Well technically this particular site (HiO) doesn't have face claims, not like other sites. So whoever you choose to represent your children, someone else could also choose the same ones to represent their children. I'm not saying they WILL but since there's no rule at the moment preventing the same face claim to be used for your PC, iNPC, family members or children, it's always a possibility!
I personally find it kind of odd if someone else has the same face claim as me... imo that's way too confusing (which is why most sites have face claims so whenever you select one, no one else can use it) unless they are specifically related to you or your family in some manner. Like there are dopplegangers out there in real life that resemble you but they don't look 100% the same.
If they DO look 100% the same, it's because you have an identical twin somewhere in your family that was kept from you. But that's just my take on things. I like things to make sense.

Yeah like family members are one thing but PCs/iNPCs are different to me. Imagine rping with someone who had the same face claim as you on a regular basis 
to me that would be kind of strange and weird because you'd have to pretend that you and that person don't look exactly the same and your friends and those you interact with would also have to pretend the two people they are talking to don't look exactly the same... suspension of belief to me is just too far-fetched. But that's just my opinion.

I always like to regard faceclaims as inspirations, not the exact look. Otherwise we'd have many 11 year olds (particularly girls) looking like they are in their early 20's.
I used to have Mackenzie Foy as faceclaim, which I shared with at least four others XD
