Effect: Taizu takes 170 damage
The Hufflepuffs were clearly taking advantage of Taizu being blindfolded. AngelFyre would attempt to cast the Knockback Jinx at Taizu, though the distraction of her legs must've proven to be detrimental to her casting ability as the spell zoomed past the Gryffindor, despite him being a very easy blindfolded target. All hope would not be lost though, as Emma too would cast the Knockback Jinx at Taizu and it proved to be a successful hit. Today was really proving to not be his day.
Lily would retaliate though, still aiming for AngelFyre and sending a very unpleasant Curse of the Bogies at the Hufflepuff. AngelFyre would not be able to dodge it, and she would soon find herself feeling quite ill. The room was surely going to fill with the sound of sniffles soon, and what with her legs still dancing, AngelFyre truly was not having a great time. At least Emma was still trying to be cheerful, but Adelaide highly doubts the luck of the Irish is going to help AngelFyre much in this situation. Taizu would make the smart decision to remove his blindfold, but the bubbles Emma had cast on him during the last round will surely prove to be a nuisance now. At least he wasn't completely vulnerable. Maybe he would be able to make a much needed comeback.
The duel was starting to heat up now, but Emma and Lily still remained unscathed. For how long, though, Adelaide had to wonder.

Emma grinned at Angelfyre. "Well, let's hope that's the kind of luck we've got." She wasn't sure how or what Angelfyre looked like, unable to focus on her what with all the bouncing.
She groaned slightly as Angelfyre attempted to cast while moving around. Honestly she wasn't surprised. What person could hit what they were aiming for when the caster was moving so much. Gripping her wand tightly, she brought it forward, quickly casting a Flipendo and hoping that it landed to at least do some damage. Emma aimed for Taizu, thinking both Gryffindor's were a threat but Taizu seemed slightly more powerful. She hoped they weren't wrong, but there was nothing for it now. She watched as the spell flew from her wand, successfully managing to hit the still blindfolded boy. Cheering slightly, Emma was glad that at least one spell had landed. Every little bit heled and she could only hope that the Hufflepuff side would be more successful than the Gryffindor one.
She spoke too soon though another spell came flying at Angelfyre. The poor girl seemed to to be the target every time they dueled it seemed. Or at least the primary one. "Are you okay? I wish I had some kleenex, I should have thought of that after the last duel" Emma called out, brow slightly furrowed as she watched her partner in concern.
She turned around, just in time to see the blindfold fall to the floor, and she looked at it disappointedly, having wished that the handicap would last a bit longer. At least the bubbles she had cast earlier were still hanging around. That would help a bit at least.

The "dancing" if such could actually be called that, was bad enough, but Lily had effectively cast the Curse of the Bogeys at AngelFyre. Though she saw it coming long before it hit, she was simply unable to get her dancing self out of the way. Dang it all to H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks. Hockey sticks. That made her think of Simon. And that made her then think her fellow must think she is simply is the world's worst duelist.
No! No! NOOOOOO!!!
That train of thought is not leaving this station. You have work to do here and a partner counting on you, to be bait if nothing else, so get it together, AF!
Looking over to Emma, her head feeling heavy with the copious amount of grossness filling every possible orifice, she attempted a smile. The dancing combined with the pressure from the mucus was already starting to give her a massive headache. She knew what she was capable of and she knew she just needed to reach down deep to show everyone else what she was capable of, so she did just that. She brushed away the fact that her Flipendo had missed Taizu and went to her space of serenity. She even smiled as she realized there was at least one other person in the audience cheering them on. She could not focus enough to look, but it sounded like... it sounded like Lucia Fox?!. That was comforting, but a little surprising.
AngelFyre closed her eyes, shut the noise and discomfort out, tied to breathe, and steeled herself for what she and Emma had decided to do next. Visualize the success. Visualize the success. Visualize the success. By the time the next round started, AngelFyre was feeling more centered, which would hopefully make her more dangerous to the lions standing before her.

Now able to see again, Taizu appeared to be back in the duel with a vengeance. So much so that he had declared a threat to the Hufflepuffs about 'facing his wrath'. Adelaide's eyes widened in surprise and she probably would've judged him more for the outburst if she had the time. But the Knockback Jinx that Taizu had sent at AngelFyre distracted her, and she was honestly starting to feel a tad sympathetic towards the Hufflepuff as the spell hit her. The mucus and nausea AngelFyre was suffering from was only going to get worse, and on top of that her legs were still dancing, so it was no surprise that she couldn't avoid the Flipendo, but that didn't mean it would hurt any less.
Lily, however, had appeared to freeze in the middle of the duel. No spell was cast from her wand, and Adelaide wondered if the nerves of a first duel were starting to catch up with the young girl. It would do the Gryffindor good to snap out of whatever trance she found herself in quickly, because zoning out in the middle of a duel would have detrimental consequences. AngelFyre had determination of steel, though, and she attempted to cast a Knockback Jinx at Taizu. Unfortunately, and despite the bubbles, the spell zoomed past Taizu. Unlucky, but Adelaide had to admire AngelFyre's determination. That girl was not giving up.
Emma, too, would appear unlucky this round, as her Knockback Jinx also flew past Taizu. The Duellists were clearly enjoying the use of Flipendo this round, and the duel was looking pretty even so far. And luckily for AngelFyre, she would feel the effects of the Dancing Feet Spell finally start to wear off.

Lily smirked as her curse of the bogies worked. She watched AngelFyre and couldn't help but laugh a little. It was hilarious what that spell did to them. Unless it was cast on the person who cast it, then they change their whole perspective. Lily was very fortunate not to have had it cast on her yet.

Emma's jaw dropped at Taizu's exclamation. Mainly because she hadn't expected it. Admittedly they were hammering the poor guy but at the same time that was part of the duel. Angelfyre had been the target of the two gryffindors but had yet to make any threats of vengeance (although she didn't doubt the girl was capable of doing so).
She cringed as Angelfyre was hit by yet another spell. As glad as she was that she currently hadn't been the target of any spells, she felt bad and slightly guilty because Angelfyre was taking all the damage. "Are you alright?" She called out to her teammate.
Emma looked towards Lily, unsure if the girl would cast, but it seemed that nothing was coming her way. Angelfyre however got there before her, however the cast failed. Taking a breath to try to focus, Emma aimed her Flipendo at Taizu, hoping to hit him hard, but instead she almost cried in frustration when her spell went right past him. She was so disappointed knowing that Angelfyre would likely suffer more in the next round.

[quote][quote]
Well, very little went their way in Round 3. The Bogey curse was only getting worse; more pressure and more mucus. And a more incessant headache from the sinus pressure. Uggggh. But the dung-covered cherry on top of her pain sundae was a nicely cast Knockback jinx that hit her squarely on, cast by Taizu. More pain, more weakened defenses. Terrific. Given the dancing and mucus she was dealing with, her own casting had, not surprisingly, missed Taizu, but even worse, Emma's Flipendo had missed as well. Double uuggghhhhh.
AngelFyre knew she and Emma were better than the current circumstances would indicate, but even so, they needed to get it together. She was aware Taizu had yelled something about them feeling his wrath after he was hit last round. The guy had follow through, she would give him that. The badgers needed to show the same. She looked over to Emma and smiled weakly, giving a thumbs up. She was down, but she was definitely not out. That was the good news.
And there was more good news, too. As she was stabilizing herself after the Flipendo hit, AngelFyre noticed the erratic jig had come to a stop. Hallelujah and pass the ammunition! Looking towards a smirking Lily, AngelFyre studied the Gryffindor and smirk or not, was glad to see the Gryffindor had frozen last round, for whatever reason.
Getting back in position, she nodded and managed to say to Emma, "We keep going... we persevere... and we overcome!"

ReducioPhase-Out Chance (9 - 10): [d10: 3] -> No phase-out, chances increase to 30%
Luck would supposedly be on the Hufflepuff's side this time around. Taizu would cast Incendio at AngelFyre, and even though the girl seemed to be doing a little worse for wear with the Curse of the Bogies, she still managed to dodge the spell. Lily seemed to be back in the game, snapping out of whatever momentary daydream that had caused her to freeze last round, and thankfully her teammate wouldn't be left to fend for himself. She would send another Dancing-Feet Spell towards AngelFyre, and thankfully AngelFyre decided it would be best to actively dodge the spells sent her way this round, and the spell missed her. A smart idea, considering the Gryffindors had been solely aiming for her. At least she wouldn't have to suffer another unfortunate dance.
Emma would then send a Flipendo towards Taizu, and it hit its mark. The boy was admittedly looking the worst out of the four Duellists and Adelaide couldn't help but wonder if he would be able to make a miraculous comeback from this, or if he would be the first to go out. He was still conscious for now, at least, so it was safe to continue. Although unfortunately for AngelFyre, she would find the Curse of the Bogies growing even worse, but at least she seemed determined to persevere through it, even though the sensation most definitely was not enjoyable in the slightest.
