Emma shifted her grip on Owlbert’s cage, debating if it was a good idea to put her bag down, but she had no idea what the bunk arrangements were and if she should even claim one yet or if that was going to be decided when everyone had arrived. For now she would hold her things as best as she could, and maybe someone would tell her what was going on with everything. As long as she was far away from Regina. That was all she needed, to be bunkmates with the girl who had participated in her freezing and the removal of her wand and badge.
Quickly turning to the first person who spoke since Emma’s awkward entrance, Emma focused on the words they were saying, not wanting to miss anything. Trying to wave, she did some awkward hand shake with Owlbert’s cage, causing the owl to hoot in excitement, thinking it was some sort of game or something. “Oh hi. It’s nice to meet you. I think so or at least my name was on the list.” Emma tilted her head to the entrance, not wanting to repeat an attempted hand gesture with either Owlbert or her suitcase.
Emma’s eyes widened as she was bombarded with a larger than life personality, and who introduced themselves as Captain Bluemane. Usually she took carrot head as an insult but it seemed here, it was just for fun, a pirate name to go along with the pirate theme. Grinning happily, Emma threw in an “Aye, I shall join ye. The bird is the adventurous sort, and will make his escape with the booty if ye don’t keep an eye on Owlbert.” She almost forgot about Regina for the moment, hoping that her pirate talk was up to par. Though she still needed to figure out the bunk situation. Looking around, she debated if she should ask or not.
But she didn’t have a chance, jumping which caused another excited hoot from Owlbert as another student joined the tent, someone who once again she had no idea who they were. Though she was pretty sure Bluemane was not their real name but at least it was something to call them. Flustered, Emma quickly say. “Ummm…hi there! Emma Wynn….errr, I mean Carrot-Head the Red?” Emma looked carefully at the colorful captain, hoping she had gotten that right. Realizing she had forgotten poor Owlbert who was shuffling from side to side, she pointed with the hand still holding her suitcase, saying “and this be Owlbert.”

Kim's Band of Mischievous Miscreants
The day had already been hectic as hell for Pax, running around and getting things organised for Summer Camp. They had even yet to drop their bag off at their tent, which was exactly their mission now, since they had about 15 minutes of free time.
Dragging their stuff, they discovered six of the others that they'd signed up to be in a tent with had already arrived.
By far the most noticeable was Sophia, who was somehow standing atop of one of the bunkbeds and flailing a sword about, dressed in pirate get-up.
By their side sat a girl that Pax recognised from a previous encounter-Quinn was it? She was dressed in a similar fashion to Sophia (or how Pax would refer to them, Blueberry).
The third member what seemed to be their motley pirate crew was Gemima Sable-nicknamed Dollface on the first occasion they'd met, who Pax had been introduced to before, but had never had the pleasure of talking to properly. Again, they were also fitted in a pirate's look.
Goody-two-shoes Hufflepuff prefect Emma Wynn-also known to them as Baby Badger, was also stood with the pirate gang, but not wearing any fancy outfit. Pax wrinkled their nose. Who's smart idea had it been to have her in their tent?
Now for the clearly confused who had just walked into the room.
One lion had entered, one that Pax couldn't properly place a name for. They were quite tall however, and Pax had to crane their neck upwards to properly get a view of them. From the way they looked at the band of pirates, it was safe to assume this tall person had some affiliations with Blueberry, Gem, Baby Badger and... Quinn?
The final tent occupant who had arrived was Regina Miller. Pax had never met the girl properly, but her reputation did precede her. If they were honest, they found her more than slightly badass as heck. She had sunglasses on her face so it was hard to discern her expression, though from what they could see it gave off one clear vibe-unimpressed.
Well, it looked as if Pax would have to do some vibe fixing.
"Well...hello!" They made their presence officially known. "Um, for all who may not know me, I'm Pax Zhang, going to be a second year Gryffindor in September, and I'm on the Gryffindor quidditch team."
They would've mentioned they were Co-Captain, but that felt a little too show-off-ish for a first meeting with some of these people.
Moving forwards between the pirates and the others, they placed a hand on Regina's shoulder. "Wanna bunk together? Cool. I'm fine with taking the bottom, you look like you'd prefer a top bunk anyways." They took Regina's bags from her grasp, and threw them onto the top bunk of the beds furthest left, before depositing their stuff on the bunk below. Purposefully, they'd taken the bed cut off from the other three, who had all claimed three different beds (oddly enough).
"Afraid I can't stay long, planning committee duties. However, we're rooming together for a month, so I'd suggest lightening up and getting to know each other! I'll be back soon!"Pax will leave the tent.BUNK PLANS/ARRIVAL STATUS:

【☆】★【☆】★【☆】★【☆】★【☆】Captain Bluemane to the rescue! Gem blinked as Sophia surged forth and welcomed the new girls with open arms, like a true pirate would.
Spurred on by her enthusiasm, Gem took a deep breath and tried to follow suit. Making enemies on the first day of something was unthinkable, especially at summer camp! They were here to make the most of the month they had together, right? Normally, she would have been much too awkward and dare she say, uptight to take part in all this, but she was a changed woman, wasn't she? Gem closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, she was the fearsome Long Gem Silver once more.
She felt tingly all over, and as she stepped back to flank her captain, she pulled a cutlass from a chest and confidently hooked it over her shoulder.
"Ahoy, Carrot-Head! I be the famed Long Gem Silver, second in command--wait, where's my hat gone?" The first mate felt around her hair, only to see the captain sporting her chosen accessory. Long Gem huffed, but begrudgingly took a brown tri-corner cap and fitted it snugly on her head.
"Ahem--pleased to be sailing with ye! I hope you'll prove to be a fine addition to our crew." She beamed and gave a friendly salute to Owlbert so that he wouldn't feel left out.
Just then, the tent curtains parted again, and a familiar gangly figure blundered into their humble headquarters. "Avast!" Long Gem cried, excitedly shaking Bluemane by the shoulders. "Look who's stumbled upon our hideout, Cap'n!"
Pax, the other, spunkier Gryffindor, stumbled in seconds later, but they were in and out like a loose cannon. It was funny when they quite literally disarmed the scary girl (who still stood stonily by her bunk), but it was a shame that she hadn’t gotten to say hello.
Well, whatever the case, their brave crew was looking to be in ship shape!
But what was this? Long Gem took a quick sweep of the room, and noticed there were still three beds left unclaimed. "Aye, this is a problem," she muttered. "Keep on your toes, mateys! It seems we're not quite through with this first gauntlet..."【☆】★【☆】★【☆】★【☆】★【☆】

To say that Regina was unimpressed was an understatement. All of the other occupants were so woefully mediocre. Such childishness, too, from the looks of it - dressing up as Muggle pirates and talking with such a horrid speech. Not that Regina, whom had been overly sheltered all her life, knew much about what Muggles did for entertainment. But she digressed. It was going to be a dreadful summer with this lot.
She pretty much ignored all attempts at socialising with them as Athena casually started grooming her wings on her human's shoulder. Regina was still inspecting the bunks to make a decision on her territory when another person walked in, prompting the oldest witch to turn around and immediately recognised a face she'd rather forget. Or think of, at all. It was the insufferable Badger Emma Wynn - a mockery of a Prefect, as Regina preferred to dub her. Naturally she was quite amused by the way Wynn recoiled from simply being in Regina's presence, which indicated that the little Hufflepuff hadn't forgotten about the unforgiving Full Body-Bind Curse she'd placed on her last school year. Athena, her ever loyal white owl, was now staring eerily at Emma Wynn as Regina crossed her arms and removed her sunglasses in a pompous manner. Violet eyes glinted witch such malice, enough to make one cower back warily.
"What's the matter, little Badger? Still reeling back from a measly little curse, I see. Let us hope you do not lose your wand again, hm?"
Regina redacted her earlier thought of this summer being dreadful. Perhaps playing a bit on Wynn's obvious fear of her would be a sufficient entertainment to keep her from being bored. This camp was not on school grounds, therefore Prefects such as Wynn held little to no authority aside from the Professors supervising. And besides, a little bullying might teach the bumbling Mudblood to toughen up.
The raven-haired Gryffindor switched her attention to the girl who had casually introduced herself as "Gemima", albeit a little cautious. Regina was aware that she was creating some tension there with Wynn, but she honestly could careless. The more these little miscreants left her alone, the better. She was only here to escape from her controlling family, anyway, and because Kim had so graciously invited her.
"Miller. Regina Miller," She replied curtly, eyeing Gemina up and down. "And I have no intention of participating in such silliness."
She turned her back to the group then, and was promptly taken by surprise when a rather energetic person entered the tent. Regina recognised Pax Zhang immediately - not by acquaintance, but simply a fellow sport member. It wasn't uncommon for students on the Gryffindor sport teams to know each other by name, especially when Pax Zhang was co-Quidditch Captain. Though, being a refined duellist, Regina had never paid much attention to rowdy hobbies like Quidditch or Broom Racing.
What Regina hadn't expected for was her younger Housemate's assertiveness. Zhang had barely allowed her a word in as they nonchalantly took her belongings and threw them unceremoniously onto the top bunk. Even Athena was distressed by the surprise, as the owl flapped her wings rather violently when Regina recoiled back a little out of shock. However, in a blink of an eye, Zhang had already left the tent again and the older girl was left to reel back from whatever in Merlin's name had just happened.
"Right," She muttered to herself with a displeased frown, voice dripping with sarcasm. "This summer is going to be just marvelous."

Kim's Band of Mischievous Miscreants
Bluemane exploded in joy as the newcomer entered the room. So excited was she to see Sage, that she ignored the previous standoff and even managed to ignore the fearful look on Carrot-head the Red's unseasoned face.
"Ahhh, if it isn't Sage the Sea Lilly, at last present and accounted fer! Found yer sea legs, eh lassie?"
Ol' Sage the Sea Lilly, a blessing upon any ship, was driven to silence by the tense standoff. Why was everyone so worried? It was a ship. It was supposed to be filled with drinking and merriment as they prepared to pillage and plunder. This was all wrong.
"Worry not, my dear Sea Lilly, yer tardiness be fergiven and forgotten."
Turning to Carrot-head the Red, Captain Bluemane approached the timid crewlady quickly, jumping the final few steps. With a flourishing bow, she tossed her rapier aside, until it landed near the older newcomer in the doorway. As she rose from the bow, she attempted to take the suitcase from Carrot-head the Red and toss it roughly in the direction of the crew quarters. If she succeeded, it would land with a loud thud on the ground in front of one of the bunks. Choosing a bunk wasn't an important choice. It was merely a place to fall into and sleep after plundering and pillaging.
"Ye seem a bit rough around the edges, ol' Carrot-head, but yer bird do be mighty beautiful. Though, o' course she could ne'er compete with my dearest Amelia, but I welcome her aboard me ship."
Another entrance caught the blue captain's attention. It was Pax! The Pox of the Sea! The most terrifying, brutal pirate alive! A true master of the warhammer, and bringer of death and destruction to all who trespass upon the seas! Before Bluemane could call out, however, Pax was in and out of the ship, probably out and about on business related to their fearsome reputation.
Bluemane offered a solemn salute to the demigirl as they left.
At last, Captain Bluemane turned her attention once more to the newcomer who'd scared Carrot-head senseless and upset the balance of the ship so terribly.
Bluemane knew what was going on in an instant.
She staggered over to her rapier, grabbing it once more, and approached the girl who'd called herself 'Regina,' planting her blade firmly into the ground and leaning forward to gaze into the girl's violet eyes. Yes. It was as she thought.
"Yer no pirate. No plunderer. No scourge of the seven seas. It be not in yer blood. No. I know what ye are. Yer a warrior."
She began circling around the older girl, tracing her blade across the wooden floors.
"Ye stand fer honor on the battlefield, relishing the screams of yer foes as they fall te yer mighty blade. Ye stand fer power, and the ability ter wield it lest it wield you. Ye stand fer the strength to do what needs ter be done ter win."
She stopped, eyeing the girl up and down, from head to toe.
"Aye. Ye be a warrior of the noblest sort, undefeated in the field o' battle. Even I can see that. A warrior o' yer capabilities always be welcome aboard my ship, should ye deem us worthy o' yer talent. All ye need do is join me crew."
She stopped once more, standing before Regina. For the briefest moment, a bit of Sophia poked through Bluemane's personality.
"Please, Reg. It'll be fun," she asked with wide, watery eyes and a hopeful smile.

The Gryffindor quirked an eyebrow, looking at the blue-haired girl down her nose.
"Oh?" She drawled, mildly amused at the exaggerated speech but interest spiking at the obvious compliment. Even with the ridiculous Muggle pirate outfit, Regina still recognised the striking hair colour to be Sophia Nelson's - a friend of Kim whom she'd attended the Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw broom race earlier that year. Sharp orchid eyes were fixated on the younger witch as she circled Regina appreciatively, more praises tumbling from her lips that - surprisingly, given how she had never properly interacted with Nelson before - described the Lion's pride and thirst for victory without a single mistake.
The Ravenclaw was right. Regina was, if not, one of the most proficient duellists of her age anyone had ever witnessed. She came out of her very first battle victorious, endured the dreadful Curse of Bogies through sheer willpower and didn't make a single peep when her robes and skin were scorched by Incendio. Her spellwork was brilliant. And this Nelson girl was quickly making her way onto Regina's good book by flattering her ego so.
"Join your crew, you say," She said, her voice slow and sibilant but her eyes no longer held the disdain she initially regarded Nelson and everyone else in the tent with. "Though you have an excellent judge of character, I prefer not to be seen playing pretend like a common Muggle."
She made a show of bring her hand to her chin in a contemplative expression, until Nelson's demeanor changed with an insistent plea. For a short second, such behaviour reminded her of @Faye Simmons. It certainly seemed like what her redhead friend would have done. Regina let out a long, exasperated sigh - already regretting the choice she was about to make.
"Since you've begged so desperately, I shall humour you."
Well. This girl did feed her insatiable pride, after all. She wouldn't have agreed otherwise. Perhaps she would indulge this lot of miscreants just once. But she'd have to warn them to not tell the tale to anybody outside of this tent, or they'd be introduced to the end of her trigger-happy aspen wand...very quickly.

Scowling in Regina's direction, Emma made sure that her wand was still where she had put it in her pocket. "I'm sure I won't be so easily taken in again, thanks to you." She really was not looking forward to a whole month in a tent with Regina but she also didn't want to move tents either. Honestly why did Regina have to be here? Emma felt slightly guilty at the thought but her pride and ego still stung from that awful detention and subsequent rescue by Evelynn.
Grinning at the joyful pirate talk that had started once more, Emma giggled at Long Gem's silver behavior. "Is the hat a requirement, arr?" She probably wasn't talking exactly like a pirate, but throwing in random arr's was a start, at least.
Emma turned more fully to face the flaps of the tent at the sound of a voice. It sounded somewhat familiar, like she had heard it before. Catching sight of them, Emma really didn't know how her luck had turned out so terribly. One detention that had gone horribly, and one detention where she had ended up helping the pair who had broken the rules. It was like she was being haunted by the ghosts of detention past. "Seriously? What did I do?" slipped out without Emma's permission. Her eyes widened, and she dropped her bag, her now free hand flying to cover her mouth. Mumbling through her hand, she said "I'm sorry, that was very rude, I didn't mean that. I really didn't." Emma's face was red, and she could feel the heat in her cheeks as she looked down, making sure to keep her arm balanced so Owlbert didn't get tossed around.
Sighing a small sigh of relief that she would not have to share a bunk with Regina, Emma was spurred to choose a bunk by Pax's actions. Moving towards what looked like a free bunk, she placed Owlbert's cage down, hearing an excited hooting coming from the cage. "I hope it's okay that I take this one?"
Gritting her teeth at the muggle comment, Emma's shoulders creeped up her neck, and she took a very forceful breath out, determined not to let Regina get to her, and maybe she could even just pretend that she didn't exist for the rest of the summer. Maybe that would make things easier.
