
Estelle didn't respond, instead she gave her mother a cold look, turning on her heel to leave the room.
It was only on Estelles eleventh birthday that her mom had to come to terms about Estelle being a witch. But it was all absurd, Paul and Charlotte weren't to know, but they were told anyway. Estelle was later sorted into the house of the Wampus
. However, she was also concidered by the Horned Serpent. But she followed her heart, choosing the Wampus.
