Justin briefly shivered as he turned to look at Brooke's face for a second.

"She 100% thought about kicking my ass just now."

He then turned to the Slytherin boy. "If you're a seer then why are you so worried about the prediction you made about the game?" Justin bluntly asked Tommy. "The only reason why I would have to be empathetic to you in this situation is if you lied about being a seer or if you are not sure of your prediction... which if that is the case... are you even a seer?" Justin asked.

"You tried fooling me to root against Ravenclaw and got mad when you got caught. What's the issue?" Justin glared at the boy. "Why you so upset in the first place? You should've already seen it coming. SEER. If you were a real seer you would've foreseen me not falling for your tricks and would not have tried that dumb prank in the first place."

In the midst of the aggression however, while Tommy wasn't looking Justin let out a little smirk. The boy wasn't really mad at him. He was challenging Tommy to stand up for himself.

None of that sissy passive aggressive stuff Tommy. Come at me. Let me know your true thoughts. Be a man. Stand up for yourself Justin grinned even wider as he thought these thoughts.

Justin taunted Tommy as he cheered on top of his lungs.

"Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw" The boy chanted without breaking eye contact with Tommy.

Bloody hell, will that lot shut it?

For once, she'd been here on time, and what was she rewarded with? Tommy the wee seer lad Patterson, Justy McChatterbox Shin, and Brookie Brookline Tiger Princess could you be any more Welsh Quinn.

Was God testing her patience?

Astra had been the row ahead of these quacks, trying to have a good spot where she could easily see the entire track without any sort of lense to aid her. The back of the track was a little fuzzy, but that was alright. A blue blob was a bird and a green blob a snake and that was that, boom, the end, el fin.

Then Justy Blabberface Screech made it his personal mission to break Astra's eardrums and insult a fellow snake. She fought the urge to glance backwards till the girl swimming in her accent came along. The look in her eyes must have been akin to murder. Astra was talented at masking her emotions in expressions, but when she couldn't be bothered, her RBF could easily shut someone up.

Don't say anything, don't say anything-

Boy, you did not just insult the racers.

"Hey!" she said harshly, twisting around. "I've nothing against your little social club and insulting each other to kingdom come, but by Merlin, please take it elsewhere and do not insult the racers!"

Colin was off his broom. He didn't look to be doing so well these days.

Again, bloody Justy. Again, she turned around. "Listen, friend," she hissed. "Mr. Patterson didn't come here to be harrassed by someone who doesn't know what 'goodbye' means." And here, she turned to the little Welsh barbie. "And he didn't come here to get grilled for a 'vision' by you Miss Quinn. He's expressed discomfort and a desire for you to leave so why don't the two of you just shut the hell up and take your chitter chatter to the nosebleeds, hm?" She jabbed a finger towards the top row of the stands. "Might I remind you, he was here first."

By the time she'd turned around again, Colin was back up, a Ravenclaw racer who seemed vaguely familiar was ascended, the eldest(?) racer was back a few obstacles?, and Winchect seemed off since she passed by the cockatrice (which was bloody cool-looking as long as you didn't have a staring contest with it) but at least she spotted the Ashwinder eggs and made it snow on them. She wasn't so lucky in spotting the trees.

"Insulting each other to kingdom come. Who talks like that," Justin began laughing out loud. "Yes, meh lord. Hear ye hear ye. We are insulting each other to kingdom come." He held his stomach and laughed even harder.

"And don't talk to Brookie like that. That's my friend. What was your name again? Pasta Fork or something?" Justin glared.

"You thought you did something with your little monologue," Justin laughed even harder. "You didn't see that coming, did ya, Tommy?"

The boy gathered himself. And calmly looked at the redhead girl. "If my petty banter affects the emotional state of the racers, then they are in big trouble. Have more faith in our athletes' mental fortitude."

He then turned to Tommy and gave him a gentle genuine smile. "You have friends that care about you, I'm glad."

The boy, feeling both proud and happy for his very different Slytherin friend, tapped him on the shoulder. "Don't lose this one. She seems very reliable and loyal as a friend. I'm glad you have people that care about you. If this vision thing doesn't work out, I'm not too worried if you have people like her."

Justin then stared deep into Astra's eyes. "For me though, this particular friend is not that desirable. She's impressive though, I'll admit," Justin grunted. "Unfortunately, she insulted one of my closest friends," he said while glaring at Pasta Fork.

The black-haired Ravenclaw boy then found a section with a lot more Ravenclaws. "Let's go to blue territory, Brookie. Someone pissed on this section and it became green," Justin said, sticking his tongue out at Astra.

The boy then whistled a jazzy tune as he skipped over to the Ravenclaw section.

"Throw me to the wolves, and I'll come back leading the pack,"
Brooke stood stunned by the girl who was speaking harsh to her and Justin. Damn it, she‘s right, she thought to the deepest corner of herself where she knew nobody would read her thoughts. But she was just asking. Was that so bad? But Brooke shrugged it off and wanted to say that the girl is right but Justin kept rambling. Or should it be ranting quickly?

As Justin continued on, Brooke thought he had just made the matter worst. He did though. Justin, bloody stop this, she opened her mouth to say but nothing came out.

When Justin started whistling, she glared at Justin and whispered quickly to him, “That’s not a good thing to say.” She was shaking slightly, but she hoped it was that she hadn't eaten anything since at supper the day before and not that she was scared. What she wished is that none of the people that were standing in front of her saw that she was shaking slightly.

Brooke started in a soft voice to Tommy and the girl she didn't know, “Yeh usually don’t get this from me but I'm truly sorry, and Justin,” She paused, “Justin, he just like to defend those who are close to him like yourself and I get it. Also most people are supportive of their house, and I get that too. But I'll go to the Ravenclaw section, and Justin doesn't mean that stuff. Well I at least bloody hope he didn't mean the rude stuff.”

And Brooke left it at that and left. She didn't want anyone hurt because she knew if Justin kept on speaking, the girl would of fought her friend. Or Justin would of started fighting. She knew she was being supportive of her friend and also wasn't being rude or mean. At least Brooke hoped the girl or Tommy didn't take it the wrong way.

She sat down by Justin and said, “Yeh didn’t have to do that. Now she's mad and I think yeh just lost Tommy as a friend, ” Brooke’s voice was soft once more, and she was watching the race, waiting for Justin’s reply.

Justin noticed Brooke fidgeting on the side. Of course. It's pretty embarrassing for many people when a lot of people are looking at them. The black-haired boy did cause a bit of a commotion to gain some crowd attention. As the two walked to the Ravenclaw section, Justin walked between the crowd and Brooke so that his taller body could block her from the crowd. If eyes were darting their direction he would make sure the eyes would fall on him, and not Brooke, by whistling loudly as he walked.

They found their new seats and sat down. Brooke began talking about what just happened earlier.

Justin yawned. "If Tommy can't trust me to tell me the truth, then I don't have to waste my time with him. I could've helped him lie better, I could've rigged the brooms, hell I could have said that he predicted wrong because I was annoying him so much. Softie values his social reputation more than the people that actually care about him. It is what it is. I'm sure someone out there's a better fit."

Justin put his arms behind his head. "As a goodbye, I at least wanted him to stand up for himself once. I pushed his buttons, and look. Someone else had to step in for him. When's that kid ever going to grow a backbone in this world?"

The nonchalant face then quickly disappeared from the boy. Justin glared at the broom race with an eerily calm look. "Don't apologize to them, Brookie. You did nothing wrong. Yeah, I'm an asshole, but you were just asking a question. Next time Pasta Fork talks to you that way, I'm dunking her in pasta water. Al dente."

The relaxed face returned to Justin face. He calmly watched the race. He then spoke in a voice that was gentle and soft. "Sorry about that back there though. I lost cool. Probably didn't make things better for you back there. I don't regret saying what I said though. I regret how I said it and when I said it."

The situation around Tommy escalated further than he expected. He had just come to cheer on his house and friend June Selwyn but somehow a lot of drama occurred. Tommy thought back to his first interaction with @Justin Shin, recalling that he had also been at odds with a Slytherin then. Maybe Justin just hated people in house Slytherin.

Tommy turned his attention to his housemate. He was grateful for her intervention. "Thank you for your help with that situation. It escalated in ways I did not anticipate. I am sure you're already aware but I'm Tommy Patterson, a first year in Slytherin. I also wouldn't pay too much attention to Justin. He seems to have a bit of main-character syndrome. I honestly feel bad for him and would normally give his attention but er well... The truth is I told our captain @June Selwyn I had a vision about Slytherin ending their losing streak this race and that if she did then she'd train me to be a chaser in quidditch, so I came to cheer on the team"

The race so far seemed neck-in-neck and Tommy couldn't really tell who would win, but it was obvious the stress was getting to him. He normally isn't one to be moody or mean to others. Tommy actually typically hated conflict of any sort and would go to great lengths to avoid it.

Tommy continued, trying to defuse the situation. "Maybe the other girl was having a bad day as well. I could hardly understand her, but I had never really spoken to her before. But uh... Who are you and uh... what do you do for ... fun?" Tommy could not hide is awkwardness but he wanted to try his best to get to know the girl Justin had claimed to be his friend even though he had never spoken to them. They seemed intimidating but that could be more of a good thing than a bad thing if Tommy could somehow manage to get and stay on their good side.

The sheer excitement of seeing other students racing by on their brooms seemed to excite Aleksandra. The ashen blonde haired girl stood excitedly which was a rare scene for the young first year her steely gray eyes lit up like a child in a candy shop.

Just watching the racers zip by seemed to enlighten the young girl. As if nothing could break her train of thought watching the game.

A commotion nearby caught their girls ears.

Aleksandra glanced sideways, noticing a familiar ginger haired girl from the other day. Only reason the platinum haired girl recognized or even remembered the girl was because of the young girls cat. Even though names slip through Aleksandras mind.

Sighing quietly Aleksandra sauntered towards the commotion.

Why? Maybe because the ruckus was a tad annoying. Secondly Aleksandra could tell that the commotion looked rather hopeless.

Even though Aleksandra had no idea what was going on the young girl decided to intervene after all this rowdy group was disturbing the peace of this beautiful sport which was a disgrace especially to the houses each of these students were in.

Moving closer Aleksandra stood beside the ginger haired girl a dark glare on the young girl's fair complexion. Her gray eyes staring daggers at the other first years.

By the lot in front of her Aleksanda could tell they were nothing but trouble.

An annoyed sigh escaped Aleksandras lips as the young girl glanced towards the other first years.

The young girl's gray eyes were squinted dangerously in a dagger-like stare, her gray eyes radiating annoyance as if a storm was brewing.

“What is going on over here? You lot do realize that this a place to spectacle not to socialize?”

Aleksandra hissed softly her Scottish accent wafting around the group.

Aleksandra glanced at the ginger haired girl beside her. Waving her right hand in dismissal.

“Care to enlighten me of what this ruckus is about?

Aleksandra spoke airily towards the ginger haired Slytherin girl. As if dismissing the other first years that seemed to be the root of the gingered haired girls outburst.

Though Aleksandra could care less what the main issue was, but this lot was disturbing the peace of the sport that was happening in front of them and unfortunately Aleksandra felt the urge to intervene.

Tommy felt daggers pierce his body. He recognized the feeling of this glare before even turning around. He knew the fierce platinum blonde he would see when he did finally turn around. Clearly everything Tommy was doing to try to de-escalate the situation was not working.

First, he made such a stupid, foolish, idiotic prediction. Next two Ravenclaw came over and even after telling them his plight of worries they began to harass him. THEN he had to be saved by a housemate he had never met. Now the girl he met on the grounds was basically shoving in his face that due to all these actions he was distracting his fellow house mates from enjoying the game. The blame was entirely on Tommy and the only thing connecting all these events was HIM.

Tommy was never much of an emotional boy, but the day was getting the best of him. How could it get any worse? Everything he did to try to make it better just kept making it worse and worse. Despite the sunny, warm, and pleasant weather. Tommy defeated said "Oh great and now it's raining". He couldn't even muster the energy to come up with a convincing lie.

Tears rolled down his face as he looked at the day as one failure after another. Surely this was a bad omen for Slytherin. He began to imagine how mad his mentor June would be with him if/when they lost after he told her the losing streak would end. He thought of how everything he worked for to try to garner his a reputation and standing in Slytherin was crumbling around him. He thought of how the one thing he disliked most in the world, conflict, was all he brought around him today.

Tommy got up from his seat without another word and walked to a section with the least amount of students that he could find to sit down alone to watch the remainder of the game. He may have been a burden for the start of the game, but he would do his best to not cause any more chaos in the remainder. He was filled with shame, having let down his house, the other spectators, and, in his mind, the players themselves. At this moment Tommy didn't know what was worse, living at home and being bullied by every kid in his neighbourhood or the events that were unfolding today.

From all the way in the Ravenclaw section, Justin noticed the usually energetic Tommy seeming a little different.

He's a liar but he's usually a bright little liar, even if he is a little delusional. Justin thought to himself. It was as if the Slytherin boy became the emotion sadness itself. Perhaps Justin was a little too blunt with the boy? The Unfiltered Ravenclaw's eyes kept going over Tommy's direction.

Brooke's words echoed in Justin's mind.
"I think yeh just lost Tommy as a friend."
Fuck Tommy. I don't give a damn, Justin thought to himself.
"I think yeh just lost Tommy as a friend."
Justin subtly side-eyed Brooke who was watching the game. "Stupid inner-monologue Brooke repeating things in my head," Justin whispered to himself.

Justin pretended like he was getting up and made a completely unbelievable excuse. "Wow. The bathroom sounds so nice now." He tapped Brooke on the shoulder. "I'll be right back."

The boy subtly got up from his seat making his way to the 'bathroom.' In reality he was checking up on Tommy from a distance.

"Is... is he crying?" Justin said out loud. He could barely make out what Tommy was saying.
"Oh great and now it's raining"
Tommy then quietly walked over to a less populated area of the students section.

"Wimp," Justin muttered to himself. He sighed.

Justin slowly dragged his feet toward Tommy. Without looking at the Slytherin boy he tossed him a handkerchief from his robe and onto Tommy's lap. His face still facing elsewhere, Justin began talking to the self-proclaimed seer. "I was an asshole back there. My bad. That's no way to talk to someone I care about."

Justin then began walking back to the Ravenclaw section back to his seat. He stopped to turn around to say one last thing to Tommy. "Slytherin still has a chance. I don't mind too much if Ravenclaw loses."

Justin walked back to his seat next to Brooke, which turned out to be quite a bit of a walk.

Dori didn't necessarily have anyone to cheer for on either team, but it felt like their duty to come watch as a member of the Hufflepuff team. There was a part of them that did wish for Slytherin to try and end their losing streak. So perhaps that was the team they would root for. Often they would only spend time watching Gryffindor in Quidditch, where their boyfriend was the seeker. The best seeker, but would never say that in front of any Hufflepuff. Dori did arrive quite late to the match, and was searching through the stands for friends to sit with and through walking through the various houses' seating areas, they spotted their favorite first year: Tommy Patterson. "Tommy!" They waved from the bottom of the stands before clambering up to him. "Tommy, hi! Oh-" The mirth in their voice disappeared as the tears became apparent on his face.

"Are you ok? What happened?" They pulled their wand out of the pocket they had sewn on their pants. "Give me a name, I'll make them regret it." This was a perfect first year, who could have possibly insulted him to this degree? This first year that had pledged himself to Dori, for whatever reason, Dori still didn't understand. "But, more seriously- are you ok?" They looked around to see if there was someone scampering away or watching from the side.
