FUTURE CAREERS Welcome All

Ooh this is very cool! I've been wanting to write these down or talk to someone about some ideas for this for a while!

For Mahlioz I've got three main ideas:
- Metal charmer
- Author
- Librarian
But I'm thinking wandmaker might work out (she would be following in her grandmother's footsteps) and there are quite a few jobs in the Ministry that she could be decent at. And duelling could be a possibility. For now I'm not too sure yet!

My head canon for Kaitlyn has been:
Healer
Herbologist
I can also see her taking a job in Academia, as well. Or even a translator.

I never really thought about it, but I think March could be:
A healer
A professor
A dragonoligist like Cassian
Maybe a quidditch player?
Or a mazooligist...

Ophelia's interests are so academic based, even I'm surprised.
Librarian.
Historian.
Author/Journalist.
Magizoologist.

These are all so cool! I think it will be interesting to see where our characters end up as they continue to learn and grow at Hogwarts.

@Mahlioz Evethisaw Metal charmer? That's really cool, I haven't heard of it before, I'll have to check it out!
And maybe she becomes an author by writing a book about wandmaking or her profession?

@Kaitlyn Connor Healer and herbologist is a great pairing! I've just learned about the internships at Hogwarts, and Healer is one of them in the Hospital Wing! Maybe Kaitlyn would be interested in that her third year?

@March Calister That's a wide variety of possibilities! I'm excited to see where March ends up someday! Dragonologist would be wicked sick, though!

@Ophelia Northwell I feel like this is very Newt Scamander, but just more academic, haha. Do you think Ophelia would rather focus on the writing aspect of Magizoology? Perhaps studying ancient/extinct magical creatures? Combining the historian with magizoologist?

I was thinking of doing that when she's a third year. I noticed those internships just today, too. I feel she'd love to do the astronomy one currently (at least until she's a third year).

I think that's a great idea! The internships will be cool to help us explore our interests or even find things we like that we didn't know we'd enjoy!

This is really fun! And I feel like Ophelia would probably go with Magizoologist, as you said, and then branch off into different careers from there. She's one of those life-long learners and animals are her haven, so she'd absolutely love it. Maybe as she gets older, she could change from a Magizoologist to a Librarian, just to try out different things.

Del would probably love to work in the ministry when she’s older
