Estelle becomes a magiczoologist and helps save and protect many magical creatures around the world.

Ooh funsies! Estelle would try to help magical creatures as a magiczoologist, but she'd realise that no matter what she did on a small scale, she couldn't stop the destruction of these creature's habitats and their endangerment. She'd end up utilising her creature handling skills to attack various political meetings and the ministry to make a statement. Even if she went bad, it'd be for a good reason lol

• What's one of their best memories at Hogwarts?

Though the thread for this moment is still quite new, I have no doubt that her most beloved Hogwarts memory at the moment is having watched the Quadrantids meteor shower with her best friend, @Dealla Prince, back in January. One of very few memories for her that is purely happy - nothing got lit on fire, no one got hexed, and it was just a really lovely time doing one of her favourite activities with one of her favourite people. (A solid runner-up to this is getting promoted to first-string Seeker and making the Headliner team in the same day, described in this solo.)

• How about one of the worst ones?

This one's a little less easy to answer. Over the course of her five years at Hogwarts, Aly has lost countless Quidditch matches (including one where she was knocked off her broom and landed directly on top of a teammate on the ground), gotten yelled at for casting Incendio in the Ravenclaw commons, gone through relationship fights and a bad breakup, and dealt with all sorts of family drama at home. @Dealla Prince also punched her in the nose in the middle of the Great Hall once. However, I think what takes the cake is getting the letter that her father had passed halfway through her fourth year, and all that followed after.

• Top 3 hangouts when visiting Hogsmeade?

The quintessential trio: the Three Broomsticks for butterbeer with her mates, Honeydukes to fulfill her boundless sweet tooth and stock up on her favourite Cauldron Cakes, and finally, a little bit out of the way to go to Scrivenshaft's. My little nerd loves a fresh new quill every once in a while.

• Favorite shop in Diagon Alley?

Florean Fortescue's, hands down. Did I mention she has a sweet tooth yet?

• Do they have a favorite ball? (either theme, or something significant happened)

Actually, I have yet to really have Aly do much at a ball. In her first year, she didn't go (read: I joined right before the spring ball and didn't feel comfortable with the RP system in time to participate). Since then, she's only attended the trials of her second-year Blossom Ball (which is actually where she met Peri!), her third-year Midspring Festival (though she spent most of it running the flower crown table), her fourth-year Fall Ball (literally only to dance with her date), and her fifth-year Fall Ball, though she was only there for about half a second before spotting her ex and immediately leaving. However, she's currently at the entrance to the Blossom Ball, wearing her grandmother's antique and astronomically accurate gown, and has met up with two friends already with plans for more. I foresee this ball probably being her favourite for a long, long time.

• Has their time at Hogwarts made them more extroverted or introverted?

A bit of both, actually, I think. Aly was shy-ish her first year (read: I didn't RP much with her, lol) but then became extremely extroverted and friendly after she got the Charmer ability that year, and stayed that way until her father's death last year, when she withdrew both physically and mentally for a while. Six months locked at home has maybe not made her introverted, but certainly more introspective. Cautious. Guarded, if you will.

• If they were sorted in a different house, which would it be?

Probably Hufflepuff. Aly's brave-ish, but is too anxious to be classified as bold enough for Gryffindor, and though she's very clever, she doesn't have the ambition or cunning required for Slytherin. I think Aly would fit very well as a Hufflepuff, not just because of her love for Herbology but also because of her work ethic and incredible loyalty to those she loves. With that being said, you would have to pry her Ravenclaw identity from her cold, dead hands. She's very proud of her placement.

• Have they dated anyone? Why or why not?

She did date @Aaron Jones for a while between the spring of their third year and the winter of their fourth, but the relationship ended somewhere between messily and silently when Aly's father passed and she was kept home for the spring semester in her fourth year. She couldn't receive or send owls, on her mother's orders, so Aaron's letters to her went unanswered and Aly went feeling like she wasn't cared about. By the time she returned to Hogwarts in June 2023, they'd both moved on. Aly has also kissed @Jorah Moussa and fancied @Xailah Alptraum for a bit, but Aaron remains her only actual relationship.

• Where will they live after graduation?

On a boat! Okay, not that she knows that yet, but I do. See the next question for her post-grad plans.

• Which job(s) are they considering?

So Aly isn't considering this quite yet because she honestly doesn't even know it's an option - don't worry, she'll find out soon - but I have a plan for her. She wanted to be a Healer for quite a while and even served as a Healer intern for about two years, but just decided that isn't her passion anymore and is pursuing other possibilities like writing for the Headliner. In that vein, she has recently discovered a passion for Astronomy and joined that internship instead. With help from @Pericles Dralt, she will eventually figure out that there exist wizarding shipping companies that run goods on boats across the oceans, and that will be the career that combines her passion for the stars with her need for travel and freedom. She'll start out as a deckhand and, hopefully, eventually work her way up to owning her own ship, taking what goods and passengers she pleases and living quite the wild life that she deserves.

• What would their "Good Ending" (favorable development) look like?

Well - above! In addition to the ship career, Aly is currently figuring out her sexuality and I would love to see her find both herself and someone with whom she could be happy, even if it were only temporary (though Merlin knows she's not great with breakups). With that being said, I think I'm quite happy with the way her development is going right now. She's taking steps forward in Quidditch, has just joined the Headliner, has a small group of people she's close to (like Dee and Peri), and is really coming into her own. Barring any extreme happenstances, I think she's on the path to a good ending.

• How about the "Bad Ending" (aka villain origin story)?

Aly's bad ending would be if her mother managed to force her back into pureblood society and really messed up her newfound independence. Their relationship is already very strained, and I think that that would just cause Aly to cut all ties with her family and begin to hold a deep hatred for pureblood society. Also, I could kind of see her doing some purehearted smuggling on her ship (as long as she agreed with the values and the cargo), though I'm not sure exactly how that would come about - but that's probably the closest she'd ever come to really being a villain. I love my girl, and she's too sweet to really do anything that bad.
