Forget the time and stay out after curfew? Although tbh, if it was accidental, Opeila would let people go with a warning.
Detention is there to make people not want to break the rules, so if the person never meant to anyway, what's the point?

I don’t know. I kind of want Taisia to have the experience of a detention, but it’s not something she’d do on purpose. @Irina Sousa and I talked about it

I remember when Lucia was supposed to get a detention, only we never finished the thread lol. She'd sprayed mud all over Lavinia Cloven in an errand by accident and promised Lavinia a favour to say sorry. The favour turned out to be helping Lavinia prank the Slytherins because they beat Ravenclaw in Quidditch xD They were going to get caught by two Slytherin perfects who were also on the Quidditch team only the thread kinda died out whelp
