It was time for the show to begin at this years summer camp. There had been a bundle of cute games and activities so far - but nothing came close to the thrill and excitement that was about to unfold. Dueling was back! And better than ever with super charged three on three matches. Galton's only bit of heartbreak came from the fact that he would only be a spectator to the chaos, and not an active creator of it.
With fervour in his step Galton took the piste stage and began to look over the days participants. On one side you had a team of duelists he knew could pack a mean punch. Every single one of the Ravens had beaten him in a duel at some point or another - a fact that Galton did not like to think about. The other side had a host of intimidating guests. Galton had not seen a group of such buff looking duelists before, often they tended to be on the slimmer side. And though he didn't know any of them specifically, they seemed capable and surely sported a plethora of foreign tactics that would shake-up the Hogwarts dueling scene.
He would nod his head with satisfaction. This group would put on a show. And it was his job to get this show started. A quick sonorus aimed at his throat would be cast and then he'd begin in a booming voice. "DUELISTS, CAMPERS, ALL ALIKE! Gather round for a ONCE IN A LIFETIME experience. RAVENCLAW will go head to head with some of the boldest and bravest GUESTS from around the world!" He would point over the the Ravenclaw's side. "NOT SO FAR FROM HOME we have our cunning Ravenclaws. Dealla Prince, Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood and Callie Jensen will try their hardest to beat-" He would throw his arm over towards the Guests. "- Manuela Macedo, Dylan Rhys and Felix Kolbeck! OUR Guests from afar. What tricks do they hold?!" With the question ending his introduction his arms would both come up, into an exaggerated shrug. Really sell the question.
"With that we are ready to begin! DUELISTS TAKE YOUR PLACES!" He would give them a moment to adjust before continuing. "I am sure you all know the rules - don't break them. I always know." Galton had never had a cheater before - but it always helped to assert some sense of authority.
With the stage set and the audience gathered there was nothing left but to start the show. This was possibly the greatest moment of any duel. When each duelists stomachs clenched up, the adrenaline started to flow in anticipation. Unsure of exactly when it would all begin. Even Galton's heartbeat increased a bit - and he was running things. It was elating to say the least. His voice would boom out for a final time. "WANDS READY! SET! CAST!"

It had been a while since Aida had duelled with Callie, so today’s reunion would put a smile on the white wix’s face. With long-time friend Dealla also joining up, high spirits sent the aspiring magizoologist bounding onto the duelling piste with a spin. Aida “Chained-to-the-Piste” Ellwood finally had something interesting enough going to pull them away from new merfolk friends, and maybe all those hours of repetitive spell training could finally pay off.
“With you both at my side, we’re sure to win! Let’s go!!”
A desert tawny owl fluttered onto a high perch at the sidelines, an everpresent spectator well known for being Aida's sand-colored shadow.

Dylan was all set for the match to begin. He really loved dueling and thought it was an important to know how to duel. Dylan was dressed in his school robe as he walked on the stage. His eyes scanning the place, sort of getting a feel of the area. He smiled and sent a flying kiss in Egon's direction. He was happy that Egon was going to be watching. He wished that he would win this match. Taking out his wand, he took the stance as he was asked.

The minute Manu heard that she would be going up against Ravenclaw in her duelling tournament again this July, camp did in fact become another summer of dreaming and rage for her. Ravenclaw. She still didn't even know what the House stood for, really, with its blue and bronze and all the eagle motifs. Perhaps they stood for flight, or for kicking arse at duelling. Either way, Manu had dreams of her own now - dreams of revenge for a sorry defeat last year - and she was planning on crushing Ravenclaw into the ground.
When she arrived at her duel on the 22nd of July to find that not only would she be facing Ravenclaw with a pair of other boys from non-Hogwarts schools, very reminiscent of last year's duel indeed, but she would be facing Dealla again.
Nem fodendo. No fucking way.
It had been that dark-haired Ravenclaw's fault that Manu's "foreigner" team hadn't seized victory the previous year - she was the one who had knocked Manu herself out with a particularly nasty Flipendo. (Her duelling partner hadn't helped, but at least he wasn't in Manu's round this year, if he was duelling at all - she had no idea, truly.) Really, it had been Dealla who Manu had spent all year fantasising about beating in a duel, and here she was, getting her second chance.
Aly, Manu's friend from Ravenclaw with whom she'd corresponded through the previous fall semester, had mentioned Dealla a few times. She called her Dee, and apparently the pair of girls were the closest of friends. Dealla had had a hard year, according to Aly.
But that wouldn't stop Manu from kicking arse and taking names in this duel.
She readied her wand as she entered the duel, giving a solemn, terse nod to each of her teammates. "Come on, boys," the lone Castelobruxo duellist snapped, taking her stance. "It is time to win."

Summer Duels, Game 3: Ravenclaw vs Guests
Most people would've spent their summer vacation on a beach someplace sunny. Sipping various beverages and generally doing very little of anything. Unfortunately Callie was not most people and instead she found herself brimming with excitement at the prospect of another summer duel. Some might've branded her obsession with duelling as childish but she didn't care. It was fun and at the end of the day thats all that really mattered. Wasn't that what life was all about?
As she stepped up onto the stage Callie rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet as she always did. Forever restless and forever struggling to pay attention, it was a state anyone who knew the girl would be familar with. It was a wonder her grades were so high truth be told. "Ah! Look at you being sappy and giving the dramatic anime openings!" Callie chimed to Aida's comment about being sure to win. "I never had you pegged as the dramatic type, Aida." She beamed as she fished her wand out from the depths of her pockets, more than ready to start.

Bouncing on her feet, Dee flashed a quick grin at Galton's antics, sketching a mock curtsy as her name was announced. This should be a walk in the park. Dee hadn't lost a duel in... had it been two years? Not quite, but nearly. She wasn't about to break her streak, either.
Additionally, she knew both her partners, and at least one of her opponents. Manu got a cheeky wave and a wink. "Welcome to Scotland!" she called to Aly's friend. "And better luck this year!" Her smile widened just a touch. "You'll need it."
Aida and Callie's words drew a laugh, and she grinned at her white-haired friend, confident as ever. The two had never shared the stage before, but she knew very well that Aida could hold their own in a duel. "Aida's not dramatic, just sincere, eh? Besides, they're not wrong. This'll be easy."

Another school year had flown by and here he was standing at Hogwarts (or at least near it) for his yearly duel with the school. Last year... Well, actually, the last two years, the duel had ended when Felix basically had his ass burnt to a crisp. He expected nothing less of this year. Hopefully he'd be able to stand on his feet longer.
Dylan was at least a familiar face. The other one, the curly haired chick, seemed at least tough. Felix could respect that.

There was a special feeling to the first few seconds of a duel. When the figurative whistle had been blown and spells began to take shape. A brief silence as each duelist filled their lungs with the air that would be transmuted into raw power. Then incantations filling the air which had not yet been spoiled by magic. It was beautiful.
A beauty that hopefully everyone gathered here today would appreciate. Ravenclaw was surely able to appreciate it, as they would present the piste with a dazzling display of magic. Each of their casts would be incredibly proficient, with Dealla and Callie's approaching perfection. The Guests would not be without their own beauty though, Felix would make sure of that. An eloquent incantation would ring out from his lips and conjure up certain fury.
As spells began to fly it - as was so often the trend - immediately became apparent who was able to split spells. Dealla and Callie's impressive incantations would turn into double magic. Dealla's starting to creep in from the groud, and Callie's cutting though it. A double dose of Ventus would shoot forward strait into the Durmstrang student, Dylan. But the success of the first would come at a cost. The second gust of wind would head wildly off towards Aida and dissipate - missing it's mark. It was not over for Dylan though. Aida had a bundle of flames locked on the poor boy. Try as he might, there was no escape. He would be wrapped in wind and flames; a greeting gift from the birds.
But the Guests were not without their own presents. Manu and Felix both packed a Petrificus Totalus for Dealla and Aida. Leaving your opponents paralyzed, and singling out the sole survivor was a wicked move. Like the strategy, Dealla and Aida had some wicked moved up their sleeves too - a side step here, and a twirl there left them unscathed. The same would not be said for Callie. For all the abuse he had taken, Dylan was able to get his own in. His Flipendo would crash into the bird with a thud loud enough for those in the stands to hear.
The Ravens had taken to the sky, and the Guests made themselves comfortable. The birds had gotten some pecks in, but they also lost a feather or two. As the crowds initial cheers began, and the duelists took a breath, the fog rolled in. Thick, milky white covering the Guests and Aida. A welcoming gift just from Dealla. Galton would describe it was a warm safe place, but to many it was a cold and trecherous nightmare. What would it be for this lot?!

After the horror of near perpetual petrification last match, claustrophobic Aida was keen on not getting stun-locked again. Dodging to the side with a huff, the wix threw back a wave of white hair.
“You’ll have to do better than that.”
An owl at the corner of the room made a satisfied clack of her beak when Aida’s fire-making charm struck true against Dylan. Although the boy probably wouldn't realize it, the desert owl Scheherazade actually liked his affectionate vibe and was enjoying watching him in particular. Still, would beast master Aida realize that Dylan had a new feathered admirer?

Summer Duels, Game 3: Ravenclaw vs Guests
Dylan had cast the Knockback spell and had hit Callie as he had intended to. He was sort of not expecting to be hit by spells. Not only was hit twice by Ventus spell he was also hit with the Fire making spell. Dylan was engulfed with the wind making spell and the fire making spell with no way to escape or get away from. He was not gonna give up hope and keep fighting. This was just the start of the duel. They had many rounds of it, there was a chance that they could get an upper hand on the Ravenclaws and maybe win the match.
