HISTORY

Rory Hara was born on June 14th, 2012 in Birmingham, England. Tragedy struck, and Rory was left under the care of his biological uncle. Lewis cradled him gently, promising to do his best to raise his sister's son. And so he did. The man who was typically cold was nothing but soft for his fussy child. It was a struggle to manage parenthood and work -- the father often had to rely on the kindness of others to help watch his child. He soon met a man named Alfie, who became Rory's other father. The pair were very different -- Lewis was serious where Alfie was relaxed. The final test, however, was if Rory liked Alfie. Upon meeting, the normally quiet child ran up to him, asking if he could be held. So, the family was complete.
Rory grew up in a loving home, if a little lonely. He was always close to his parents, calling them his best friends. However, his fathers both held full-time jobs - so he was often left to his own imagination. A lot of his time, especially after school, was spent under the supervision of his neighbors. He occupied the hours drawing in a sketchbook or searching in the backyard for "pets." Rory always wanted a pet, but never had one. It was simple - Alfie was allergic to many kinds of animal fur. With one of his fathers being a half-blood and the other a muggle, he experienced a lot of his childhood through the perspective of a muggle. In fact, magic was a rare topic in the household. He went to primary school, but made few friends due to his initially awkward nature. A couple people got past this, and were pleasantly surprised by how friendly and entertaining he could be. He experienced a lot of bullying in primary school for his small stature and meek attitude.
Rory's first instance of magic was at a picnic with his father Lewis at the age of eight. It was rare that Lewis could take a day off, and it was a random surprise. It was a perfect day - beautiful weather, and plenty of desserts to satisfy Rory's sweet tooth. He was so pleased by the event that his gleeful laughter caused a flower to bloom. Rory remembers the incident fondly.

---Face: Youthful, with round cheeks and soft skin prone to flushing.
---Eyes: Light, baby blue. Appears gray in certain settings.
---Nose: A button nose with a slight rosiness.
---Mouth: Defined lips, the ends quirked a bit downwards.
---Hair: Honey blonde with soft waves. Usually messy.
---Frame: Shorter than many of his peers, a bit fragile.

Casual Standing: Straight, with correct posture. Usually fidgeting with hands.
Casual Sitting: Similarly straight posture, but often in strange positions.
Happy: Unable to hide a smile, or keep still.
Sad: Neutral expression, shrinks into himself. Often with tears.
Stressed: Constant movement of some kind, darting eyes.
Annoyed: Furrowed eyebrows, often accompanied by sighs or snorts.

School Robes: Well-maintained robes, although, upon close inspection, they have been treated for many stains. They are well-loved.
School Casual: Clothes with a "soft" aesthetic, leaning on pastels and neutrals. A limited selection, with most pieces thrifted.
Athletic: He doesn't own athletic clothes. Will probably wear an oversized tee shirt and shorts.
Fancy: Blouses with dress pants, or perhaps a matching pastel suit set. Often borrowed from relatives or bought for a specific occasion.
Other: Generally soft style, with some very cutesy and childish pieces. Most of his pajamas have animal designs. His shoes are clean but worn. 		Image posted by the member
