The Belizean smiled shyly at this, muttering a slightly uncertain "thank you" and could not help but wonder if the Ilvermony pupil was sincere with her words or if it was just a standard thing to say to one's date. Sherlock sincerely thought that Rose was a nice person, but he also had heard "you look wonderful tonight" and other similar expressions in practically every dating scene in Muggle films that he begun to think that it may be the etiquette to start one's date night.
She asked him if she would look better without a tiara, to which the blond answered quickly and honestly, "I think so. With it, you might look like a queen but without it, you look like my friend. I mean... ah... please just forget it! Just... yes, you look better without one." He did not want to add how he felt like having a lower status than her if he kept seeing her with the jewellery piece on top of her head.
After that, she offered him the choice to eat or to explore. Sherlock felt fine with either, but after giving some thoughts on the matter, he told her that if it was all right with her, he would choose to eat. If there was a good life lesson he learnt from his childhood, it was to eat one's lunch or dinner before diving into other activities. "I hope they have sandwiches or other carb," he said at the end of stating his preference.
Just then, there were groans and screams from behind them. Sherlock took a quick look and noticed a boy with honey-coloured curls laying down on the grounds. He did not look hurt, and anyway from the way he made sounds, it seemed that he was just faking the pain. An attention seeker, Sherlock guessed, the type of person who always made him feel uncomfortable.
Hoping to get away from the kid as soon as possible, the Castelobruxo student turned his attention back to Rose and asked, "Is it okay with you if we eat now?" Locking his dark brown eyes with hers, he wondered if she would offer him her hand like how those teens did in rom-coms.

Kaya smiled sincerely looking at Sherlock. She heard him saying that without tiara she'll be appearing much better, and that was totally fine with her. Kaya took off the tiara and put in in her bag, not bothering with checking her hairstyle. It would still be nice as it was, so there was no need in it. Honestly, I think so too. I like it much better without tiara. Thank you for being honest. She chuckled and gave Sherlock appreciative look. Kaya didn't mind to start with eating, but she got interested on this little yet new information about Sherlock. Do you have favorite type of sandwiches? She was fascinated to know more and today she was prepared for any way their evening will go. However, there was something else that caught her attention. What kind of carbs do you like? Just after that she heard some boy behind them and looked in his direction. One second was enough and she returned her attention to Sherlock. Kaya preferred to not think about another guy. This evening was going to be amazing and so she'll be enjoying it with Sherlock. Sure, let's get going to those tables. Maybe we could find something we like. She looked in his eyes and wondered if she should offer him her hand. Deciding to leave it up to him, Kaya just left her hand in a way, that was indicating that she was fine with both: holding hands now, should he wish to do it, or not holding them at this moment. |

Mentioning:Beatrice had spend more time getting ready then she had intended to but now that she took one last look into the mirror of the girls bathroom, she felt prepared and ready. These balls always had some fun to offer and if not fun, then chaos. Adelaide would be staying in tonight, as Beatrice had no intention of getting her beautiful kitten involved with the threats that all students held within themselves, which was mostly carelessness and not looking where they walked. Tonight Beatrice was wearing a beautiful gown that was for once not as extravagant as the ones her mother usually chose for her. Instead, it was a beautiful A-line dress with gold and blue-ish undertones beneath white fabric. Her hair fell loosely over her shoulders, half was held up in a knot with gold hair clips. The only jewelery she was wearing consisted of a gold necklace and to finish off the look and not grow cold once the sun went down, Beatrice was wearing a light cloak in white.
Opening the door, she finally stepped out to make her way to the ball. Tonight Beatrice would meet up with Fang Hui-Ying. She was a Gryffindor girl who Beatrice had met at the Spring ball and since encountered a couple times. The last time was when they decided that they would come here together. Originally Beatrice hadn't even planned on coming to the ball at all but now that Ying was her friendly-date, she was positive that this evening was actually going to be quite fun. You could possibly even go as far and say that Beatrice was looking forward to this event and enjoying it with a friend. Exactly for that reason, she picked up her dress a little and started walking a bit faster. The white heels on her feet made a clicking sound on the stone floor as she made her way through Hogwarts's halls before finally exiting the castle and making her way to the lake.
Even from further away she could see the endless amount of candles and hear the chatter and music. The wind caught in her hair and gently blew it out of her face as she got closer. Her eyes wandered over the venue and the people. There was food, a table to make and decorate your own lanterns and of course space for couples to dance. Everything was set up far enough from the lake so no one would tumble in while dancing a bit to wildly or running away from a failed date. So far, she could not see Ying just yet so Beatrice decided to stand back and wait a while, to let her friend find her. She took the time to let her gaze meet a couple people. There were students from other schools, as always, but also Students that Beatrice recognized to be of Hogwarts. Some people she knew but a large amount was people she had never seen before or could not recall ever interacting with. Continuing to watch, Beatrice considered trying to find Ying herself and then did exactly that, walking into the crowd.

Others: BoldJust as Astra was about to say, "We'll be learning together, I guess" to Mahlioz, some boy thrust his drink at her. She flinched back, almost running into Renelle, dropping her fork onto the table as her hands came up in a protective gesture. But she wasn't quick enough, as the liquid hit her in the stomach.
She looked up with an incredulous look on her face. "What the hell?" she demanded, her hands coming away from her face and into a wide gesture of exasperation. Luckily, the dark color of her dress hid the liquid, but that stuff definitely wasn't water and she had a feeling it would become a real hassle to clean once it dried.
"It doesn't matter if that jerkwad dared you, you can say no!" Astra exclaimed. She stood straighter, an idea coming to mind. "Hey, Renelle, do you wanna play truth or dare?"
Renelle smiled. "Why of course, Astra. Mind if I ask first?" she said. Astra nodded. Renelle understood the assignment perfectly. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to kick this guy."
Astra shrugged and gave the boy a mock apologetic look before saying "A dare's a dare". The redhead slipped into a fighting stance almost instantly, her leg flying out and aiming for the boy's stomach, around the bladder. If she made it, it would hurt like the dickens for a good while, and there was even the chance that his bladder would be full, causing double humiliation.
Astra would later look back on this moment with embarrassed laughter, but in this moment the girl was slighted and angry. She wanted to hit him where it would hurt for a little longer than, say, a crotch or shin kick.Moderated action:

☆★ FALL BALL ★☆Topaz whirled around in front of the mirror, admiring her dress. It was the most beautiful thing ever and she couldn't wait to show it to Ophelia. Walking down the palace stairs, she thought about the Fall Ball. It was going to be her first big wizard event and she couldn't wait! She said go herself " I think this is the best i've ever looked before!
Miss Evelynn November- her mother designed the dress she stiched it gently by hand. Her mother knew how to stich when she was younger and she was an expert. It took a while where to the point Topaz got worried if she would have a dress or not but she did. In the end though she looked so amazing she knew everybody would compliment her outfit.
She wore a Emarld green, soft velvet dress, some diamoand earrings paired with a diamoand necklace, a silver bangle, and some dark green high heels. Topaz saw everyone wearing beafiful dresses and jewelery. She was ready to go!
But Ophelia was not super close with Topaz they met before in Flourish and Blotts when they were buying school supplies. They became friends. Still though Topaz showed a positive additude. Ophelia was a very heartwarming, helping sorta girl. As for both of them they were a bit diffrent. But when both of them heard of the fall ball they exactly knew who to choose.
Since it was her first big Hogwarts event she was a little nervous but that didn't change her excitement! Topaz saw Ophelia as she was walking down the stairs with rich, red, velvet carpet. Ophelia was waiting quietly and patiently at the staircase. Topaz was saying to herself Ophelia looked stunning with her long, beatiful, blue dress, and her luxurious shoes.
Ophelia said "You look great, Topaz." She gestured towards the Great Lake path. "Shall we?"
Topaz said " Why thank you you very much you look stunning too!
"Yes we shall get going" says Topaz.

Maverick turned his head around and saw Lily. She apologised for being late, but truth be told, the part-Veela did not care much about it. On the contrary, he felt rather relieved that she finally showed up, and with a polite attitude as well. Therefore, instead of replying that it was all right, what came out of his mouth was, "You came..." His voice was soft and his tone gentle, there was no anger or maliciousness.
And then, all in such a sudden, he felt tears stinging in his forest green eyes; but whether it was out of relief or something else, he could not figure out right at the moment. "I'm sorry," he finally managed to choke out. "I shouldn't have screamed like that in public, like a child. Should've just told you quietly that I didn't like that. Must have been difficult on you that day." To have all eyes on you because of my immature action.
The second year extended his right hand toward his fellow Gryffindor, waiting for a shake. "Friends again?" he asked.
But even though he was sincere in his apology, Maverick figured in case she turned nasty and refused to forgive him, he would just shrug his shoulders and not following her around begging for one. He apologised sincerely and that was enough from his part.

Lily was shocked by several things. 1. Maverick literally just said so softly that she came, (which kinda was a surprise cause he was rude to her) and 2. he literally has tears in his green eyes. Tears. Which made her want to cry. Lily took a breath, steadying herself as she opened her mouth to say something. Whatever she was about to say went out the window the minute he started to apologize. Lily listened to him, and when he stopped talking and held out his hand, Lily blinked, then blinked again unsure of what to say or even do. Her crush just apologized to her. Right now it didn't matter that she was also crushing on someone else. All it mattered was now and Mav. "Mav-" Lily stopped suddenly and cleared her throat. "Castle-" That just sounded weird on her tongue. She only called enemies by the last name. "-it's okay. I'm not making light of it all, but you apologized and to be honest it was partially my fault too. I should have realized when you first introduced yourself that you wanted to be called Castle. So I'm sorry too." Lily took his hand softly. "And yes lets be friends again."
The smell of pastries was making her mouth water and she looked at Maverick questioningly. "Food, dancing, or boat rides? Or something else?" She asked her hand still in his.

Alyssea did that thing where you smile but... not? Like, she pursed her lips together kind of like the square bracket emoji (the purebloods here would think she was crazy). Anyways, she offered that square smile to Landon and sighed. Hopefully, once they had some time to sit by the lanterns and make some lanterns, they could settle down and chill.

While her original intention was to go find Helena and Madi and bring them along, the crowd grew large and she could barely navigate the place without bumping shoulders. Curse being shorter than average. She couldn't even see them from her height! When Landon suggested they just head over and meet them there, Alyssea nodded. After all, they might be getting along and Alyssea might just be ruining some girl bonding.
"Alright," she said, "Let's head over to the lanterns."
Before they left, Alyssea quickly waved to the two of them and pointed towards the pier. Hopefully one of them would see and get the memo. Once that was done, she picked up her skirt and turned to the boys. "Alright, let's get over there and make some lanterns."
Alyssea smiled with glee. She was looking forward to this, even if she planned it.

Madison looked down slightly at the sea blue eyes staring back at her. She smiled and giggled slightly, "no worries at all Helena, and you can call me Madi if you'd like, makes it easier then saying Madison all the time" she said with another smile.
When Helena said that she preferred to watch Quidditch, Madison smiled and took another sip of her punch. "Fair enough too, I've been watching Quidditch since I was young, with my dad playing and everything, so naturally I wanted to learn too. Maybe you'd like to come and watch a game sometime, it's so much fun once you're part of the crowd" Madison said with a smile.
Whilst sitting with Helena, Madison explained to her about her family, how strict her mother was and the kind of relationship she had with her dad. "I understand how tough it can be growing up in the kind of families we live with. Here at Hogwarts though, you have a whole other family who deeply care for you, will always help you, protect you and never judge you, myself included" Madison said with a giggle and adding a sweet smile.
After she finished her drink, Madison smiled at the young first year and turned to face her."hey Helena, would you like to stay here and keep chatting or, if you'd like, we could go and try to find Landon and Alyssea?" she asked. She knew that they couldn't stay here forever but she was really enjoying chatting with Helena and getting to know her.

As the words penetrated his ear the cogs slowly started turning as Flynn started to process the words that had just been said, he had been entranced by the blue form in front of him that seemed to dazzle with every little sway or movement. "I think the lantern-making looks pretty fun" while she was standing right in front of him the words still felt distant as he started to feel a little light headed from the different feelings that were roaming around his brain. While physically he was able to stand up straight his mind was throwing itself around trying to return cognitive functions back to the user.
As he quickly snapped to the words all seemed to flood into his mind as he finds enough brain capacity to formulate a response to her idea, "that sounds like a great idea" the words coming out in a odd premature boy voice accompanied by a unwanted voice crack in the middle, oh boy that was a little embarrassing through a short clearing of his throat Flynn adjusted his collar before taking a short breath to right himself, "yes that sounds like a splendid idea" with that short quip he turned on his heels and began the short walk to the lantern materials to avoid the consequences of what he had just said.Interacting with @Harmony Hollinsaction: moving to lantern making area
