They say that we are all made from the same cosmic dust, whether we be human, animal, plant, or anything else that exists in this crazy Universe we call home. Miles Thatcher is no stranger to such thoughts, as he feels at one with nature. He looks up at the skies as night and thinks of his ancestors and how they too once looked up to a similar night sprinkling of stars, wondering what was out there. He looks at the plants around them and feels they too deserve rights to prosper and thrive on this Earth as it is theirs as much as it is human and wizard kind.

Perhaps that is what has developed his free spirit, one to roam around the landscape around him whether it be in the rainforest or the jungle, the savannah plains or a crowded city. His parents are well known magizologisits and have traveled the globe, bringing along their son with them. He has spent time everywhere and that time was mostly spent by himself. He would take the time to climb the tree, to walk along the fallen branch as if it were a balance beam. He would jump from rock to rock to make it across the river. Yes, his sense of what was around him and his sense of balance was quiet developed through his childhood and beyond and here he was, quick and agile to whatever presented itself.

He found it especially helpful in games like quidditch. Yes, as a beater he was mostly set on firing bludgers at others but that didn't mean sometimes those nasty little buggers weren't coming for him! Luckily all that sense of balance and being at one with the Universe seemed to help him have a keen sense to dart out of the way when necessary. It was a skill that put him on his house team in Ilvermorny within his first year and a skill that he figured would help attribute him remaining on the team all his years at school.

Yes, Miles felt that strong connection with the Universe and often used it to his advantage. Perhaps we were all made of the same cosmic dust, but that didn't mean everyone acknowledged it. Some let life pass them by and others were in tune with it all, ready to take in what was beneficial and ready to dodge anything that was not.

And yet still she's generally regarded as the responsible one of her siblings(which is an honest lie, it's just that she's quiet and she doesn't get caught). It's not to say that she isn't hospitable or charming, it's what's expected of her, along with good grades (she doesn't dare come home with a failing mark), but there are the occasional downside of interacting with her, mainly that she is quick to anger, and has a tendency to use projectiles(she once threw a vase at her brother, it was the cause of his first instance of magic). And Savreen was no exception. Angular and pleasing to stare at, Savreen's features are similar to nearly all of her family on her. mother's side, with dark brown eyes that glow amber and gold when the sun glances off of it correctly, and long dark hair that is (usually) meticulously well-kept, reaching down to her lower back. Standing short at 4'7", though with a rather catlike grace to her, Sav has a dancer's build through and through. Combined with a melodic voice (s0me might consider it to be a mid-atlantic accent), and the addition of full lips and high cheekbones, it comes as no surprise that Savreen is considered a classic beauty. Outside of the Ilvermony uniform, Sav is often seen in sweaters in paler colors that are tucked into jeans with combat boots, though it changes depending on how she feels, though the one thing that never changes is the moonstone ring gifted to her by her grandmother. The Narindra clan, vast and distinctive, is strangely at a remove from the outside world. After an offshoot of the family moved from India to London(and later to New York), their contributions to the wizarding world as a family has continued to go largely unnoticed, though in their small wizarding community, they're regarded as people of power, especially as they continue to produce, well... produce in the local market from their farm at the top of the hill. And it was in that very house that Savreen Riya Narindra, the second daughter of Bhavya and Kumar Narindra, and the youngest of all their children, was born. And in that very house, it was there that she learned of her heritage. It should be stated then that perhaps it may sound fantastical (and maybe it was, maybe it wasn't), but didn't every pureblood family have their own origin story? Something that made their clan them? And for the Narindra's, it was the stars. For to them, they said that their mgic stemmed from a star falling in love with a mortal and having a child with it. Which, admittedly sounds strange, but to Sav it was something that made her family who they were (because honestly, who else in their small community could claim they were descended from stars?) And it was under those same stars that Savreen grew up. And it was under those same stars that magic came clearly into her life. For while yes, her family may have been pureblood and use magic, and her siblings all left to go to Ilvermony, a young Sav just didn't quite understand what it entailed. After throwing a vase at her older brother (she didn't quite know why, just that she did under a haze of simmering red), her own first magic was shortly after. She had been dragged in from stargazing on the roof (6 year old her was strange), and she was scared of the dark in her room. And it was too dark outside, and the only light came from the stars above. But there was nothing to be done, so she merely curled up in her bed and waited for dawn to come. And while it never happened again, the twinkling of stars made itself known on her ceiling to lull her into unconsciousness, and though she searched in the morning for it, it could only be chalked up to magic. Later events would confirm that Sav was fit to attend Ilvermony, along with her siblings and cousins, and now, along with the magic that she seems to have taken quickly to, it seems that she might thrive in this world outside of what she knows. History: Frankie lives in the suburbs near San Francisco, California. Though her family can be a bit hectic, she loves them very dearly. Her mother is a pediatrician and her father is an elementary school teacher. She has three younger sisters and two older brothers. She's the middle child of the family, a role that has many struggles. At home, she grew a close connection with her little sister (a muggle), through drawing, writing, and watching their favorite muggle cartoons together. He is very capable of swimming against the current, he is self-sufficient, friendly and reliable, although it is true that he also has something of vanity. Michael Vartanian was born on 21 May 2010 in Leeds, England, to a pure-blood father and a muggle-born mother, who's names are Marcel and Miriam, respectively.
Miriam was a Hogwarts student who works in the muggle world as an inventor, though she still makes some wizarding confidential investigations. In fact, she was in the middle of one of her jobs when she travelled to Monterey, Mexico, under the pretext of touring the mountains, to meet a wise wizard who resided on one of the peaks. The investigation did not lead to anything stable, but it still gave Miriam the opportunity to meet the man who would become her future husband.
Marcel Vartanian had graduated from Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and worked as a librarian, having both muggle and wizarding literature. His parents, originally from Armenia, had emigrated to Mexico when he was born in 1987, during the Soviet period.
Miriam and Marcel soon fell in love, and before it was time to return to England, Miriam had become pregnant. Marcel refused to let her go alone, but Miriam refused to stay, so they both moved to England after the New Year, in January 1st 2010. A few months after the move, Michael was born in Leeds. Marcel always believed that Ilvermorny was the best school and, as Miriam rarely objected to his decisions, he resolved that his son would attend there.
After living in Leeds for a year, the Vartanians decided to move to Rainhill, dreaming of living in a quiet neighbourhood where their son could grow up freer than in the city. Besides, Marcel missed the library back in Mexico, and wanted to open his own; now he had the chance to do so if they moved. There was really no objections, so they did.
Mike has always been a very alert and exploratory boy, for him any moment could be considered an adventure. His greatest hobby was hanging upside down from tree branches or balancing on tree trunks. His first magical experience came when, at the age of three, his parents decided to take him to the park.
Mike soon found a tree he wanted to climb, but unfortunately it was too high for him to do so. But the boy did not give up easily, he started jumping towards the branch, stretching out his arms to reach it, but he was still far from his goal. His mother was reading a book on a nearby bench, glancing at her son from time to time, while he kept trying. When Mike became sufficiently angry at his increasingly obvious failure, one of the tree branches began to lengthen and reached down to him. Mike instantly smiled and climbed over it; the branch rose back up to its normal height. Miriam looked up from her book as the branch rose, and inevitably associated it with magic.
A few months after Mike turned four, a new family moved into the neighbourhood. Within three days of the Rees' arrival, Mike met two of their little pure-bloods, Matthew and Georgiana, on the road. The three became friends really quick, and their friendship lasts to this day, especially with Gia (who is the same age as him) with whom he exchanges letters often.
Michael has received a very good homeschooler education from his father, as he lavished him with all kinds of books (including Muggle ones) and also taught him quite strictly. Perhaps that is why the time Michael cherished most was the time he spent with his mother. She is an official worker in the Muggle world, and has passed on to her son the gift of seeing the world as a miracle.
For many years Michael believed he would attend Hogwarts, perhaps because George said he himself would, or perhaps maybe even his mother had told him so at some point. Either way, when his letter arrived, he felt his dream was fulfilled, because he would be able to spend the year with his best mate. He didn't know that his father had written to the Headmaster of Hogwarts to give a negative reply. Not until August, when George received his own letter and ran home to tell him that they would be attending together.
Then his parents sat down to tell Mike that he would be attending Ilvermorny, just like his father. For a couple of days Michael felt like his world didn't make sense, so much so that he didn't even accompany Gia to Diagon Alley to buy the supplies. After a while, however, he managed to come to his senses, and on 1 September he went with his friend to Platform 9¾. Of course they had to say goodbye in order to Georgie could get on the train. Michael watched it leave and then his parents took him to Ilvermorny. He arrived that same day, and was selected for Wampus, which so far has not been difficult for him to assimilate. George says that for him he will always be a Gryffindor.

Pending There are a few minor points of confusion. The first being that your character lived in Leeds and then moved to Rainhill. These are both in England, so why are you going to Ilvermorny. Then you used the Hogwarts Express for an intercontinental train ride to America? We are going to need further explanations here.

Secondly, it is the end of the school year so we are letting players get their next year stats (in your case year 2), so you have 40 points to allocate rather than 35.

Your picture appears to be broken, we need a picture that shows up on site so it can be loaded onto the site in case the source ends up getting lost. We need a picture that is visible.

calming presence, year one[/center][center][reducio]Nick has always made people calm. It may be because he can change the mood to a happy one, or the fact that he is normally always calm. Never angry or sad, at least he doesn't show it. Whenever he came around people who where stressed his presence calmed them. Another reason might have been the fact that he seamed very trust worthy, he simply didn't give off the vibes of a liar. He wasn't a liar, he was extremely trustworthy.

Once his older sister Emma she had an audition for a part in a play. She really wanted the part, she was extremely stressed about it. Nick saw this, he went over to her. He didn't know how he would help, but Emma was his sister and he wanted to try. Nick let his sister practice some lines on him, and she aced them! Nick had gone to see her in the play he sat first row with his parents grandparents and siblings to see his sister preform. She didn't miss a line.

Nick started to call this thing his 'superpower' naturally his parents didn't believe him when he said that he had a superpower as they only exist in comics. They kept saying that until they experienced it themselves. When Nick had shown his first instance of magic they freaked, Nick was calm and thought that his confetti burp was quite humorous. His parents noticed how calm there child was and calmed down a bit, not entirely but some. Probably because he didn't seem in pain. As his parents tried to comfort him, Nick was trying to comfort his parents.

Another example of his superpower was when one of his muggle friends had scraped there knee when they fell of a bike. Nick stayed calm, and never left his friends side. Doing so grandly helped stop his friends tears. Even if it was just a scraped knee. He stayed until an adult who had a first aid kit came and put a band aid on his friends knee. His friend was to scared to get back onto his bike. Nick saw this and helped his friend get back onto his bike, and in Nicks words "show the bike who was the boss" his friend got back on the bike.

His 'superpower' had never went away. It stayed for what will be forever! Nick loved his power as it helped him help out people.

Jamie may be a wizard, but he can't shake his muggle upbringing. He's a city boy through and through, with the cuts, scrapes, and street smarts to prove it. He's gotten along just fine without magic for a decade now! So, he can obviously keep on doing that. Of course, that hasn't stopped him from trying to attempt as many spells as he can, or vowing to explore every inch of the magical world. Magic is real! How awesome is that? But you know, sometimes it's too much trouble to remember the correct jinx or hex when someone pisses you off! And some people could really use a good kick in the pants...

Excuses, excuses. Turns out wizard school, or really any school for that matter, isn't his strong suit. He does pretty well in the more hands-on classes, like Charms, or Potions, but dreads others like History of Magic or Astronomy. Jamie is also accident prone-- with his short attention span and over-eagerness, magical explosions are more common than not.

The redhead has always tended to act first, think later, so he's already primed to use whatever's nearby, in a fight or otherwise. But then again, since magic is still relatively new to him, he defaults back to his muggle upbringing, with perspective, problem solving, confrontations, and so on, and so on. Also, sometimes the muggle way is just easier. Like, why don't electronic devices don't work at his school? You're telling him he has to walk all the way to the library, and look up stuff-- in books?? Books are for nerds!

Jamie is also very "in" with the meme crowd, which made him quite popular back in his old school. But unfortunately, wizards aren't familiar with muggle pop culture, and similar activities. You're telling him that one of his best (pureblood) friends doesn't know what a skateboard is? How is that even possible? This means that Jamie often finds himself at odds with his more magically knowledgeable peers. You don't just integrate smoothly into a world that you didn't even know existed a year ago. But even so, Jamie is determined to become the coolest wizard ever! Maybe that means joining the quidditch team, or becoming a renowned prankster. Or you know, improving his spellwork...or researching in the library. That too.

Jamie and his twin sister have two moms (Lorelei Greenspan, Dylan Ziegler), as previously established. However, they are the children of Lorelei and a man named Gavin Wight. Lorelei and Gavin were high school sweethearts, and were both quite young when Lorelei found out she was expecting twins. Lorelei was overjoyed, but Gavin felt quite the opposite. Whether it was commitment issues, or something more deep rooted in his life, is unknown.

Maybe they were just too young.

But one fateful day, he disappeared without a trace. Jamie's mother was heartbroken and angry, but she managed to support herself with hard work and help from friends and family. One of these friends was Dylan, and the two grew closer and closer over the next few years.

Jamie and Melody grew up knowing little about their father. But Dylan and Lorelei made sure that they knew to always persevere through hard times, and to help those around them. Lorelei never talks about the man, and Dylan is sworn to secrecy. The twins were raised in a very supportive environment, with amazing people of all genders to guide them, but Jamie can't help but wonder about who his father was, and why he left.

I'm adding this piece of backstory to better establish Jamie's muggleborn "heritage", since I feel like it was more unclear before. I might add some information about Jamie's father too, but that shouldn't have as much of an impact on Jamie's story. It's more about him being curious about the relationship between Gavin and Lorelei. Right now, I'm not planning for Jamie and his father to meet, but rather for his mothers to tell him about what happened.
