Very late to this discussion, but I'm currently fluent in two languages and learning-but-not-really-learning one. At some point in my life I did try spanish for fun, but I lost interest.

Probably because they like the English accent? Idk, but when people find out I can do accents they always ask me to talk like that. The kid I babysit really likes it when I do my British one haha

i am fluent in english ( im american lol so its my first language)
and im in spanish for school, which technically now its not for school, i have all the credit i need but its handy irl cause i have a few students that speak primarily spanish
