Landon laughed as he listened to Damien's joke. "I don't know if I feel like a bird, but I definitely enjoy the time I have in the air. I miss it when I'm home," he admitted. Landon's family was magical but he couldn't just fly on a broom in town. It wasn't a wizarding town after all. "My broom feels like an extension of me, so flying feels pretty natural at this point. My twin sister hates flying. But she also hates water," he admitted. Harper didn't like people to know her weaknesses, but Landon figured this was harmless.
"Next year, I'll see about going, as long as my family doesn't need me at home," he said. "Summer Camp is quite fun, though there's always some sort of chaos about it," he observed with a smile. Seemed like any time large groups of young wizards, witches, and nonbinary wixen got together, chaos ensued. Landon remembered the last ball he went to with a bit of nervousness. He had fallen into the lake and gotten tugged under by Grindylows, so he wasn't that fond of how many things could go wrong at events.
"I would prefer to practice over a race. I'm not the best at fast flying for distances, but Keepers tend to be closer to the goal posts most of the time. I will just talk to my team and see if we can practice together!" Landon was happy to practice if he was allowed to do so. Landon didn't really see the harm.
"Once I get permission, I can send you an owl or find you somewhere. We can make a day to practice together, once it's approved," he said with a smile

Damien just nodded as he listened to Landon talk maybe it was because he was in Ravenclaw that’s why when he was flying on a broom he felt like he was a bird souring through the air. That and he hadn’t had much of a chance to ride his broom besides that unofficial match during the summer. Damien face lit up with shock as he was surprised that Landon had a twin sister or if he was honest if Landon had mentioned it before he honestly didn’t remember it but he assumed this was atleast new information being shared. “I didn’t know you had a twin sister?..also is she must be a cat since she hates water!” He was hoping his joke made sense as with his experience with his own cat Apollo he seems to hate whenever he needed ever a bath plus Damien had always read that cats hate water. “But that’s pretty cool that you have a twin sister what’s her name ?” He asked curiously as he always wanted to know more about his friends so he figured this would be a good way to learn more about Landon. Why Damien didn’t like to wait he figured he could if it meant he got to practice with Landon plus he was eager to see how Landon style of playing differed from his own. “Okay then! That works for me I shall await your owl then!” He smiled before giving Landon a thumbs up. |

Landon hummed as Damien expressed surprise about him having a twin sister. "Yeah, she's a Slytherin," he explained. "We don't hang out very often, but I know she would definitely do anything to help me if I needed it," he said with a smile. He chuckled as Damien joked that Harper must be a cat. "Nah, Harper is more of a snake," he said with a smile. "But I think she dislikes water because it ruins her hair," he said with a laugh. "Though she can't swim, so that also would explain a lot."
"I have another sister too, but Harper is my twin. My little sister's name is Norah," he explained. He didn't talk about his family much with Damien because he knew that Damien had a strained relationship with his own family, but Landon did really love his family. "Norah is probably the reason I like dancing so much. She's always been a dancer, and I taught myself to dance a little so that I can make her smile," he explained.
Landon smiled and nodded. "I'll send you an owl as soon as I can, and we can arrange a time. I'm sure they will say it's okay, but I want to be sure just in case. I don't want my team mad at me," he explained. Landon landed and held his broom by his side. "I'll probably head back now, got to get ready for classes," he said with a smile. Some professors had already given them homework so he had work to do.

Damien was learning new information everyday as not only did he learn about Landon twin sister but she was a slytherin too which Damien thought was awesome. “I swear you just get cooler and cooler, but I have so many questions! What is it like being a twin ?” To say he was fascinated by this was an understatement he was absolutely intrigued and captivated by this and wanted to learn more. Damien just chuckled at the joke Landon made as she was indeed technically a snake due to her being in Slytherin. Now it was making sense why she hates water once Landon explained that she can’t swim which would be understandable as he would be afraid too if he didn’t know how to swim. The next words out of Landon mouth caught Damien off guard another sister man Landon was lucky. “You are so lucky! I would love to have siblings and you got two! That’s awesome!” He just couldn’t imagine how much fun it would have been to have not one but two siblings he felt he would be very happy growing up as it was basically two automatic best friends. “Hey I didn’t know you could dance cool! Maybe you would like to have a um..dance party some time! It would be fun!” He smiled softly as he enjoyed hanging out with Landon a lot he was like an older brother to him basically. “Aww I hate that you have to go but I will be looking for that owl! So be safe Landon!” as he spoke he waved at him as he stayed on his broom admiring how the sky looked today. |
