As a core Unicorn Hair, while it makes for steady, reliable wands, does not produce the most powerful magic unless the wood compensates for this weak point. They are prone to being melancholic if mishandled and wands produced from Unicorn Hair can even go so far as to stop working entirely if their owner dies, provided they have been paired with a wand wood of that inclination.

I guess you can call me carefree. Plenty of people say that I talk too much, but I don't see it, personally. I love listening to other people, so I really can't imagine why other people wouldn't want the same. Oh well, can't blame them, can you? I suppose not everyone's in the mood to be bothered all the time. It's not such a bother to be loved, though, is it?

I'm just trying to be kind. In the end, we all go to the grave, so might as well try to make our time, and everyone else's, pleasant. Fate acts upon us, guiding us every which way, and all we can hope to do is follow our destiny. Destiny is a powerful thing, isn't it? You can spend your whole life running away from it, and somehow that is why it catches you. Think of those tragedies, Orpheus turning to see his beloved. True love, destined to fail because of that same love.

Oh, there I go rambling on again, don't I? In my spare time, I guess I enjoy nature, mostly. There is something incredibly peaceful about being surrounded by the wilderness, watching the stream flow over rocks, wearing it down, bit by bit. Does the rock think it a mistake to be there? Or is the flow of the water a gentle caress to it? Difficult to tell, but I don't believe it regrets it. For how can a mistake be regretted, when it teaches you? When you were destined to make it in the first place? When you live your days as if they were your last?

ᴏʙꜱᴇʀᴠᴀᴛɪᴏɴꜱ

Lucille goes through life with a 'what has to happen will happen, and what has happened had to happen' mindset, and does not seem to understand that her motto could be confusing. Lucille stands by it, firm in her belief in fate. She has a healthy work ethic, pushing herself to try her best and then leaving it all up to fate. Lucille isn't the kind to dwell on past mistakes, and so when things do not work out in her favor, she comforts herself with the knowledge that she tried her best.

This relaxed mindset can extend to other things. Lucille tries to live each day as if it were her last, so you'll never see her pass up any opportunity or experience. She is daring and bold in her own way, although looking at her you would think fear isn't in her vocabulary. Her firm belief that whatever happens is for the best leads her to be calm and focused in almost all problematic situations. Lucille is usually the rock in her friend groups, despite her tendency to be random and unpredictable, simply because when tough times come, there is no one better to have around.

Speaking of friends, Lucille finds no trouble in making them. She is incredibly extroverted, and has the habit of saying whatever comes to her mind, no matter what it is. This habit leads half the population to find her charming, and the other half to find her annoying. It seems that everything becomes all or nothing when Lucille is involved.

Most people find her exciting, because she has an energetic and unpredictable way about her. You never know what new thing Lucille will want to try next and, if you're speaking to her, whether you're a stranger she just met or a childhood friend, you're likely to be dragged along. Although, there is nothing she appreciates more than being dragged along herself, and participating in other people's interests and hobbies together.

I like bright colors! I usually wear those bright floral dresses or shirts that you can find, and I adore pink. Did you notice I try to color coordinate all my outfits? Right, sorry, you're interviewing me. As for physical features, most people say I have really big eyes, the "kind you write poetry about." Other than that, I can't think of something too intriguing about my features. I think beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, and most people who like my enthusiasm tend to think I'm cute. I've always kept my hair long. When I was younger, people used to compliment it because it was pretty long for a young child, but now, of course, it's nothing special. I don't wear any makeup yet. I think I might in a few years, and that would certainly look striking. I'd be curious to try bold, colorful makeup to match my outfits.

Lucille has dark hair and dark eyes, almost like pools of shadow. Her hair flows to her mid-back, but she prefers to keep it tame in an updo of some sort, typically either a messy bun or a ponytail. You'll find an extra hair tie always on her wrist and, when she feels like it's clashing with her outfit, she'll have it hiked up under her sleeve. Her skin is slightly tanned, the mark of someone who has spent quite a while outside. She is a little short, standing at 4 feet and 7 inches.

Lucille is no stranger to the fact that she had a privileged upbringing. Her mother comes from a powerful wizarding family, and is a charming, social woman. When her mother married her father, the family was horrified. They were people of old-fashioned beliefs, and wouldn't have stood for their daughter marrying a wizard of "lower status," much less a Muggle. The family was quick to cut off ties with her, but, as a final dramatic gesture, gave her all the money that had been set aside for her, claiming that any association with her was a blemish upon their name, including her money. Her mother's admirable demeanor meant she excelled professionally and, with the boost she received from her family, albeit out of spite, she was quick to establish herself.

Generational wealth is a powerful thing, and thus, Lucille grew up in a large, sprawling property in the countryside. Their land was private and, aside from the groundskeepers and caretakers, no visitor dared to venture there. They were near Muggle country, and Lucille attended a Muggle school, as her father attempted desperately to teach his children how to do things "without hocus pocus help," as he put it. He loved his wife, but he firmly believed magic was the easy way out, and, at least in the beginning of their lives, he wanted them to learn resilience and "the real world." Of course, her parents' idea of the real world was a posh private school.

As such, Lucille has grown up incredibly sheltered, most of her days spent riding around the estate on horseback, exploring the countryside with her siblings, and sprawled on the ground with a dog or a cat nestled close as she read a book. The people she has met have either liked her, or been slightly afraid of her, as Muggles seemed to have a strange feeling about her mother, and even those who disliked her, didn't dare to act upon it for fear of "that strange woman."

Now, Lucille is incredibly excited to attend Hogwarts. She loves the magical world, and is so excited to explore it, since she never had a chance to be part of it otherwise.

Lucille's first instance of magic was hardly a spectacle; quite unlike most things Lucille is a part of. Lucille was 5 years old, sitting on the couch, excitedly waiting for her favorite TV show to come on. She had always been a child buzzing with excitement, and failed to notice her mother walking by her holding a cup of tea. Her TV show came on, and she squealed in excitement, as children do, and startled her mother. The next thing she knew, burning hot tea spilled on her. Lucille screamed, as her mother hurriedly set the cup down. All of a sudden, the pain dissipated as suddenly as it started. Lucille quietened and touched the tea stain on her clothes. Cold to the touch. At first, she thought her mother had cast a spell, but she had barely had time to react. Her mother confirmed it for her. "Lu, I think you just did some magic," she said with a warm smile.

Sources say the couple met while Adelaide was working for the Ministry. The Rosenhart family is horrified, claiming that they "do not wish to associate with her any longer" and they "failed in her upbringing." Adelaide herself was not available for comment. Could this be a warning for traditional pureblood wizard families to keep their children from working closely with Muggles?

Adelaide Rosenhart is a fiercely determined, fiercely driven woman. She values those she loves over everything else, and will do anything in her power to protect and shield them. To an outsider, she can be a bit intimidating, but to all her friends and family, Adelaide is sweet and gentle. Lucille is very close to her mother and the two share quite a close bond. She tries not to tell Lucille much about her family, for fear Lucille might be intimidated by pureblood wizards or feel that she might be inferior to them. She also doesn't want Lucille to think that all pureblood wizards would dislike her and be unkind to her.

She comes from a wealthy, powerful wizarding family and, growing up, it seemed Adelaide would follow in their footsteps. Being exposed to an environment where all the wizards around her were full of scorn for Muggles, it was not surprising when Adelaide shared that opinion. That was until she attended Hogwarts. Slowly, those layers of hate for Muggles peeled back as she interacted with Muggle-borns and half-bloods and, slowly, Adelaide began questioning her family's beliefs.

By the time she graduated, Adelaide was sure her family was wrong. Every summer, she shut them out mentally, blocking all their ideas of Muggles and half-bloods. In fact, she began working in the Ministry to uphold the Statute of Secrecy. Adelaide interacted with quite a few Muggles when she would go to reverse the effects of accidental magic and, with each meeting, her admiration of Muggles and their strange ways grew.

It was only a matter of time before Adelaide met a particularly interesting Muggle. The man caught her attention, and never dropped it. They began to date in secret. He never met her family, but he didn't question it. Adelaide was torn. Her life's work was overseeing the Statute of Secrecy, but here was this man who she was sure she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. And, when he proposed, Adelaide could not say no.

Of course, now she had to tell her family she was marrying a Muggle, and before they married, she had to show her Muggle fiancé who she really was. She was far more worried about the family than she was about him. He had always been accepting of her and, although magic took him quite a while to understand and process, never once did leaving her cross his mind, even when she warned him he might wake up one day to see his future child levitating across the room because it panicked.

Her family, however, was a different story. Their daughter working in such close proximity of Muggles was one thing, but marrying one? Simply out of the question. Adelaide didn't back down, and nor did her family. They accused her of tarnishing their legacy, ruining the Rosenhart name, and Adelaide was quick to remind them that their ancestors were far more accepting of Muggles and half-bloods than they were. She said that they were the ones tarnishing the Rosenhart name, not her, and, whether they liked it or not, her children would be Rosenharts and carry the Rosenhart name. They would be the ones to fix the legacy of the Rosenharts, to restore their family to acceptance, which is what they had once stood for.

Try as she might, her family wouldn't hear of it. They cast her out, exiled her, and she was quick to cut ties with them. The family sent her away with all the money they had set aside for her, claiming both her and her belongings were cursed, and they wouldn't keep them for fear of her absurd ideas spreading. Of course, that was all a bit of dramatics to accompany the dramatic gesture, but Adelaide didn't mind. Despite their differences, she loved her family, and she was torn at this treatment. But, at the end of the day, she chose her own peace, and her own life, over them.

Born in England to Pakistani parents, Subhaan Riaz had spent his whole life here. Growing up, he would visit Pakistan during the summer but, for the most part, his heart and soul remained in England. Subhaan came from your average Muggle family, completely unaware of the magical world. He obtained a degree in neuroscience, and was conducting a study on how trauma could affect the brain. It was this study that changed his life.

Subhaan heard of a man who had been experiencing hallucinations after a car accident. Subhaan had been nearby and had quickly rushed to the scene, wanting to get information while it was still fresh in the man's mind. Once he had been cleared of any serious injuries and was open to visitors, Subhaan asked the man if he could conduct a short interview for his study. However, the man could not remember anything anymore, saying that it had been a split second hallucination, and he had just been imagining things. Subhaan left the man alone, and proceeded to bump into a woman. Little did he know he had just found his future wife.

Subhaan and the woman, Adelaide Rosenhart, hit it off immediately. They got along splendidly, and Subhaan was sure that she was the woman destined for him. There was just one thing he found odd. Every time he would ask Adelaide about her job, she would simply say that she worked for the government. When Subhaan would inquire more, her answers would become deceptively vague. She had a special talent to use a lot of words to say nothing. She would ramble on and on about her job but, when Subhaan would think back on the conversation, he would realize that he hadn't really learned anything more at all.

As the days turned to months and the months turned to years, Subhaan decided to take the leap of faith. He proposed, and was delighted when she said yes. And then, finally, to his surprise, she began to reveal herself to him. "I suppose it is time to tell you who I really am," she said, and Subhaan's mind began to race with conspiracies. Of course the woman I love is a foreign spy. Just my luck, he thought. The truth, of course, was different. She revealed she was a witch, and Subhaan found himself saying. "Oh, good, it's just magic," he said, relieved his future wife wasn't a spy. "Wait, it's magic!" And then he fainted.

When he came to, his fiancée was right there with him. She made him a cup of tea, sat him down, and explained her life to him. Subhaan was in shock, but he listened. Leaving her didn't even cross his mind. In fact, now he was even more infatuated with this amazing woman and her mysterious world.

After what she had told him about her family, he wasn't surprised that they didn't accept him, or her anymore, for that matter. He listened as she told him all about the verbal war that had happened when she had told them, and then she requested for their children to have her last name. Subhaan didn't mind, but he wanted them to share a last name after their marriage and, to be honest, he was more than happy to change his name to a wizard one. His request in return was that the children be taught his culture, and his language and Adelaide agreed wholeheartedly. And so, after marriage, Subhaan took his wife's last name, and, as their children grew, every summer, they carried on the tradition of visiting Pakistan.

ɢᴇɴᴇᴠɪᴇᴠᴇ ʀᴏꜱᴇɴʜᴀʀᴛ ꜱɪꜱᴛᴇʀ Reducio Gen is the eldest Rosenhart child. She is currently 22 years old and works as a Curse-Breaker. She is by far the most competitive Rosenhart child, and her drive and determination match her mother. Gen was a Slytherin in Hogwarts and, during her education, her family seldom saw her, simply because her schedule was filled with sports and studies. Her advice to Lucille is often along the lines of ambition and accomplishment.

ᴏʟɪᴠᴇʀ ʀᴏꜱᴇɴʜᴀʀᴛ ʙʀᴏᴛʜᴇʀ Reducio Ollie is much kinder and patient with Lucille than Gen is. A Hufflepuff to the soul, Ollie is the reason the family has fostered and adopted countless pets. He has the habit of collecting random strays and bringing them home. During his time in Hogwarts, Ollie constantly sent the family letters. He truly did not keep anything hidden in his time at Hogwarts.
