Born on July 25, 2011, Kanae Suzuki was the second of her many siblings. She has a younger twin brother named Kazumi and two younger siblings who are also twins named Ryoka and Haruto. She also has an older brother, Hikaru who has an 11 year age gap with her and her twin brother. Her mother and father, Kyoko Suzuki (nee Sato), and Shota Suzuki. Shota Suzuki is the uncle of Ara Villa and her siblings and the brother of Mitsuki Villa.
Her side of the family came from the brother Kanekoβs bloodline.
Kanae's mother was a muggle as her dad was a pure blood, making her a half-blood. Kyoko only found out when her eldest two children got invites to Mahotoukoro's day program when they were 7.
Her first instance of magic went like this: It was a nice Christmas morning, Kanae was 5 or so. Her dad's side of the family was over at their manor to celebrate. Kanae and her cousins were opening gifts. "Hahaha! I can open these presents faster than you!" her cousin named Edmund said to his sister that was Kanae's age. "Nope I have already opened 3 while you're on your 2nd one," his sister named Ara said. Kanae chuckled at her cousins bicker a bit. Everyone was having a good time until Kazumi pushed over the Christmas tree! The tree was about to fall on Kanae until it just stopped and was put back in its original position.
They live in Osaka, Japan in an estate given to them by their family members. They also have a wealthy background because of the Suzukis. Since Kanae is a Half-blood she gets both worlds. She often exchanges letters with her cousins about the muggle world too. The manor was at the end of a middle-high class neighbourhood in Osaka. It was mainly filled with muggles.
January 29, 2025 was a rough day. Chinese New Year. Her twin brother dies being pushed off the balcony of her familyβs manor by an assassin who targets her entire family.
