Ophelia heard someone speak and turned around, confused. Was there someone that she knew well here? Who...? Oh! It was Quinn. Ophelia smiled at her friend. How had she not known that Quinn was a benched Quidditch player as well?

"Yeah, this is my first game." Ophelia hesitated. Would Quinn find her inexperience odd? "Is it yours? I'm a second-string seeker. What position are you playing?" She turned back to the game for a moment, her eyes widening as she saw someone from her own team score once more. Why was someone from Gryffindor not defending?

<broom effects> in the role of Seeker you when you have found the snitch, if someone attempts to use Alley Oop to help you find the snitch, you get three rolls instead of 2, with the second-lowest roll being used instead of the lowest. However, with this broom you do not gain the +1 chance to grab the snitch for rounds that the Alley Oop is used. To clarify, each round someone attempts to grab a snitch they get a +1 to the attempt and this stacks. There is no bonus (or stack from this round's attempt to grab) to grabbing the snitch.

Quinn smiled as Ophelia turned to her. A breath she hadn't been aware or holding flew out. Ophelia was just as inexperienced as her.
"Yup, my first game." Quinn replied. Wow, seeker? That's a cool position. Quinn thought.
"Seeker? That's really cool Ophelia! I'm a chaser- well benched chaser but you know..." Quinn shrugged as she trailed off. Quinn gasped as she noticed someone falling from there broom. A Gryffindor. She cheered as a point was scored. The other team didn't even seem to be defending there goal.

Ravenclaws were really quite good at this whole Quaffle thing, weren’t they? Captain Cecily easily earned their team another fifty points, and their beater took out a few more players on the opposing team! Was this set out to be the Eagles’ first Quidditch win this year? Renelle dearly hoped so.

Charlie continued to watch Cecily, her team captain, score more and more points. Charlie grinned when the announcer shared the score, 100 to 0, Ravenclaw. Since Cecily had the quaffle, Charlie began to relax, but she still stayed alert just in case. Charlie didn't want to get hit with a rouge blunger, especially since she was their best keeper with more health and abilities.

Charlie watched as Odilon hit Jorah. She was very angry, but then pleased when she watched him knock both Ethan and Odilon off their own brooms. Gryffindor was down even more people, but Charlie did not feel sorry for them in any way. Charlie hoped that Ravenclaw would pull through and win the game for the 7th years on her team.

𝓐nother 50 points for Ravenclaw. Bex found herself clutching the edges of the reserve bench with white-knuckles, eyes kept firmly on the sky. 100-0. An early snitch grab could easily make it all for naught, but they were so, so tantalizingly close to securing a win to send their captain off with. As if the universe could sense her fledgling hopes, the Gryffindor seeker seemed to spot his quarry, though Bex would remain blissfully ignorant of this fact from the ground below.

She winced as Jorah was grazed by a well-aimed bludger, but the older boy rallied phenomenally, knocking both of the Gryffindor beaters down like dominoes. That left the Gryffindor team entirely beater-less, a crippling sentence in a game this violent. They. Were. So. Close. She worried that she'd break either the bench or her fingers at this rate. She hadn't realized how hard she was biting her lip until the metallic taste of blood alerted her to the carnage.

As Finnegan once again rejoined the other fliers, she couldn't help but hope that Aly would catch the snitch, and do so quickly. This game was proving an especially violent one, and Finn's return to the splash zone was unsettling for her. Her desire to see him play and play well warred with her desire for him to spend the rest of his life living in a knife-proof bubble. You know, normal things.

Before she could register the happenings on the pitch, the distance voice of the commentator announced the score to be 100 to 0. Echoes of the declaration reverberated across the wide field, causing the corners of Ebony's mouth to twitch upwards. Their captain was truly amazing to have scored goal after goal. Her skills were unquestionably high, but Ebony couldn't help but wonder what was happening to the Gryffindor player who was supposedly guarding the hoops.

She scanned for the heavy iron bludgers she was to look out for, her spirits falling when she glimpsed them slightly scrape Jorah. But when the beater took out two Gryffindor players in a skilled swing of the bat, her enthusiasm flew high again.

What a round to miss out on, it seemed to be raining lions. Regardless of how good that looked for their team, Winnie couldn't help but wince each time someone was knocked from their broom, being well aware of how painful it could be waking up in the hospital wing the next day.

PARAGON OF HEALTH: Winnie is boosting Aly Salinger and Ophelia Northwell, giving them an extra 10% of health.

As the game raged on, Jorah juggled between making offensive plays and dodging incoming attacks. He swerved to his starboard side, but not quick enough as a bludger skidded across his left shoulder. Jorah managed to remain on broom, but his deltoid twinged in agony. It would develop one heck of a bruise, if not a hematoma altogether. Ouchy, rub some Vick’s on it!

Jorah was infuriated, inciting his wrath would cost Gryffindor the penalty of pain. Surging with the resolve to fly, fight, and win, Jorah swung his bat towards an incoming bludger. The cannonball found its mark, terminating Ethan then Odilon with the richochet!

Though no brooms were harmed in the making of this play, their riders would not be getting up any time soon.
