│ Noa-Elise is a generally friendly and empathic child. She shines even more in social settings as she grew up in a household where her mother would invite her fellow socialite friends for afternoon tea parties (and their kids where she met her first friends other than Mitzy the house-elf) and would accompany her parents to charity balls and ministry parties. This led her to study how other people would act and talk to each other, something that she will also use during a gathering.
Like her parents, Noa-Elise supports the belief that magic is for everyone despite their blood status, much to the shame and anger of her maternal family's side, the Von Thessics, who still held on to the ancient philosophy that blood purity is the only way to ensure the magic within the family bloodline. Her curiosity knows no bounds, to the point that she found out about being a Parseltongue because she heard a voice in the gardens.
Eager to please and excited to meet new people, she is happy to gain new friends but has a deep need to keep them happy and may get too passionate if she has a goal in mind which can come off as overbearing or pushy to some. Her compassionate nature can also backfire as it may cloud her judgment and her stubbornness bourns a sense of vindictive streak against people whom he feels have wronged her loved ones.

'Ambition is not always Evil"
Noa-Elise Forsythe 𓆗 1st Year 𓆗 Slytherin

∞The First Instance of Magic∞
ReducioSix-year-old Noa-Elise frowned as she stared at the rain clouds. It was supposed to be a sunny day with a few puffs of clouds to paint a pretty picture of the sky. She had been waiting all week for this day, a rare proper day off when her parents were home with no parties to plan, meetings to attend, or matters that needed to be attended to. They can go to the park and have a lovely picnic and maybe even coax Mitzy to sneak her an extra helping of jam roly-poly. But then rain had to come and, well, rain on her parade and that won't do!
She puffed her cheeks with displeasure and crossed her arms, a deep frown marring her features. Her mother warned her that scowling would be permanent if she did it frequently and that thought smoothened the expression for a moment before she ran to the library. Noa-Elise was well-read, a line of tutors her parents had hired made sure of that, so she knew that there were spell books with funny words that could surely make the rain go away. She had seen father and mother use their sticks and say those funny words before and their magic will fix everything. Although she doesn't have her stick yet ('Wand' Father told her) she is certain she can at least say the words, she was a "well-educated young lady", said Mrs. Whittlemore. Whatever that means. Browsing through the thick volumes of books and loose leaflets that featured a colourful advertisement of the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, she finally decided to skim through a dozen of materials but all of them were just so boring.
The sound of thunder rumbled outside and it just magnified her already dour mood and with a jolt of frustration and anger, she slapped her hands on the table and gave a loud shout. There was a loud 'POP!' and without warning, the library windows opened as a gale of wind came out of nowhere, causing the chandelier to sway haphazardly above the scared girl. Not knowing what to do, Noa-Elise curled up into a frightened ball underneath the table where her parents and Mitzy would find her. It wasn't until Noa-Elise told them what transpired that her parents looked at each other with understanding and wide smiles on their faces.
"It's no trouble, my love" Mother crooned as she carded a gentle hand on her daughter's long brown hair that cascaded on her back, "You have just experienced your first accidental magic. Soon, you will learn to be a proper witch."
A Secret To Keep (Parselmouth)
ReducioNoa-Elise had always been fascinated with snakes. Though as a pureblood, there was an unspoken rule about not vocally proclaiming your love for something that may be perceived as dark by the majority. While it's true that snakes and other serpentine creatures alike were associated with evil wixen, she can't help but see the beauty of them and she had a special secret that she hadn't told her parents yet, she could understand and talk to them. It was a queer thing that she learned she had back when she was eight.
It started small, some disjointed words with a noticeable lisp that she would hear by her mother's beloved garden where she would spy something slither by the grass. Then the next day, the birds that usually flock to the bird bath and the toads near the pond have gone, or they will just stay for a few minutes for a few sips of water before fleeing the area. Wanting to get to the bottom of this mystery, Noa-Elise waited for three hours, crouching near the hedge with her knees burning from exhaustion when she saw the cause of all this; a snake.
It was long with a dark green body and a ring of yellow band around its head (Do snakes have necks? she wondered to herself) But when she approached it as slowly as she could, she gasped as the creature began to writhe and then fell limp. Filled with concern, she rushed to the snake and grabbed a stick to cautiously poke at it, not trusting that the little fellow might strike at her out of panic.
'Leave alone' a reedy voice spat out.
Noa-Elise stared at the crumpled heap and looked around, searching for any signs that someone was playing a trick on her. Turning her attention to the limp snake again, she poked the blunt end of the stick on its exposed underbelly and heard a hissing voice again.
'Musssst stay ssstill. Mussst sssurvive'
It was then she heard it, an unmistakable tone of determination she never thought she would hear from a snake. It pulled at her heartstrings so much that without thinking, she threw away the stick and carefully cupped the creature into her small hands, careful not to touch its head. she doesn't know what to do, should he say something? Hiss at it like a snake would?
Taking a deep breath, she opened her mouth and began to talk as she normally would, though she could feel her tongue go behind her front teeth; adding more of the hissing sound as the air pushed through-
"Hello little friend. I won't hurt you"
The snake stilled for a moment before lifting its head towards her. Its eyes stared right into hers, forked tongue peeking out to taste the air around it.
'How doesss thisss one underssstand usss?'
"I... I dunno" she confessed, "I just can. Are you alright? You just fell."
The snake curled itself in the middle of her cupped ads, though its head still leveled to her eyes. 'We do it to live. To fool othersss from attacking ussss'
It does make sense, she hummed to herself. She had read that different snakes have their defense mechanism to prevent being eaten by other predators and faking death is quite efficient. She was sorely tempted to keep the snake so she could ask it numerous questions her heart desired. Like how it keeps its eyes wet without eyelids, or if unhinging its jaw can hurt, or what if it does things with its molted skin. But she knows she couldn't. If she were the snake, she wouldn't want to be someone's pet; she'd want to be free.
So she just asked the snake where she could put it back and asked if it would come back again. The snake was silent for a while before telling her it must travel on to warmer places before the 'big cold'. No doubt it's near its migration cycle and the snake would want to keep a move on. With a smile on her face, she wished the snake a fond farewell and went back into the house where Mity was busy cleaning the sitting area.
Climbing up to her bedroom, she stopped for a moment to look at the dozens of photographs of her father's family hanging in the hallways. Some of them were out of their portraits to visit other locations, Great Uncle Hubert was snoring away with a bottle of firewhiskey in hand while her grandfather Niclas sat on his chair and looked at her with fondness.
"Having an uneventful afternoon dear? You're usually playing in the gardens at this time" he assessed, his dark blue eyes that was a mirror image of her own peered with interest.
Noa-Elise giggled and looked around, seeing if someone was hiding behind the corner to hear the secret she was about to share with her granda-
"Grandfather, I can talk to snakes!" she whispered with excitement.
His usually sleepy eyes widened and his entire body stiffened, "A snakeyou say? Are you quite sure?"
She nodded, "Yes. I found it wandering through Mother's garden and said it was just passing through so it could prepare for winter. I didn't think I could talk to animals before- oh, does that mean Father can speak to snakes as well? Maybe I can ask him to get a pet for me-"
"Erm, dear heart, I don't think you should tell anyone of your gift" he interrupted.
Noa-Elise's smile faded from her lips, browns knitted as she considered his words, "Why not Grandfather? Did I do something bad?"
Fear crept to her chest, she didn't want to get into trouble, she just wanted to know what she was hearing in the gardens, she didn't mean to trouble the snake! The panic that she was feeling must've been so obvious as her grandfather gave a gentle shushing noise,
"Now now, it's alright little dear. You haven't done anything wrong. It's just... people don't appreciate that gift- talking to snakes I mean."
"Why not?"
The old man took a deep breath and leaned on the overstuffed chair he was sitting on, a replica of his old chair that's now in Donegal with Cousin Clare, "You see, back in my days, the Dark Lord was known to have that kind of ability. They said people who have that ability are practicing dark magic and were evil"
A gasp exited her lips "But-but I'm not evil! I just wanted to talk to it!"
"I know love, I know" Niclas replied in a patient voice "You're not a bad person, nor does the gift automatically make a person be one. I'm just afraid that if they find out that you have it, they might treat you differently. I would like to ask if you could keep it a secret for the meantime, hmm?"
The child bit her lip, she had never kept a secret from her parent before. Especially if it's as big as this one; but Grandfather said that others might treat her differently if she told. And she doesn't want to lose her friends just because she can talk to snakes. Making her decision, she sadly nodded to the portrait, shifting her weight from one foot to the other.
"I understand Grandfather" she muttered, "I won't do it again"
Niclas studied her for a moment before beckoning her closer to his portrait and gave a small grin, making the crow lines around his eyes more prominent, "Well I didn't say you should stop talking to those little fellows now did I? You can have a chat with them once in a while, snakes can get lonely too y'know?"
Upon realizing his words, a huge grin broke into her face before she enthusiastically nodded and ran to her room. Grabbing her quill and inkpot, she dived under her bed to retrieve her journal which had a lock that was charmed to keep prying eyes away. There, she wrote the words-
"Dear Journal,
I can speak to snakes! Grandfather Niclas said that other witches and wizards see it as an evil thing but I don't think it's that bad. Snakes are so beautiful and ame amazing and very cool. I met one at the garden earlier today but I forgot to ask its name and where it came from. I hope I can meet with them again"

FAMILY HISTORY
Von Thessic Family Tree
Reducio

Lachlan Forsythe
BACKGROUND
ReducioSteadfast and a man who hates injustice, most people who knew Lachlan in his childhood years thought that the energetic boy was a shoo-in for the Gryffindor house... until the Sorting Hat announced "HUFFLEPUFF!" and he happily integrated into the yellow and black clad table. He was a popular lad in his youth, both in and out of his house, the hardworking bloke who was always happy to lend a hand with a smile. However, his helpfulness had backfired at times; such as in fifth year when he thought he was helping a couple of fourth-year Gryffindors with homework, only to find out he just helped them execute a prank on the Charms professor, earning him his first and only detention.
He grew up with a large extended family and has a close relationship with his older sister Dierdre and their da, Niclas Forsythe. He stayed with them in their family home in Donegal during his early years as a Ministry worker before he met and fell in love with the young socialite, Elizabeth Von Thessic at a charity gala.
During their courtship, he had the misfortune of meeting her parents and he never thought that someone as loving and open-hearted as his future wife came from a family that upheld disgusting beliefs. And in turn, the twenty-five-year-old legislator was the symbol of what the Von Thessics detested; so open to Muggle-borns, squibs, and championing equal rights to lowly beasts and he easily caught the young woman of twenty-two's attention.
Upon realizing that Elizabeth is being forced to follow her mother's footsteps, he boldly asks her to elope with him so she can finally break away from her family's suffocating hold on her life. The memory of her smiling up to him, cheeks blooming in their lovely pink shade as she said 'Yes' was the one he used to conjure his Patronus until the birth of their child.
As a wizard with firm principles, he had agreed to let Mitzy, Elizabeth's house-elf accompany them with the terms that she must wear real clothes and accept wages from them. To be employed instead of being enslaved. At first, the elf gave a squeak of indignation, lecturing him that it was a house elf's highest honor to serve their masters and to demand such things is akin to spitting on their reason to exist.
Mitzy finally agreed when Elizabeth begged to accept his deal; telling the wailing elf that she couldn't bear to part with her.
Now, he's working hard at bringing up bills to the ever-progressing wizarding world so not only their beloved Noa-Elise can live in a better future, but for everyone else.
Elizabeth Reinhilde Forsythe
BACKGROUND
ReducioThe only child of Hildebrand and Agnes Von Thessic, whose pure-blood ancestries both originally hailed from Germany, was the apple that fell from the farthest branch of the tree and and kept rolling further away when it broke off. Though the Von Thessics didn't have the prestige of the Sacred Twenty-Eight of Britain, they followed the archaic belief of blood purity's importance and frowned upon Muggle-borns and squibs alike; seeing them as inferior and tainted.
While being exposed to such an elitist lifestyle for most of her life, young Elizabeth had fostered loving friendships with pureblood, mixed, and muggle-born classmates alike during her time at Hogwarts as a Ravenclaw student. This obvious rebellion against her parents' beliefs had strained their already fragile relationship and tried to steer their willful heiress' eyes with suitable pureblood wizards as they hosted extravagant parties and galas in their mansion in Norwich but the young witch instead tried to convert them into a more inclusive way of thinking, much to her parents' shame.
The straw that broke the camel's back was when Elizabeth happily introduced her suitor, Lachlan Forsythe to them. They had hoped against all hopes that the stubborn Elizabeth would cease her rebellious phase, accept her place in the hierarchy, and uphold the family's status by marrying a decent man of ostentatious pedigree and producing pureblood children.
Instead, Elizabeth slipped into the night with a single suitcase that held only her most treasured items with the infuriatingly loyal house-elf, Mitzy, whom they had erroneously gifted to her as the girl's nanny (Agnes Von Thessic won't be degraded as to change a soiled nappy nor attend to a simpering toddler after all).
Free to be herself and be with her supportive and loving Lachlan, Elizabeth went on to be a talented Obliviator, joining the Obliviator Headquarters in the Ministry of Magic and volunteering as a part-time Healer at St. Mungo's. It was during their second wedding anniversary when the couple received the wonderful news that they would be having a child of their own.
