What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.
Character Questionnaire
• Where were they raised?• Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?Viva was raised in the muggle world, in Yorkshire, England. She lived there all her life, going to school close to her home and never really leaving the area until she went to Hogwarts.• How do they feel about that?Unfortunately, Viva's family is quite poor at this particular moment of her life. Whereas once they had been a comfortable middle class family, they are now struggling just to pay the rent and purchase food for their next meals.• Did they have a happy childhood?Viva isn't sure how she feels. The reason for her family's lack of wealth is because her father lost his job at the ministry a while ago, due to his employer not appreciating the fact that he was indeed married to a muggle.• What is their favorite clothing style?I wouldn't use the word happy. Viva's childhood was... not exactly great, but not terrible. She grew up not being very close to her father, because he seemed always angry at her or life in general. Her mum didn't talk to her much, and Viva didn't have very many other friends. So, she was kind of a lonely child growing up.• What sort of music do they like?Viva loves to look nice. She loves dressing up, or at least looking like she made an effort with her attire. The truth is, Viva would really look good in any clothes you decided to put on her, she just has that sort of look. She's very pretty, and can pull practically anything off.• What's their favorite book genre?Viva loves music. Pretty much any kind of music. She plays the violin remarkably well, and enjoys playing many different genres. She also plays a bit of piano, though not as well as her violin. She has always enjoyed musical theatre, so she likes listening to that style of music a lot. She loves classical, beautiful, moving pieces that she can play on her violin as well.• Which class is their favorite?Everything! Being quite the voracious reader, Viva will read quite literally anything she can get her hands on. History, novels, newspapers, fantasy, mysteries, poetry, the list goes on and on.• How would they prefer to travel? (Hippogriff, broom, car, etc.)Viva would probably say that Charms is her favourite class at the moment. She greatly enjoys learning new spells, and loves the professor as well. Later, when she can take the class, it will become Care of Magical Creatures.• What do they look for in a friend?Definitely by some sort of animal. Viva loves all creatures so much, she feels this connection to them. She thinks magical creatures are wonderful and fascinating, so that is definitely the way she'd want to travel. By dragon, hippogriff, thestral, etc., etc.• What is their strongest trait? (Feel free to list two or three)She firstly looks for kindness and compassion. If someone shows that, Viva will be immediately loyal to them to the end. She also looks for honesty.• Are they typically underestimated (in strength, intelligence, maturity, etc)?We will see as her character continues to develop, but at the moment, probably her loyalty and empathy to others(I know, typical Hufflepuff). Also her intelligence. Viva is extremely smart!Viva is definitely underestimated quite a bit. She is very little for her age, a petite girl, as well as being quite shy when she first meets someone. She gives the impression of a helpless child at times, when in fact she is not. She is a badger. They may be kind and little, but they sure can fight if pushed too far.
Character Questionnaire
• Where were they raised?• Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?A secluded plot of land in the British countryside, completely hidden under muggle-repelling charms, wards and even a fidelius charm to ensure that River, her family and their collection of magical creatures that live on the estate grounds are fully protected. The only people outside of her family who know where the estate is are her tutors from before she started attending Hogwarts.• How do they feel about that?River's family is quite wealthy indeed. They come from an extremely old Norse line of purebloods, before immigrating to the United Kingdom in the late 18th century and have had a lot of success in investing in various major business that many know of today.• Did they have a happy childhood?River grew up with everything she could ever want or need a single payment away, but she still knows to be grateful for everything she has as she understands that she is lucky to live such a life.• Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.Yes, if not a little lonely since she was kept mostly isolated from the world outside of the Luxley family manor. She has made many friends among the magical creatures her mother kept to study when she still worked as a magizoologist and was on rather good terms with her tutors before arriving at Hogwarts• What is their favorite clothing style?River witnessed a rather violent death of one of the occamies she had been friends with when she was a child. Because she has hyperthymesia, River remembers the entire event vividly, but has been attending meeting with a mind healer for the last few years to help her manage never forgetting any of her experiences.• Do they have any favorite game(s)?River loves wearing darker colours: blacks, dark greens and the occasional light grey-blue like her eyes. She enjoys wearing jewelry, especially snake-themed ones as well as any that incorporates Norse runes into the metal, such as rings, pendants and earrings.• What sort of music do they like? Not really, well human ones at least. She enjoys competing with one of the nifflers, Ægir, in seeing how much of her mother's jewelry they can steal and stash in River's bedside cupboard before her mother notices (they always return them though...eventually).• What's their favorite book genre?River greatly enjoys any classical piano music, especially after learning to play herself since she was 4 years old, her favourite pieces to play are Rush E and Vivaldi's The Four Seasons.• Which class is their favorite?Anything to do with magical creatures, she has probably read it before. Any time her parents go shopping and see something new relating to them, they buy her a copy to add to their enormous library.• How would they prefer to travel? (Hippogriff, broom, car, etc.)Charms currently, but River is excited to start CoMC in third year as well as ancient runes.• What do they look for in a friend?River doesn't have much experience travelling so she wouldn't really know what her preference would be. The idea of riding a magical creature, especially a dragon, would be a dream come true though.• What would your character see in the Mirror of Erised?Someone they can talk to about their interests without feeling judged. Someone who respects creatures like she does, even if they aren't as interested in them as she is. Someone who is kind and loyal but also has a good sense of humor and wouldn't be offended at her sarcastic remarks that she makes occasionally if she is comfortable around them.• What is their strongest trait? (Feel free to list two or three)Her as an adult surrounded by her family, friends and as many magical creature one could imagine either hung onto her or around her in the background.• Who do they admire most?River has Hyperthymesia, and as such cannot forget anything she experiences, whether that is through sight, smell, taste, sound or touch. This makes her incredibly intelligent as her brain is essentially its own library of information that is constantly expanding.• Are they typically underestimated (in strength, intelligence, maturity, etc)? Her mother, although she also greatly respects Charlie Weasley as he is her inspiration to perhaps one day become a dragon trainer, if she doesn't become a magizoologist after her mother that is.• What do they like about themselves?River has a rather quiet and awkward personality, so it is easy to assume that she does not like confrontation and would be an easy target, but River is a Slytherin for a reason and will find ways to get back at someone without ever being caught or even considered as the culprit.• Do they have a motto, mantra, or favorite quote?River loves her grey-blue eyes and how her mother says they change shade with her emotions."Better to die with honor than to live with shame." River takes great pride in her Norse heritage and is not afraid to showcase that, always having something covered in Norse runes on her person. So of course, her favourite quote is from the culture of vikings. River will always ensure that she lives in a way that will not bring her or her family shame, as that is a fate worse than death to her.

• Did they have a happy childhood?Oh yes! My parents were always sweet to me and my brother's an angel. Well, most of the time, I guess.
• Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.It must've been when I was seven, when May, my neighbour and best friend, came over to play. We were running around when she tripped on a rock in the garden, and opened her knee. I do remember, it was bleeding quite a lot. I took care of that little wound. That would've been my first practice as Healer, I suppose. That's what my mom says.

Character Questionnaire
• Where were they raised?• Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?Eugenia was born in Athens, Greece and lived there for some time. When she turned four, just a few days after her little sister was born, the family moved to London, England due to the country’s deteriorating economy. They now live in a two story home in the outskirts of London in a small Wizarding Community. For the holidays, she often goes back to Greece. Their house at Athens and then the house of her maternal relatives in Thessaloniki is always waiting for them. This is why Eugenia knows both Greek and English, as well as Russian and French. (When it comes to Wizarding Education, Greece is kinda weird. The southern part belongs to Beauxbatons, while the northern to Durmstrang. Her father is a Beauxbatons alumni, while her mother a Durmstrang one. So they taught her both languages, just in case she got accepted in either school).• How do they feel about that? The Karageorgiadis and the Smyrnidis are quite wealthy, but they are not show-offs. Being two of the most prominent Greek pure blood lines, they hold some business and political power. Eugenia doesn’t talk about it a lot, unless she is forced to. Or in a pure blood gathering.• Did they have a happy childhood?Eugenia is very great full of her family’s high status back home. She thanks god every day for this blessing and stays humble about it. When it comes to using that wealth, she is smart about it, trying not to show it that much or spend a lot of her money. Her parents send her some allowance every week, which she keeps in a safe place. The things she owns are of good quality, but not flashy or visibly expensive. She doesn’t talk about it that much.• Before their Hogwarts letter, what was their most influential life event? Good or bad.In general, the young Greek did have a happy childhood. There were many ups and downs in the middle, but it was generally okay. She was lonely at times, lost in books or her own little worlds. But the kind girl did flourish and soften all her edges. Reality caught up to her in the end, after certain few events that changed her life and her perception of things. She became more introverted and reserved; the little ray of sunshine she was not being there quite as much anymore. Homeschooling from here mum wasn’t difficult, and she got a normal amount of attention from her family. She would say it was nice, but a bit difficult towards the end.• What is their favorite clothing style?Oof. Many. First, her sister’s birth. One of the best things that happened in her life. Ifigenia is her greatest friend, ally and confidant. They love each other sooooo much. Then, is the move to England. It was confusing at first, but Eugenia managed triumphantly. Now, you wouldn’t be able to distinguish her from a normal English child, unless you heard her straight up mutter or speak in Greek. Next, is her first instance of magic. It left her happy, happy that she was a witch, continuing the family tradition. And lastly, her grandfather’s death on 4/5/2022. It was the only negative influence, making her more closed and reserved. It’s not something that she has recovered from yet. She is still grieving him, her photographic memory not really helping the process. She is now more introverted, but she still sees him inside her heart.• Do they have any favorite game(s)?Eugenia opts for traditional feminine clothing eg. Dresses. But she also like some pants and a nice blouse and the occasional overalls. There are a lot of patterns, single colours and flower themes. She likes her nice and fancy clothes. And when it comes to formal clothing, she likes long and decorated dresses. Laws, flowers etc.• What sort of music do they like?Um, not one specifically. There are some little games she’d play with her sister that she liked. When she was younger, she’d play with dolls a lot. Now, it’s getting lost in her imaginary worlds, if it counts as a game. To that, add Quiddich and Duelling. Broom Racing is kinda mid to her.• What's their favorite book genre?Eugenia listens to a lot of Greek songs. She has a soprano voice and a love for her violin. She knows how to play a lot of classical pieces and has a lot of sheet music from Greek songs. Eugenia and Ifigenia would sometimes duet; singing or instruments, the former playing the violin and the latter the viola. Since she is a descendant of wizards, she doesn’t know a lot of things about newer muggle music genres. But she knows muggle Greek songs, not pop or rap genre though.• Which class is their favorite?Oh, Eugenia likes books in general. Whether it is a history book or fiction, if it lands in her hands, that specific book is going to get a thorough read from her. She just likes reading stuff so much, that she visits the library quite often, borrowing many books at a time. Being able to read books quickly and having a perfect memory has done more to help her go in that direction. And this hyperfixiation was established long ago, as learned how to read on her own when she was 4.• How would they prefer to travel? (Hippogriff, broom, car, etc.)All of them. No specifics. She excels in all of them. Sometimes, Eugenia wonders why the Sorting Hat placed her in Hufflepuff, since her bravery and cunning were there in small amounts, especially that latter, opposed to her intellect and studiousness. So yeah, she’s just a top student loving all classes.• Is there a broom they want? If they already have their favorite, what makes it great?Any way, she doesn’t really mind it. Although Eugenia would admit, flying on a magical creature is certainly very intriguing. When it comes to Muggle modes of transport, she doesn’t know any, so no experience in that field.• What do they look for in a friend?Yeah. There is one. First, a broom has become a necessity for Eugenia, since she is a first-string chaser for Hufflepuff. She owns a Comet 180, but she’s trying to save up for a Silver Arrow. It has many great qualities, reaching very high speeds. An Oakshaft 79 would be nice too, but that is a later goal.• What would your character see in the Mirror of Erised?A lot of things. Kindness, honesty, respect to her, a willingness to share experiences, similar interests. Maybe something connecting them with each other. In a second degree, intelligence and resourcefulness. She wants her friends to see her for whom she truly is, not for whom society wants her to be or how she is labelled.• What is their strongest trait? (Feel free to list two or three)Eugenia would open her eyes slowly. Behind her stood a man and beside her, three little kids. Her own children. They hugged her with delight. Behind her, a NEWT degree, all Outstandings, and she stood there as an Auror/Healer. A bit more towards the back, her parents and rest of the family, including her now deceased paternal grandfather, smiling at her. She is crying tears of joy. This is the perfect little life she has created. A quiet and loving one.• Who do they admire most?Kindness, Intelligence, Thoughtfulness, Respect, Honesty. Maybe Creativity and Empathy too.• Is there someone they wish they could meet? Her mother. But she generally looks up to the soul inside her, to her closest friends and her sister. But many family members deserve her attention too.• Are they typically underestimated (in strength, intelligence, maturity, etc)? Not someone specifically. She looks up to many people, but not someone she hasn’t met yet. Or she has no chance of meeting for some very obvious reasons death. She’d like to see her grandfather again. And perhaps some of her ancestors. To discover the past is the way you learn more about your future.• What do they like about themselves?Yes. As a Hufflepuff, she is underestimated in many terms as the badgers are the “kind and unspecial” kids of the bunch. So, she is often underestimated in terms of intelligence and protectiveness. Also, certain events have made her more mature than the typical child of her age, so that is another term. The Karageorgiadi family isn’t a very well known one in the UK too, so their family power is sometimes underestimated in the pure blood world.• Do they have a motto, mantra, or favorite quote? She likes her character a lot, since it fits her family’s ideals and helps her excell. Then, perhaps, her ability to achieve perfection with ease. She likes her heritage, and how a bunch of refugee families made her into who she is.You should follow your own path, with dignity and the pursuit of perfection
You should always expect the unexpected. Because when you look into my eyes, you don’t expect seeing the Greek Terror.
It’s your experiences and past that shape who you are.
What did you expect from this little Greek girl? Certainly not everything you saw right?

• Where were they raised?• Is their family wealthy? Poor? Comfortable?Violeta and her siblings were all raised in a home in California, and also had a ranch in Texas, but they moved only a little bit before Cassidy, the eldest daughter turned 11, so she could attend Hogwarts and not Ilvermorny. As to the reason the family moved, their father had gotten a much better job offer in Manchester than he had in California, which he discussed with the family and they all decided to move. Unfortunately a fire happened in October of 2024, when a fire struck the old Roux Manor, the one Violeta’s grandfather had grown up in, before he moved to the United States when he was already a young man.• How do they feel about that? The Roux family is of extreme wealth, of course. Only the best for the best.• Did they have a happy childhood?Sometimes it’s a good thing, sometimes it’s not so good.
