Idea 1: Need a backstabber in your life? Want someone to take advantage of your meek and quiet character? Thinking about breaking the rules but your character probably wouldn't do it on their own without coercion? Enter Jessamine! She's not going to be mean up front, but she's definitely snide and ill-natured. Giving backhanded compliments and thriving when people get angry at her is what she does best.
Idea 2: The Hemlocks are a pure-blood family that I imagine have many connections with other pure-blood families. Perhaps your character is familiar with the name or knows Jessamine personally from before Hogwarts. And maybe you've heard the rumors that she's an illegitimate child, or you're blissfully unaware and just wanting to keep up with your family's connections.
Idea 3: Jessamine's birthday happened during the Christmas holidays, but she decided to stay at Hogwarts. If your character was here during that time, maybe they find her being oddly sentimental instead of the menace they already know her to be from classes.
Idea 4: Good ol' Hogwarts Express thread taking place on Sept 1st, 2023.

Your RPG storyline idea : I’d like to have a relationship for my iNPC Phelan Emile. He can be kinda rude to people when he first meets them, so your character would have to not care too much about that, or just be really determined to make a friend. It’ll take a while for Phelan to warm up to your character, but he’ll open up eventually. I guess I’d like a boy character, please.
Additional info : My iNCP application isn’t approved yet, so we wouldn’t be able to start an RP right away.
