Camp, 2023 Summer Duels, Game 7: Slytherin vs Guests

Klaus Havertz: Ency!
Klaus was starting to wonder if he was duelling against three or if in fact was against five! Seriously, what was happening during that confront? Had his teammates been cursed or something?
His frustration just increased into a starting anger when he saw Maila failing miserably her spell and Reuben attempt to cast a spell while BLINDFOLDED! His glacial eyes darted at Maila with a warning to put herself together and focus. He decided to direct these emerging feelings towards the other team and as soon as his own spell found its target, it was as if some of them had been exorcised from within the young Durmstrang boy. Klaus heard what the dark haired boy had said, a smirk appeared in his features with malice engraved in it, "You can always crawl back into your hole snakes".

5 flipendos again, seems easy enough right, except one blasted back on the caster and the other 4 missed, what on earth were these chances, especially since 2 of the dodged spells were towards Reuben, who was literally blinded both times, it wasn't until the end of the failed onslaught that he removed his blindfold to see that Pea had blown herself up and the rest were just disappointed.

Maila ignored Klaus's warning gaze. As if he had done any better than she had.
This was not going well. While Reuben had successfully removed his blindfold - finally - Maila and Klaus both shot successful spells. However, no matter how successful the spell was, if you missed your target, there was no point in casting successfully. Gritting her teeth, Maila got back into position once again. The hand holding her wand was now more of a fist and she really hoped to finally make some progress in the next round. The only good thing was, that the older Slytherins spell backfired and the other two missed Reuben.

	----- A rustration hit him as he missed his follow up bolt on what looked to be an open target. Things weren’t quite going as he liked, and that would have to be fixed. Avery shot a smile to Duvessa’s encouragement, but before he could reply Niklaus was talking smack from across the way; and that wasn’t to do. His ebony eyes narrowed, and he let the magic within him coalesce, this next hit was sure to be something…

Her wand are straight. Ready to aim for her next opponent. This duel was starting pretty well, but she knew that anything can happen in any dueling battle. She have been through several battles to know the uncertainty of dueling. And as she aim, it all happens so quickly. All 3 shot of light appear from the Slytherin side of the piste. All aimed at the blindfolded boy. But like a worm, the boy manage to evade all of it, and worse, the light that came out of her wand ended up exploding back to her. Just like a punch in her chest, she was pushed back several meters from her own knockback jinx. The blond grunted in annoyance.

Klaus Havertz: Ency!

A smirk crossed Klaus’ face when he realised that at least his words had found its target. By the look gave by those dark eyes he understood he made it right, hit someone underneath their skin felt compensating taking into account all the other actions had missed.

His spell flew inches away from its target, Maila did no better but Reuben had finally gained some senses and removed his blindfold. Klaus glanced at his team mate with approval, he had evaded all those spells flying his way and that was actually impressive, not that he would admit it to him. Instead, Klaus looked mockingly at the pale haired girl, luckily her sense of superiority would give her some extra blow in her pride.

Reuben was kind of getting a hang of being blindfolded, so when two flippendos came soaring his way, he managed to evade both of them. The third one, apparently, had backfired. Moreover, it was sent towards him by the only older person in the group, and it gave him quite some satisfaction when he removed his blindfold to see it get backfired. "Better luck next time", he called out to her. He then looked at Klaus give him a approving look and smiled at him, deciding his next move.

Lots of spells, a few hits, a couple misses, it happens! At least the lightning didn't hit anybody when the cloud appeared and started rumbling above the guests heads. It certainly wasn't a happy little cloud, more of an angry electrified one that definitely had the chance to hit somebody if it felt like it. A zap here, a zap there, it was something to watch out for.

Klaus Havertz: Ency!

Klaus looked up, above his head was now a threatening dark cloud. He gulped waiting for it to start reacting and cast some lightning strikes towards him and his team, but luckily that didn't happened and he breathed in relief before casting a new spell towards his opponents. Unfortunately it had missed the dark-haired boy , "damn it!" Klaus cursed under his breath. It was time to gain focus, the game wasn't lost yet!

This time Maila's spell hit. A smile spread across her lips as she looked at Duvessa, who had been her target. Klaus' spell had missed, but Reuben hit the older student, which Maila sent him a bright smile for. However, before she could get back into position, she too got hit with a spell. Flipendo. She found herself a couple meters away on the ground, gritting her teeth. Shaking off the dirt, Maila stood back up and joined the duel again, getting into position and thinking about her next move.
